Speaker 1:

Welcome, welcome, welcome. Another episode of From my Perspective. I'm your boy, Deion, Just got the beanie on today because it's cold, Like I said, it's cold today here in Louisville, Kentucky. But again, I'm your boy Deion. You know your boy, Captain Hater Q, he's in the building as well. How you doing Q what?

Speaker 2:

it do. It is your boy, Mr Bell. Hey, I'm here, that's all.

Speaker 1:

I can say I think I'm about to steal your nickname For just quite a little bit, but go ahead and start out with WWE Raw On Netflix. First episode on Netflix and, like I said, I gotta be a little bit of a hater. I hated it, man. I didn't enjoy it. If you're telling me give it a 1 out of 10, I give it a 4. I didn't think it was that enjoyable. Probably the biggest reason why I didn't like it is because of the Rock.

Speaker 2:

Really why you don't like it? Because of the Rock. Let me go ahead and elaborate.

Speaker 1:

I love the Rock. I even love the final boss even more, but what we got on Monday was not the final boss. He looked like the final boss. He looked like the final boss. He looked like the final boss. He looked like the final boss. He had the $600 shirt on like the final boss Okay, but he wasn't the final boss. The man apologized. He basically all cool with Cody Rose. Now he basically came out and awarded Roman Reigns with the UfL. My issue, basically what I'm saying, is it's clearly that the Rock is not going to be at WrestleMania and I'm upset about that.

Speaker 2:

So that's the only reason you gave it a four.

Speaker 1:

No, I mean the whole show. I gave it a four. No, I mean the whole show I really didn't enjoy. I mean I don't know why it was only four matches. I feel like not a lot happened. The stuff was predictable.

Speaker 1:

Undertaker came out, gave Rhea Ripley a nice little rub cool. Hulk Hogan came out, he got booed as he should've. Cool, he shouldn't have been out there anyways. But I mean it wasn't nothing really excited me. I'm just sitting here and seeing what's going on. Nothing moved the needle for me. The best thing about it for me, from my perspective, is the presentation was bomb. Netflix is doing their thing with that presentation. Well, wwe is doing their thing with this Netflix presentation. Outside of that, I didn't enjoy the show. I mean the match was good. Roman Reigns' solo saccade was good. Liv Morgan, rhea Ripley was okay. Drew McIntyre, jey Uso was good I do got a question about that here in a little bit and CM Punk and Seth Rollins they did their thing. But I don't know, I just wasn't feeling it. I guess I don't know. I just wasn't feeling it. I gave it a four.

Speaker 2:

Okay, cool, I disagree. I ain't saying it's a 10. I think I would give it a seven. I think I would give it a seven. I do think for it to only have been four matches, but it was three hours.

Speaker 1:

I felt every bit of that three hours.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, you did feel the three hours, but what he did was him being Triple H. He gave all them matches time to cook. None of them matches felt rushed. All of those matches had the opportunity to get their shit off and show what wrestling is. They ain't want to jam pack a bunch of stuff into a show they might have. Maybe should have gotten another match in there. I think that would be. My only critique is maybe they should have. Maybe should have gotten another match in there. I think that would be. My only critique is maybe they should have gotten another match in there. The whole thing getting booed I do want to talk about the whole thing getting booed. People's like it was a political thing. They're definitely not. Undertaker was at her vote for Trump too.

Speaker 1:

He's a big MAGA guy, too Big one.

Speaker 2:

Nobody is mad at Taker. We still love him. Mark Henry basically said it. It's like, hey, but you did the racist stuff, people took you back in and then you did the racist stuff again. Nah, but it's like you standing on the racist business.

Speaker 1:

Nah, my boy, we can't affiliate with it and even worse, he apparently I mean it's from the reports Hulk Hogan. He had the opportunity to apologize. He got with a bunch of rumors with a bunch of wrestlers, the way the wrestlers said it. He didn't apologize for doing it. He apologized for getting caught. He apologized that the camera was there and basically told them told them people. He didn't apologize for doing it. He apologized for getting caught. He apologized that the camera was there and basically told them people, watch your surroundings about cameras.

Speaker 2:

He didn't apologize that he said it. He apologized that he got caught, so that means he stood on business about it. So, yeah, I mean that's why he going to get booed for the rest of his life. That's the thing With WWE. They kept mentioning or rumoring him to be like a make appearances. I don't know For Triple H to be online and be reading the room. He missed the boat on that one. Nobody wanted to see.

Speaker 1:

Hulk.

Speaker 2:

Hogan? Definitely not. Don't even associate him with your brand at this point, because it's going to do more harm than good.

Speaker 1:

He is not the Hulk Hogan of yesteryear. Well, nobody cares about him. It makes no sense to not have Stone Cold. Steve Austin, he has a beard. Put his beard out there. Don't put Hulk Hogan's beard out there. Come on, you got Stone Cold Hulk Hogan. Since we're here speaking of the sponsors, how do you feel about the mat with the sponsors on it? Did you notice it? Did it stand out, or did you just like get it? How do you feel about it?

Speaker 2:

I noticed it at the beginning.

Speaker 1:

Then afterwards I couldn. If I was WWE, I would put Netflix in the middle and Fortnite on the bottom. I feel like that would be better, but I didn't really notice it after a while. I'm just hey, I'm sure they're getting their money for it, but I hope whoever the brand is that's paying for it ain't paying too much for it, because after a while you forget that they's even there.

Speaker 2:

It don't even matter. You just said Netflix was there. Forget that they's even there. You just said Netflix was there. The only one I remember was Fortnite.

Speaker 1:

That's the only one. That's the only one I remember. I remember Fortnite, netflix. I know Hogan's Beer is on one of the sides, maybe Cricket's on the other corner, I don't know. I just I know Netflix and Fortnite was one of them. It was two of them.

Speaker 2:

Real quick Cricket with the Otis and Chad Gable commercial. They ain't even cool, no more, that commercial's over.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I saw that. What are?

Speaker 2:

y'all doing Cricket. Come on man and WWE. Why y'all letting that shit go off? They not even Chad Gable and Otis AD ain't cool, no more. They not feuding, it's over, like what we doing.

Speaker 1:

I will say one thing that this show did do. It has tempted me to get to Netflix with no ads because there was some stuff some nothing too crazy, but they did have stuff that happened while ads was playing. New Day had a little thing that I didn't see on Netflix but I had to see on Twitter. They did tempt me to go deeper in my pockets and pay for the no ads. I don't know how to do it, but I got tempted to do it.

Speaker 2:

Nah, I ain't going to do that. I'm not going to do that. I ain't going to do that. Speaking of New Day, I won't get back to the Rock. I'm going to circle back around to the Rock. It's just you brought up the New Day At some point. The New Day is going to have to talk. Are the fans ever going to let them? Mattel?

Speaker 1:

No, they're about to get booed everywhere they're going to get booed.

Speaker 2:

I mean obviously it point. I want to know why. Why did y'all do what y'all did? I want to know we'll see.

Speaker 1:

I think they're scheduled to be on the show next week. We'll see, but they was in California dissing Kendrick Lamar. They done messed up.

Speaker 2:

That's how you get some heat. I'm going to go to your hometown and diss you. I'm going to go to your hometown and get you. I'm going to go to your hometown and be like man.

Speaker 1:

You overrated but before you ask me, before we swing back to the rock, I want to swing to this Jey Uso Drew McIntyre match. I really don't even want to talk about the match. My question to you what was your reaction when Travis Scott pulled out the joint? I didn't think I wasn't. I didn't think my eyes were seeing what I was seeing.

Speaker 2:

It's Netflix, so Netflix, you could get away with certain stuff, you could do certain things. I know in my head they was like bro, come on, bro, no, bro, no. I feel like they had to know, and I feel like Triple H talked about it in the post I was going to say post-game press conference, the post post-game press conference. He was like man, we got a lot of more things coming. With Trevor Scott. In my head I'm like I know they're talking to him like you can't do that. No, don't do that. We can't have that.

Speaker 1:

I thought I was tripping.

Speaker 2:

I thought you were going to ask me about the pen, like you did, jay you so good cheating.

Speaker 1:

No, no, I was just. I just know. That was one of the first things. When I saw that, I was like am I seeing what I'm believing? I was like that's the first thing I'm gonna ask you. I was like what was your reaction when you saw Travis Scott pull out the joint? I was like, oh my goodness.

Speaker 2:

Man, travis Scott, being Travis Scott. Yeah, I know they back there like come on bruh. Nah, so the opinion Jey Uso won by a roll-up, I don't know. It's like, okay, you beat Drew McIntyre, but did you beat Drew McIntyre?

Speaker 1:

I mean I feel like neither of them really could afford to take a L. They did it like that, but if they can't, I mean neither of them really could afford to take a L. Sure, they did it like that, but if they can't, I mean both of them was over. They probably just went with the baby face because man Jey Uso's super over. Give the crowd something to be happy about.

Speaker 2:

But they did that the whole night. That whole night, like you said, that whole night was predictable. You knew Roman was going to win. You knew Rhea was going to win, which I don't think Rhea should have won no, I don't either. Okay, cool, jey Uso won. You know why he won because he's over his fan favorite. But then, like I said, he basically got cheated out of victory because he really didn't beat him and then see him put on.

Speaker 1:

All babyfaces won.

Speaker 2:

You knew what it was Now I do. So people was talking about online that they should have switched the matches, like Solo and Roman was the better match and it should have closed out the show.

Speaker 1:

It was the better match. But if the Rock was going to attack Roman at the end of the show, it was the better match. But if the Rock was going to attack Roman at the end of the show, at the end of the match, I would say close the show with that. But the Rock was just being all lovey-dovey. All he did was take his glasses off. That's why I was like man, because I'm looking, I wanted to see the Rock, but I want to see the Rock at WrestleMania. I'm sorry, guys. I was trying to see the final boss face either Cody Rhodes or Roman Reigns, either one, I didn't care, I just wanted to see the final boss at WrestleMania. And now it doesn't look like we're going to get it. That's why I was upset.

Speaker 2:

You know why he did it. That's why I was going to say we're going to circle back to Roman, I mean the Rock. But you know why he did it. I'm listening, Okay, so from what I the websites and stuff that I be checking in with and the YouTube stuff I be checking in with basically the Rock went to Tribulation and was like make this about John? I don't know, it's his time. Basically, I'm on my own. I don't even know if I'm going to be free this year?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, because Moana too, that thing hit. That thing was a hit at the box office. I need to go check it out.

Speaker 2:

but that thing was a hit. I know I might go pee in my damn chair.

Speaker 1:

So yeah. So I mean that makes sense. And John Cena did. He did make an appearance, he did one of those rah-rah promos, how John Cena doing his thing, basically saying getting down on himself, then getting up on himself, saying if I win the Royal Rumble? Pretty much, he declared for the Royal Rumble and I think he might be might as well, got put in the favor to win it.

Speaker 2:

Now yeah, either that or elimination chamber.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so John Cena will be in the Royal Rumble. Should be exciting. The first entrant.

Speaker 2:

He's the first one to be.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, first one to say he's going to be in there. So, hey, you can't see me, man, we'll be there. I was expecting John Cena to set up more of a feud, which he didn't, but he set up more of a feud, which he didn't, but he set up his first match, first match that we know is going to be at the Royal Rumble. I don't know how many matches he's going to do in this full year, but I expect him to do at least some type of matches he's going to do.

Speaker 2:

I mean he's going to do For Ma, he's going to be there for the whole year and he's full-time. So, yeah, that's what every pay-per-view is. What's that?

Speaker 1:

10?, 11? He'll be there. Yeah, so he'll be there for every pay-per-view. I'm interested in how many weekly television shows he's going to do.

Speaker 2:

He gone. It's John Cena, he gone. Want to do them.

Speaker 1:

That's the thing. He's going to be fucking busy. Then he said y'all got the whole year.

Speaker 2:

Hey, y'all got this year. Figure it out, use me as much as you want, but after that I'm just going to pop in and pop out.

Speaker 1:

He said he ain't going to wrestle. He said next time you see him after this year, he going to be in the suit. The joints is going to be up in the rafters.

Speaker 2:

Yeah he does. I ain't mad at it, though, but I do want to say this about John Cena, and I know we've said it before you got to do the him and the Randy. You have to do it, and I know we talk about stuff being predictable all the time, but you got to do the Johnny and Randy one last time.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, I don't know if it's got to be his last match, but it's got to be one last time they got to do it, Maybe even for the title, and I think I know John Cena said he doesn't know about breaking it, but from WWE he's breaking that title, hey because you don't want Ric Flair, because his ass started doing wild shit like, oh yeah, you can't have him being the one to do it.

Speaker 2:

Man, matter of fact, I'll let him break it at WrestleMania this year. Shit, or at least SummerSlam One of these John Cena's getting his size because we are going to get this out of the way.

Speaker 1:

Because Ric Flair's liable to get canceled any moment. So you got to.

Speaker 2:

Never know him.

Speaker 1:

Never know. But yeah, that was WNF. I'm hoping I expect episode two. It's going to get back to its normal routine, so it should be. I think I should start enjoying it a little bit more. Something I am interested about going forward, though. Triple H basically said the show can be anywhere between 40 minutes to 4 hours. Obviously, it's probably not going to be 40 minutes or 4 hours, but it didn't hit me until it's like 10.58. And I'm looking at Seth and CM Punk. They still don't look like the end is nowhere in sight. And it just hit me like, oh shit, they ain't got no hard out. They can end at 11-0-3 if they wanted to.

Speaker 1:

So I'm excited about how they're going to play that out. So, but that's it for WWE. Netflix We'll see. Obviously, friday Night Smackdown is still on USA Network. They still got a lot of rules to abide by. Probably won't be as cool as Netflix. But speaking of people breaking rules, he actually broke some rules and he got a seven-game suspension, jimmy Butler.

Speaker 2:

Jimmy.

Speaker 1:

Butler basically requested a trade. The Phoenix Suns was high on the radar but again, bradley Bill would have to be in that trade and Bradley Bill has a no trade clause. So I saw earlier today on Get Up Brian Windhorst basically said he expects Jimmy Butler to be back with the Miami Heat. What does Q think?

Speaker 2:

Okay, becky Hammond. I'm stealing this directly from Becky Hammond because she said it best when a player tells you he won't out, and he start giving you teams or where he wants to go, you might as well go on training because the situation is over. She said Jimmy Butler right now is like the girl who went on a date with a guy and she realized that she ain't into dude, she's going to play a cordial. I ain't going to do too much, but at the end of the day, me and you both know this ain't going nowhere. So let's go and wrap this up quicker than when we wrapping it up. It's basically what it boils down to.

Speaker 2:

I agree with the thing. I agree with Brian, because I heard him say it it's going to be hard to trade Jimmy Butler with all these different aprons and stuff now, with all these different rules and stuff. It's not as easy as you put three players together to trade for one player. You used to do that in the NBA. You can't really do that now. So it's going to be hard to trade Jimmy Butler, but at the same time you can't bring Jimmy Butler back to the locker room knowing he want to be out and y'all just suspended that man for seven games and he lost millions of dollars. How Seven games?

Speaker 1:

We know how disgruntled Jimmy Butler is. Just ask Minnesota.

Speaker 2:

He got suspended for seven games. It wasn't even like a warning, it was. None of these reports got out of stuff he was doing behind the scenes. Now they supposedly gave him a full breakdown of why they suspended him, but you must have had that stuff already so you could have been the suspender. You set him because it was six games. I think it was six games on the road. They only played one game at home and you looking for somebody at the church man before this time is up Because you're not expecting him to be back. But I don't know who's going to. People have the assets for him but because of the rules, who's going to trade for him? And realistically it's got to be Bradley Beal. But if you're Miami, do you want Bradley Beal? Because the Suns the bench, bradley Beal.

Speaker 1:

I don't know. I mean, that's the best play you can probably get. Bradley Beal has to wait if there's no trade calls. And does Bradley Beal want to go to Miami? Well, shit, who wouldn't want to go to Miami? Come on, I was about to get you. Hey but who don't want to go to Miami? Oh shit, who wouldn't want to go to Miami?

Speaker 2:

But I'm making $50 million and I'm living on a beach in Miami and I'm Bradley Beal.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, but I honestly don't think, I really don't think, that would work out. You got Tyler Hero. Obviously, bradley Beal is a better player than Tyler Hero, but still that's two guards, Don't?

Speaker 2:

either one of them play defense, bam's going to get fouled. Bam's going to foul out every game. He's going to be O-lay to that lane hey man, if you put Hero in field up there, bam is going to foul out every game. He can't do what you want him to do.

Speaker 1:

So, outside the Phoenix Suns, what are the other options for Jimmy Butler?

Speaker 2:

Well, they talked about going to State Warriors, but would you trade Kaminga for a 34-, 35-year-old Jimmy Butler?

Speaker 1:

Unless the championship window was this year and never no. Unless the championship window was this year and never no.

Speaker 2:

And out of reports, jimmy Butler plans on testing free agency this year. So you're basically trading for a rental. So am I giving up Kaminga for that? No, houston already kind of said that they weren't going to do it.

Speaker 1:

And also, if I'm Houston, that would mess up your young court.

Speaker 2:

And how close are we? That's the question. Are we close enough to trade for Jimmy Butler? Because, let's be real, give Jimmy Butler his credit. He got Miami and some dudes besides him and Bam. He got Miami, bam and some dudes to the finals twice. So give Jimmy Butler his credit. He can turn it on when he want to turn it on. I was going to turn it on, but do you want to send that to Houston? If you're Houston, are you close enough to give up all your assets? Maybe, but not really. You know what I mean. Maybe, but not really. Dallas. For Dallas to do it, they have to trade Clay, because you ain't trading Kyrie or Luka, you ain't trading Luka, so you have to trade Clay. This Miami won't Clay.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, and Jimmy Butler wouldn't fit with them because Kyrie and Luka are already ball-dominant. Clay's not a ball-dominant guy. Post him up in that corner. He gonna shoot them threes. He don't want to dribble the ball anyway, he trying to shoot.

Speaker 2:

Basketball-wise it fits better with Clay than Jimmy Butler. Now, jimmy Butler offensively, defensively Jimmy Butler still has, jimmy Butler still could get it in on the defensive end. As a word, clay still attempts, but he ain't. He still does it, but he ain't the Clay that he used to. Yeah, so I mean Detroit.

Speaker 1:

They not a Jimmy Butler way, for sure no.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, because I'm saying Detroit and Orlando, if I remember correctly, both of them have cap space, so both of them could do it financially, if I remember right. I know Orlando for sure, but if I remember right, detroit does have the cap space too. But even in Detroit they're not a Jimmy Butler way. Orlando you got Franz and Pablo and Orlando needs a three-point shooter. Jimmy Butler's not needs a three-point shooter. Jimmy Butler's not really a three-point shooter, so they need a three-point shooter. I don't. I'm going throughout a team dog and I'm coming over here.

Speaker 1:

There's nobody, I mean feed it. Jimmy Butler wants to go to a championship contender.

Speaker 2:

I got one. I got one. I got one. He go back to Philly. Philly charged Paul George but then as Miami signing off Paul George's contract for another four or five years and they don't want to pay, miami don't want to pay the tax. But I'm saying he could go back to Philly, but I can't really think of nobody. So I guess maybe I am leaning towards the nah. He going to get traded. They going to figure it out.

Speaker 1:

Nah, I think they need to. I mean, at this point it's over, the relationship is over. They need to just trade him. When Brian Wendhart said he sees Jimmy Butler coming back to the Miami Heat on the shot, usually when a relationship gets to this point with a player and a team, the guy is done for, he's gone, especially someone like Jimmy Butler. We know how this man can be when he's disgruntled and wants to be out.

Speaker 2:

He won't go.

Speaker 1:

He won't go. He won't go. We'll see Teams that we didn't mention, that we know don't need them, is the Timberwolves and the Pacers Do we know that the Timberwolves don't.

Speaker 2:

They need something Okay because I was already saying do we know that the Timberwolves don't?

Speaker 1:

They don't look the same. That trade that they did for Julius Randle. I bet they wish they could take it back. I bet they wish they had a cap right there.

Speaker 2:

So I bet I don't want to step over it. You want to Go?

Speaker 1:

ahead. We go on to the NBA't want to step over it. Did you want to Go ahead? So I mean we're going to the NBA? Q wanted to raise a question and I'm going to let him answer. It Is the Tim Woods and the Pacers. Both these teams made it to their respective conference finals, so go ahead. How did you put it?

Speaker 2:

Oh, I mean because you got to answer it too, don't be trying to push it out on me. So I got it actually from Stan Van Gundy when he was talking to the head coach of the Minnesota Timberwolves I'm trying to blank on his name but he said he wants his team to prove that they are a conference final team and not a team that made the conference finals.

Speaker 2:

So then I took that for my paces, not a team that made the conference finals. So then I took that with for my paces as well, because we made the conference finals and it's like are we good and are we good enough, currently constituted, to say that we're a conference final candidate contender, or are we just got? Was last year a fluke. And so, looking at the paces, we we was under 500 for most of this season. We've been under 500 most of this season. We are now on 20-18. Four-game win streak. Four-game win streak out of I think we won nine. We done won nine in the past ten. We done won nine in the past ten. So that's why we getting hot at this point With us.

Speaker 2:

If I'm being real, are we a conference final contender? I'm going to say it's a small chance. If I had to put a percentage on it, it's like a five. Okay, what I've realized in these past couple games as far as the Indiana faces is Andrew Neumhardt. He might not be, he's not the best player, but he is the most important because he can do it on the offensive end. He can help with Tyrese. You know Tyrese gets a little shaky sometimes. He can also play a combo guard situation and he also plays defense really well, better than I realized he did. He plays defense a lot better than I realized he did. But if I'm being honest about the Indiana Pacers, I'm not 100% sure that we are a conference final contender. I feel like it's a possibility with us.

Speaker 1:

Go ahead. I would agree with that statement. I mean, the conference contenders is the Cavs, celtics, knicks and Magic at the moment, but the Bucs looks like they're making a turnaround. But I mean it's Cavs, celtics, knicks, magic, y'all following that next tier with the Bucs. I wouldn't.

Speaker 2:

I would put the Magic in that next tier Because at some point this guy, this them winning without their two best players. They want a game versus the Knicks man, you talented player with their four best scoring options, not playing this stuff, go for a while off at some point. Orlando not going to be able to do that all year. Shout out to the coach Moses for him getting it like it, for him to keep winning like this. But come on, bro, it ain't going to keep going out here. I agree.

Speaker 2:

So I think it's just three, I think it's just New York, I think it's New York Cavs and Boston as, like, the favorites. But then, like you said, that next turn is the magic, the Bucs and the Pacers. Yep, with the Bucs leaning towards the other tier.

Speaker 1:

And after that it's just have fun at the bottom. Hopefully y'all enjoy y'allself Y'all. I think y'all do have a chance Part of it. Y'all did run into who y'all beat last year. Y'all beat to get to the conference. We beat.

Speaker 2:

Philly right. We beat Milwaukee when Giannis didn't play the last three or four games, and then Dane missed the last game.

Speaker 1:

And then hobbled Joel and beat. Did we play one of the? They missed the last game. And then, how about Jimmy? How about Joel and B?

Speaker 2:

Did we play? I thought it was. No, it was Milwaukee, new York. We played Milwaukee, new York and then Boston in the conference final. Yeah, we played New York, which Brunson got hurt in the last game, and then everybody was talking about somebody else that had got hurt and I'm like man, he been hurt.

Speaker 1:

Our.

Speaker 2:

OG got hurt.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that man was out there on that. He tried to play the last game. Yeah, couldn't even move. Dog, he was out there on that, good stuff.

Speaker 2:

So yeah, then we played Boston, then we played Boston, and then Tyrese got hurt.

Speaker 1:

And we was in three of them. Four games we was in. I was in those games, except for that second one that second one boy.

Speaker 2:

They took our ass up.

Speaker 1:

So I think I did get a little lucky, especially with the Milwaukee thing, but I think I can get lucky again. Y'all have a talented enough team that them teams can't just overlook y'all. Y'all talented enough to beat, I would say, anybody but the Celtics and Knicks four times out of seven. Everybody else y'all can beat them four times out of seven. I think we can beat the Knicks. Y'all do got the Knicks number. For some reason we can beat the.

Speaker 2:

Knicks. I don't know about Boston, because Boston's hard to beat when you break it down. If you look at Boston, I know Cleveland got the better record right now because Cleveland's baller. But if you look at Boston, they got two dominant wings. They can give it to you Then they best play. A talent wise is probably Porzingis. He's a seven-foot unicorn. He's what Wimpy was. He was Wimpy before Wimpy and before Chet. And then you add on they still got Drew Holiday and Derrick White. They got two guards that play their roles very well on the defensive end and can knock down open shots and also go get their own buckets.

Speaker 2:

And then add on Horford. And then you got Pritchard coming off the bench hitting threes from half-court. Boston's kind of, if you think. In a seven-game series I don't know if you want to I think Boston's still a favorite. Even though Cleveland got the better record, I still think Boston's going to be a favorite.

Speaker 1:

Got you. You're right From my perspective. From your perspective. I agree with you. You're right, my bro. So let's go ahead and slide over to the West and basically have the same conversation, but with the Minnesota Timberwolves, and I think their situation is a little bit different. They was a conference championship contender until they made that trade. Now they're just another team.

Speaker 2:

I feel it, I feel it, I feel it, I can see it. But the crazy thing is the Carl Anthony Townsend New York is getting. I don't think Minnesota ever get it, if that's fair to say.

Speaker 1:

I think they're not missing Cat on the offensive end. They're missing Cat on the defensive end, which is crazy that twin towers of Rudy and Cat. It helped them out so much. It's basically how the San Antonio Spurs feel when they have Wimby on the court, you're not going to the paint with Wimby on the court. When you had Rudy Gobert and Cat on the court, you wasn't going to that paint. You know people, they turn that paint up. They do. It's something I. They go there and say what's up, rudy, it's something I want to say about Wendy too.

Speaker 2:

We'll come back to it. I just have something quick. I want to say Minnesota, the thing you said. They're not missing him on offense, but I do think they're missing his three-point making a little bit, because Randall is a very. Give me the ball in the paint or give me the ball at the key and I'm going to make some shape. The ball don't really flow as much with Randall and I'm not getting Randall because Randall helped New York last year get into the playoffs.

Speaker 2:

But at the same time that offense that doesn't fit well with everybody, especially when you got a Rudy on the court. Rudy compared to Hortenstein that New York had last year. Hortenstein could at least pass the ball a little bit better. Rudy basically plays defense and he can get offensive rebounds and putbacks. That's it Hardest thing. At least pass the ball out a little bit. He's not as good as Rudy on the defensive end but he can give you a little bit of facilitating the offense on the offensive end. Randall, don't give you that next to Rudy. Randall, don't give you that next to Rudy. Yeah, randall, don't give you that next to Rudy. When Randall was next to Hardenstein, it worked better. Towns works better with Rudy, if that makes sense. Did I just make that make sense? I don't know, I might have just bogged down too much. Basically, what I'm saying is Carl Anthony Towns fit better next to Cag than Julius.

Speaker 1:

Randle did. Yeah, Julius Randle is an ISO player, basically.

Speaker 2:

Yeah. And he don't know. He don't really know how to play, no other way, thank you, that sums it up. Randle is a say it again, because now I'm just tripping he's an ISO player. Cat can't do it, but he also can play in the offense. The trade ruined? I ain't going to say ruined them, because I don't yeah, you're right, they're still 2017, seventh in the West.

Speaker 1:

Right now, obviously, they're in the play-in. That's not where you want to be. They're in the play-in tournament, but come on, I expected them to be fighting for a top four spot top five four spot. Right now, they're a play-in team.

Speaker 2:

Which, like you said, coming into the season, you never would have thought that. But, man, I hate to see it for Ant, because I feel like Ant Ant's out here trying his best to, you know, create a team or something, but it ain't clicking for him. It's just not clicking as a team. Maybe they need some time. You know trade chemistry, it takes a toll on the team. Give them some time, maybe it'll fill itself out, hopefully, possibly. The other thing that's not helping them is that Dave Vincenzo, like in the preseason dude, was on fire.

Speaker 2:

He ain't got it. Now he has. He's shown glimpses, I hear lately he's getting into form, but realistically he ain't the dude that they thought they was getting either. Minnesota didn't win on neither player at that point.

Speaker 1:

It's crazy that I don't know how I thought the trade was going. I thought the trade was beneficial for both teams. Houston is always only one winner and that was definitely only one winner in that trade and it was definitely the New York Knicks.

Speaker 2:

We realize that now, the hindsight being 20-20, yeah, but to answer the question about is Minnesota a conference contender, at this point I'm going to say no. I'm going to give them a percentage chance, like I will my Pacers, but I think I will give them a lower percentage chance because in fact the West is so. You got so many good teams in the West when the East, you know, once you get past them, top three, four, you know Indiana's in a conversation for the top six as well, like you just said, minnesota's in the play-in game and you, looking up how many of those teams do you think is going to take a big regression? Maybe Houston.

Speaker 1:

That's probably the only one man, because they're young. Houston, maybe the Lakers? Yeah, I can see the Lakers making a regression, for sure, because I mean they just I feel like it may be clicking for them a little bit. They have lost two straight, but LeBron is LeBron. You can't count him out too much. Anthony Davis' health is the biggest thing. Is he going to stay healthy the whole season?

Speaker 2:

That's what it boils down to. Is Anthony Davis going to stay healthy the whole season? That's what it was. Is Andy Davis going to stay healthy or is he still going to play at MVP conversation level, like he's played at most of this year? I ain't saying he's MVP, but he's MVP conversation. He's been playing that way for most of the year. I think that's important. The dude that traded Minnesota, traded away is MVP, playing like MVP conversation.

Speaker 1:

He been balling up there. I don't know, it must be just when you walk into Madison Square Garden he feels different or something, but he been balling up there.

Speaker 2:

But, like I said, he's at home.

Speaker 1:

So before we go to the top of each conference, OKC and the Cavs. You wanted to talk about something about Wimby, oh, Wimby.

Speaker 2:

So I watched the Oklahoma City and Cleveland game number one in the East versus number one in the West and the next game was Giannis versus Wimby. Every time I watch Wimby it looked like Wimby be doing too much. It felt like he trying too hard. I saw him tire himself out because he was basically chasing the ball in pain, trying to block every shot, and was leaving Brook Lopez wide open. Now to get to the Spurs credit, they did some, you know they rotated a little bit, but Brook was open on a lot of them shots, because Wimby was just out here running to the rim and then he would get the ball and then start trying to shoot threes Every time and then sometimes, you know, he would go to the paint too. But it just felt like he wasn't. He was doing a lot but wasn't doing nothing at the same time. And I don't know. Every time I watch Wimby, wendy that's what I see, that's all I wanted to get off of.

Speaker 1:

He probably feels like he has to carry the spurs. Chris Paul's a nice aging old superstar, aging old. He's not Chris Paul of five years ago. So he, wendy, just needs another person. Chris Paul of five years ago. So he, wimmy, just needs another person, that's all. He just needs another person to help him. Take the load off him a little bit, that's all, yeah, and they don't have that right now.

Speaker 1:

So that, okay, seeing the Cavs One versus one, one versus one. How do you feel about that game? When you was watching it, man, I wouldn't be mad if it was the finals.

Speaker 2:

That's how you feel that game was good. Neon Dog, that was one of the best regular season games I've seen in a little minute because both teams played like all right, bet Y'all number one over her. I'm going to show you why I'm number one over her and I'm going to show you why they should be talking about me. In the finals, both teams played, both teams balled out like that. And with Cleveland, you know me, man Donovan Mitchell moved.

Speaker 1:

I'm always going it's you know, same thing I say with Lamar.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, you know what I'm saying. Him and Mobley got like a. They got a connection and when they on the court together it's like he's trying to get Mobley going Because he, donovan, didn't hit his second shot for like halfway through the third quarter. But you get Mobley going, he's taking a step. And then Darius Garland I heard boy bro Mowgli going. He's taking a step. And then Darius Garland I heard balling. I um bro, I forget it was one of them. Oklahoma City defenders Put dude on skates and then Jared Allen had a. Jared Allen had 25 and like 15. I don't even remember bro scoring and bro had a quiet 25 and 15. I don't even. I don't even remember seeing him scoring and we had a quiet 25-15. I don't even remember seeing him. I think I seen him hit one shot and go to the free throw line. That's all I remember, bro had 20 fast.

Speaker 1:

Look up at the scoreboard like damn.

Speaker 2:

What are you doing? It's petty on the Cleveland side. George Niyang he a foreign dude, bro. He look like you got to a foreign dude. He look like you gotta look, bruh. He look like somebody that hoops at the YMCA Somebody's dead. He ain't gonna pick up the keys as soon as he get done hooping Because, bro, look like somebody is dead at the YMCA. There's hooping. The way his body's built and all that. He don't look like the fittest NBA player. But he be out there balling. He be out there balling. He be out there hustling too. You know what I'm saying. No, I'm going to see these guys. I'm excited to see them when they get Chad back, because that's the thing. They number one. They number one in the West without Chad. They played part of the season with Chet and then they played the rest of it with Hardenstein. I'm excited to see when they got Hardenstein and Chet, because Chet's going to. Everybody keeps talking about how they need three-point shooters. Chet is the three-point shooter.

Speaker 1:

Yep.

Speaker 2:

I'm excited to see them when they get Chet back.

Speaker 1:

So my question to you if it is the finals that we get, who is and how many games? Yeah, you're going to put people on the spot I got to ask you the tough, hard-hitting questions.

Speaker 2:

You couldn't text me this before. I'm going to go Oklahoma City at four because of Chet. I'm going to go Oklahoma City at four. Sorry, oklahoma City at seven. It's going to go Oklahoma City at seven. I'm going to go with the Chet factor but even that being said, mobley can defend Chet. After I'm going to go with the Chad factor, but even that being said, mobley can defend Chad. After I'm on the paint.

Speaker 1:

You can. I mean Mobley, is pretty mobile out there.

Speaker 2:

Just sling it right in there with him, mobley, just sling it right in there with him. I ain't mad at you. You got to take it where you get it. I'm going to go Oklahoma City. I'm going to go Oklahoma City. I'm going to go Oklahoma City in seven.

Speaker 1:

My next question. Ironically, both teams have a six.

Speaker 2:

Hold on hold on, hold, on hold on. You answered the question too, dog. No, he's trying to put me on the spot.

Speaker 1:

I'll put OKC in six. I'm not going to say seven OKC. You disrespectful Boy, you disrespectful. Put OKC in six. I'm not going to say seven OKC. You disrespectful Boy, you disrespectful.

Speaker 2:

You ain't even give Don a mention of credit to say he going to get three.

Speaker 1:

I thought we was good for that.

Speaker 2:

He went into the game wearing a UofL football hoodie.

Speaker 1:

I think they. This is why my next question is you know, as I think him fighting the Celtics is going to take a lot out of him. Okay, good point, I don't know Credit both teams. They have a six-game lead for the number one seed. That's somewhat of a lot. Still plenty of time left in the season, but six games is a lot. But if only one of these teams make it to the finals, which one do you see?

Speaker 1:

Oklahoma City, that was going to be my answer, because I mean the Rockets is number two Good team, but they're young. They're a team that I can see falling to what OKC fell to last year. Y'all just too young. The lights is too bright for y'all. I can see the Rockets, the lights being too bright for the Rockets. The Grizzlies good team, we'll see. We'll see Nuggets they've been up and down most of the season, but mostly up. Westbrook has found some nice little spots. Lakers, they're the Lakers we talked about. The Timberwolves, the Clippers not good. The Warriors, the Steph Curry and the Maybes, and the Spurs is Wimby and the Nobodies is Chris Paul. So, and then in the Eastern Conference, the Cavs they got the Celtics. The Celtics might still be the favorite to win it all.

Speaker 2:

They are.

Speaker 1:

And then obviously you got the Knicks and the Magics, bucks and your Pacers and the rest of the teams are whatever. So it's definitely OKC has the best chance to make it to the finals and I expect them to make it to the finals. My finals pick I know you said you like the Cavs. I'm going to go with the Celtics and OKC.

Speaker 2:

Oh, I said, I could see that as the finals.

Speaker 1:

You could see it I'm going with OKC and the Celtics.

Speaker 2:

I'm still going. That's what we did in the year. I'm still going with OKC and Boston, but I wouldn't be mad seeing this. I ain't jumped on the Cavs bandwagon that much now, whoa whoa, whoa whoa, I ain't hangin' all day now.

Speaker 1:

I can't wait until we get to the NBA playoffs. Again. That's the time of year me and you we do, and that's when we do a lot. We actually put work in on the finals, boy, we put work in, but NBA, nba playoffs. We still got a couple months in. We don't gotta wait too much longer for the NFL playoffs, as it starts Saturday, as we have the Houston Texans going up against the I almost said San Diego the Los Angeles Chargers.

Speaker 2:

Because they still should be in San Diego, though. Oh, that's wild.

Speaker 1:

And then we also got our guy Lamar Jackson going up against the Pittsburgh Steelers. That game's on prime. I don't know why, how that guy got stuck to be on prime, but it did Money. You know, money hungry. That's Saturday. Sunday is Green Bay versus Philadelphia, washington and the Bucs, denver and the Buffalo I don't know what time. And then the Monday night is Minnesota versus LA. Word did just come in earlier today that that game is being moved to Arizona due to the fires in Southern California, specifically LA. So all the people affected by those fires, we're praying for you guys. Hopefully you'll come out on the better end of it. Hopefully you get out on time. Looks like it's a bad situation, especially when they're canceling games and moving games like they're doing, with the Minnesota and LA moving into Arizona. It's a bad situation. So hopefully everyone's okay with that. But the playoff pitchers are set. Which one of these matchups are you most excited about?

Speaker 2:

I want to say Lamar and the Steelers, and I know I do a lot of love for her, but that's not why I want to see it. I want to see it because it seems like Tomlin be having Lamar's number.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I'm nervous. As a Lamar fan, I'm nervous about that one. I can see that being an upset.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I'm nervous. As a Lamar fan, I'm nervous about that one. I can see that being an upset. That's why I want to see that game the most, because I am interested to see if Lamar can get over that hump. Yep, Because then he's got to continue to get over humps to get to the Super Bowl, because I picked him to get to the Super Bowl. But this is a major hump because he struggles with him and doing a regular season. So you know the playoff lights they brighter, so what you going to do. That's why I'm that. For me, that's why I would say this guy Uh-huh, uh, uh.

Speaker 1:

one I'm pretty interested in and we talked earlier we got we got to mention teams that was like you better win Buffalo. You are my better win watch list. The window is now. I was wrong about you guys. Earlier going into the season I thought y'all was going to have a down year. Y'all traded away y'all best receivers Stephon Diggs, josh Allen went nuclear, as he's in the MVP conversation. We'll talk about that another week though, as they don't give it out quite yet. But we'll talk about that another week. But you're going up against a hot Denver Bronco teams and Bo Nix looking good and we'll find out if the lights are too bright for him as he's a rookie Bo Nix looking good.

Speaker 2:

Stop it, stop it, deion, stop. It. Is Bo Nix not looking good, yeah, but stop it with the rookie mess.

Speaker 1:

What's wrong with the rookie mess?

Speaker 2:

Deion, he damn near four. Stop it, Bro. Who's talking about Me and him?

Speaker 1:

the same age, bro, Like come on, bro you in college for about eight years.

Speaker 2:

Okay about taking two fathers, but for real you and him is damn near the same age I think I am close to Bo Nix's age. You ain't nothing like a year older than him. What are we talking about? He ain't no rookie. I get that. That's what they said Yo J McDaniel going to be the new norm. We don't talk about that? This summer too.

Speaker 1:

They ain't got to get a dress. But yeah, josh, this is a must win. If you lose to a Denver team, obviously they're a good team, but you can't lose. You got to make it to at least. I want to say he has to make it to at least. I want to say he has to make it to at least the conference championship game. But I think he's a two seed but you're probably going to go up against. I want to say he's probably going to go up against Lamar next round. So I can't say that too much, because that's not a bad loss.

Speaker 1:

Losing to the Baltimore Raiders in the second round, to Lamar not a bad loss. But you really should be making the conference finals. You need to get to the Super Bowl because your window is closing Not fast, but it's closing. You think so already. I mean you only got enough good talent. Eventually these people are going to graduate, as some people like to say, and go to different teams. You can't pay everybody. James Cook is going to want a new contract soon. Obviously you got some young receivers right now. Defense definitely they're going to want some new contracts. But well shit, I thought they was going to be down this year, so maybe I'm wrong again.

Speaker 2:

No, no, no. Can I tell you the one, the match, not an underrated match, but the match that I'm kind of like hey, I don't know who's going to win the Bucks and the Camandos, you don't know. I have no earthly idea who's going to win this football game. I could even lean towards to tell you who's going to win.

Speaker 1:

The only thing I can say is it's in Tampa, so I guess I can go with Tampa.

Speaker 2:

Like the Commandos, they don't. They have a struggle versus winning teams, but when you look at Tampa, do they feel like a winning team?

Speaker 1:

They are, but they don't. It's because they're in the. That's what I'm saying. Do you look? They're in the NFC South. The NFC South has been the worst division in what last six years, Even when Tom Brady was there.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I don't know, the NFC South got a the AFC South. You know they right there, both the Souths is a bad division Hell. The West was the Kansas City Invitational for a long time.

Speaker 1:

Still is.

Speaker 2:

I mean, but look though, they got two teams in the. They got both the Wildcats. The charge is in them, true, true. So we can't call it that no more. The writers almost beat Kansas City, I don't know. The Buccaneers was what? 10-7?, yeah, 10-7. And the Commanders was 12-5. And you would assume the Commanders would do it because they had a better record. But the Commanders' 12 wins was a bunch of teams, that's.

Speaker 1:

None of them made the playoffs.

Speaker 2:

None of them. At the playoffs, none of them. So I have no. But again, I look at the Buccaneers and I don't feel like I see a winning team. I feel like I see a team that tripped over their conference and got in. I don't really know who to pick. I don't know who's going to win that game.

Speaker 1:

I'm going with Tampa just because it's in Tampa. If it was in Washington, you were in Washington, I was in Washington, I feel it, I feel it. And then Green Bay, philadelphia is interesting because there's a lot of injuries. Jalen Hurts was in conduction protocol. He probably will play Louisville. Alum Jaria Alexander he's out for the season. That's very unfortunate. I don't know who they Are you sure that Jalen's going to play. I'm not sure, but from what I've heard he practiced today.

Speaker 2:

He practiced today.

Speaker 1:

Okay, he's training towards. Yeah, Jair Alexander is not playing cornerback for the Green Bay Packers, so I don't know who they're going to get to guard. Aj Brown, Good luck with that. Jordan Love is dealing with some injuries, but we will see. Hopefully they show up.

Speaker 2:

And they lost their. Receiver was Watson.

Speaker 1:

A lot of injuries. That's the injury game. Then is the game that's moved to Monday on Monday night moved to Arizona, which Sam Darnold going to show up, because Then, as the game is moved to Monday on Monday night, moved to Arizona, which Sam Darnold going to show up, Because that's a good point.

Speaker 2:

That's a good point.

Speaker 1:

Yep, and that's the question for that one. And then let's go back to the LA Chargers and Houston Texas. Houston Texas they look like they speaking of teams that's tripped their way into this game. They tripped their way into this game. Yeah, the Chargers is going to win. That I don't even know, by the way. I just want to say how petty Tennessee is. Every time they play the Texans, they pull out the Houston Oilers uniform. That's real petty y'all.

Speaker 2:

You won't. I got some shit I want to say about Tennessee. I was going to use this for my captain. I hate him. I'm fucking weird right now. Y'all fired the GEL Black man. Let's be real. There's a little juice in my bag because there's a black man. I ain't going to sit here. You know sugarcoating, but y'all fired the black man after two years. Now was his offseason signings the best and some of his draft picks the best? No, but after two years you fire him. What are we doing? So now you're going to bring in a new GM that's got to work with a coach that ain't his coach. So y'all about to go through another coach.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, you might as well fire the coach too. I don't agree with what it does, but if you're going to get rid of the GM, what you doing?

Speaker 2:

Because the GM getting out, because that's how it always works, the GM. The first thing he's going to do is button coach man, the coach, it ain't my guy. Yeah, let me bring in my guy. What are we doing Now? Firing J-Rob back when you know he traded AJ Brown. He should have got traded, he should have got fired then, but y'all waited until AJ Brown tore our ass up in the playoffs. Then y'all fired him. It was a bad trade to begin with. Y'all should have fired him before that. And he put us in a bunch of in a cap hole. Cool, carlton, carlton I forgot to pronounce the man's name. He come in. He get us out of the tax, out of the salary cap mess Still working on it, but getting us there. Made of the salary cap. That's still working on it, but getting us there Made some questionable signage.

Speaker 1:

I'm beating Jim. He's all Jim's do.

Speaker 2:

You know what I'm saying. He probably having real. I mean, I'm the one receiving money and I don't know why, but why I do not know. But you gotta give him time to progress and get time to show what he can do and build a franchise. The simple fact is, I think the only things we like one player away we, not we in a full rebuild what you doing? Why you out here fighting people? What you doing? Didn't you fight Bray Bull last year because him and Jim couldn't get along? It's a hype, it's a shit show down there right now.

Speaker 1:

Hopefully y'all figure it out, though we not. We'll be talking about y'all. All well, not all summer, but all the rest of the winter, because just I don't even know how to do that noise. Whatever that NFL draft noise is y'all on the clock, but we'll be talking about y'all. We got plenty of time to talk about that shit. Show down there. I don't want to talk about it. That was enough. It's cool though.

Speaker 1:

I got a Captain Hayden in the show. We'll talk about it here in a little bit. But drum roll please, Before we get to these playoff pick'ems. How did the NFL regular season pick'ems go?

Speaker 2:

56-55. Me taking the Panthers is what kept me ahead.

Speaker 1:

We both won five, wow so second year Q he takes the crown.

Speaker 2:

I took it for sure took it for sure, took it for sure. You stomped my ass out for sure. What you talking about.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, this year was a rough one, and my betting account tells me it was a rough one as well. But let's go ahead and get through these playoff pick-ems. Let's start out. You did it for us through the records. Let's go ahead and start out with Saturday first game LA Chargers and the Houston Texans I got to get some paper out.

Speaker 2:

I'm going to be out here ready. All right, I was not. I had the paper right here ready. All right, shit, I was not. I had the paper right here, but it wasn't there. All right, you said Chargers versus Texas who you going with?

Speaker 1:

I'm going with Chargers. Like I said, Texas, they slipped their way up into this playoff spot. They looked rough. They ready for Cancun.

Speaker 2:

really, you can tell A lot of them know, because they ready for Cancun. I bet I'm going to Georgia too because, like you said, come on man, let's stop it, all right. Steelers versus Ravens.

Speaker 1:

I'm nervous, but I can't pick against the Ravens.

Speaker 2:

All right bet. Yeah, I'm going to go Ravens as well. Yeah, I'm going to go Ravens as well. Yeah, I'm going to go Ravens as well. All right, broncos versus Bills.

Speaker 1:

I'm going to go Broncos. I'm going to go different. I'm going to go Broncos. Bills y'all better win though, but I don't know. I feel like an upset is going to happen. It's either going to be the Steelers over the Ravens or the Broncos over the Bills, and I'm going to go Broncos.

Speaker 2:

I'm going with the Bills because of what you said, man. The Bills better win, because if you don't win, it might be some people on the hot seat up there. All right, packers versus Eagles Eagles yeah, I think that was kind of easy. To be honest with you, I'm going to go with the Eagles as well, even though I would love to see the Packers winning, because I like Jordan Love. But nah, man, I ain't going to do it. Commanders versus Bucks Don't ask me. I already said, I do not know who to pick.

Speaker 1:

I'm only going with Bucks because it's in Tampa Bay.

Speaker 2:

I don't know, Shit, Shit, I'm going to go. Commandos, I don't really know. That's probably wrong. That's probably wrong. That's probably wrong. That's probably wrong. All right, last one Monday night Vikings versus Rams yeah again this game has been moved to Arizona.

Speaker 1:

I would usually make this a big deal and say, oh, they lose their home field advantage. That's not a home field advantage for LA anyways.

Speaker 2:

All right, but I'm going to go with the Vikings. Yeah, I'm going with the Vikings. Yeah, I'm going with the Vikings. I bet 30-ish.

Speaker 1:

That would do it for our playoff pick-ems. We'll come back to you with the divisional round next week, and we'll'll come back to you with the divisional round next week and we'll also come back to you with our reaction of the college football playoffs. Obviously, notre Dame's playing Penn State right now as we speak, as the game is tied 24-24 with 33 seconds left. Notre Dame just got a pick, so today looks like Notre Dame could probably be running down and kicking a field goal to win the game. But we'll talk about that next week, and we'll also talk about Texas versus Ohio State. Ohio State looks unstoppable. Again, we'll talk about that next week as well. So that'll do it for another episode of From my Perspective, I'm your boy, deion. Before I go with my Captain Hater, you got anything you're going to say? Q.

Speaker 2:

Nah, I'm just right here. It is what's going on. I got excited.

Speaker 1:

NFL. I'm sick of what y'all doing to these black coaches. Man, y'all did it to Jerrod Mayo. Antonio Pierce, houston did it to Jerrod Mayo. Antonio Pierce, houston did it twice In a row With Lovey Smith. And Was it Cutley Cutley? Yeah, something like that? Y'all did it twice. A bunch of other people, I'm sorry, I just Jerrod Mayo.

Speaker 1:

What y'all expect a man to do? One season, he get one season. Y'all gave a man to do one season, he get one season. Y'all gave him. He got a quarterback, looking promising. Y'all got a good pick. Y'all can get somebody good. Y'all mad he couldn't get y'all the number one pick. Is that what y'all mad for? Y'all talking about firing him for Mike Redwood. Mike Redwood was a good coach. But y'all had a good coach, bill Belichick, the greatest coach of all time. He didn't pick that man to be a successor. And now y'all just going to fire him after one season Patriots, y'all had it good. Y'all just act like y'all don't know how to lose. That's all. Y'all just act like y'all don't know how to lose. You got to lose to get good again. But I'm more mad about Antonio Pierce. Y'all gave that man nothing. That man that had me and Q out there at quarterback.

Speaker 2:

What you said.

Speaker 1:

Devontae Smith was out of there. Brock Bowers there was some problems with Brock Bowers. The defense they got Max Crosby so they showed problems. But the man y'all gave him nothing and y'all gonna fire him after one year. Man, y'all gave him nothing and y'all gonna fire him after one year. Man y'all doing him dirty. Hey black coaches, just make sure that that buyout money is hefty and they paying y'all to sit on y'all butt when they do fire y'all after one season, when you don't do a good job, when they give you crap. That's all I gotta say from my perspective.
