Speaker 1:

Welcome, welcome, welcome to an episode of, from Our Perspective, emergency Pod Edition. We're going to get past the introduction of your boy, dion Q. He's a friend of the show. He knows where the milk and cookies is at, so you know. Dq, he's here too, but Emergency Podcast, we have to get into it. Dq, he's here too, but a mercy podcast, we have to get into it. Last night, literally like 12 midnight, it wasn't a Woj bomb, shout out to Woj, it was a sham bomb. It was such a big bomb some people thought he was hacked or something. So go ahead and see it.

Speaker 1:

Lucadontis was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers for Anthony Davis. Full trade details here. It was three teams the Lakers, mavericks and the Utah Jazz. The Utah Jazz they get Jalen Hood, a clip of second-round pick and a Mavericks second-round pick. All right, get out the way. Jazz second-round pick and a Mavericks second-round pick. All right, get out the way Jazz. The Mavericks received Anthony Davis, max Christie and one Los Angeles Lakers first-round pick the one in 2019. The Lakers received Luka Dantas, maxi Kleba and Marquise Morris. Four trade details there. I got to ask you guys y'all reaction to probably the biggest trade in probably my lifetime. I don't know about you guys' lifetime, but I can say it's probably the biggest trade and the most shocking trade in my lifetime. I don't know who want to go first.

Speaker 2:

I'm a guest here, so I ain't really got much to say. It's y'all's show. I'm just guest here, so I ain't really got much to say. This is y'all's show. I'm just here. You get me All right, bro. But let me tell you I'm sitting there, went to go throw my food in the air fryer real quick because I was hungry. 11.55. Prep time five minutes is 12. Five more minutes 12.05.

Speaker 2:

I walk back in here. I said check the05. I walk back in here. I said you know, check the time. I swipe up Da-na-na, da-na-na. I look. I said oh, this ain't real, this can't be real. It said breaking news. I said nah, nah, nah, nah, nah. So you know, I hop right on the ESPN app, pull it up Davis. I said nah, nah, nah, nah, nah. So you know, I hop right on the ESPN app, pull it up Davis for Donchins, davis for Donchins. And I started thinking what are we doing? Like we overhauling the deck now? I mean we not, because the Lakers are still now. You got LeBron and, excuse me, now you got Luka and LeBron. Put some respect on that man.

Speaker 1:

They the same players for real.

Speaker 2:

Luka and the LeBrons excuse me, because there's two of them on there I don't. You couldn't give up anything else. You had to give up. I get it, but why would you do that?

Speaker 1:

Apparently to give a little context from what I've heard from the stories the Mavs called them. The Mavs wanted Anthony Davis. That's what they said. Alright, we want Anthony Davis. And they did some back channels. They didn't put Luka out there to be like, hey, he's on the block. They asked him. Apparently they asked one other team and they asked the Los Angeles Lakers and they specifically wanted Anthony Davis. Apparently, mavericks was sick of Luka being not in shape, probably dealing with his attitude. Apparently they wanted out of the Luka business what everyone keeps saying and they wanted Anthony Davis. They wanted defense. The GM Nico. His words defense wins championships. After this trade happened, it was his words.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, all right, cool, yeah, I mean, I get that. I do get that. All right, let me tell you a story. Let me tell you a story. A little story time, real quick.

Speaker 3:

I'm sitting on the couch, bro, looking in the cup I'm drinking. It's after I watch Royal Rumble. I'm over here chilling. I'm looking for a basketball game, looking for a little college basketball game, because it's Saturday night, they West Coast games, be all late. I Looking for a little college basketball game because it's Saturday night, west Coast games, be on late. I'm looking for a game to watch and I get the like quag. I get the notification Luca, for damn man, quit playing.

Speaker 3:

I sit up. I looked over. I said, hey, girl, I'm tripping, it's the liquor, it's the liquor, the liquor, making me think I read something that I did not read Because I know they didn't just trade Luka and Anthony Davis. It's the liquor, it's the liquor. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm going to sit back If I don't go off again. It's Twitter, it's the Shams thing, really. Nah, I heard. Let me back out, let me go to the sports center, because it was a sports center on right before another west coast game that was about to come on. Sports center breaking news luca for empty dates. I said all this shit's for real, so it ain't the liquor, I ain't drunk. They really, they really just traded him to bro. I thought I was drunk you know, you was drunk.

Speaker 2:

You, because you thought you didn't read it. You was drunk.

Speaker 3:

I'm thinking I'm sure, because it don't. I like kept saying was last night and today. This don't make no sense. This don't make no sense. I get a phone call my homeboy. He's over in Iraq right now. He's an Iraq guy, he's a big LeBron fan. He calls me.

Speaker 3:

By the time he called me at one o time by the time he calls me, it's 1 o'clock in the morning he said did we really just trade Anthony Davis? I said for Luka. I said yeah. He said why would they do that? Luka don't play no defense. Luka don't play no defense. I said I don't know man, it don't make no like I'm man. It don't make no sense. It don't make no sense. But that's what's happening. I thought I was drunk. I told him the same thing. I thought I was drunk, but this is really what happened.

Speaker 2:

It don't make sense for the Lakers, it don't make sense for nobody else, it don't make no sense for the Lakers either.

Speaker 1:

It don't make sense for the Lakers. The Lakers, basically, what they did with this one is basically punting. They're done with the LeBron era. This is a future thing. When LeBron is gone, luka is your show. That's basically what I felt like For the Mavs. They are still. I don't expect them to make the finals, but they are still a championship-containing team. They still have Anthony Davis. They have an older Kyrie Irving and Klay Thompson. They'll be much better defensively.

Speaker 1:

But, you gave away your franchise, your 25-year-old franchise, for a when I thought, when I was I'll tell the story in a little bit but basically when I was thinking about it, they shortened their window just because they didn't want to have Luka Doncic on the roster. That window is still open, but they shortened that window. With a 25-year-old Luka, your window is open for a while, until he's at least the way he plays. 37, 38, because he's not predicated on his athleticism, they shorten that window. Anthony Davis is what? 31? 31. Always hurt Kyrie Irving. He's like 32, 33, something like that. Again, always hurt Clay Thompson. He's not Clay Thompson.

Speaker 3:

I was going to say, because you put that O in front of Kyrie, you should have put that O in front of Kyrie. You should have put that all them O's in front of Klay, because it's showing with Klay.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah so, but it it doesn't make sense for each team like the Lakers, they're just you can tell they're probably going to punt on the season unless they get a big. They're probably going to punt on the burn and retire. Did you guys do no?

Speaker 3:

No, you knew somebody else was going to have to come in to go pair with Anthony Davis. But Anthony Davis, to give him credit, he's been healthy the past, this year and last year, true, so we got to be fair to him from that perspective. He has been healthy lately. I say it don't make no sense. This is why I keep saying the trade just doesn't make sense. Lebron and Luka is basically the same player. The matter is the fact that LeBron used to play defense. Now they are the same player.

Speaker 1:

LeBron is more athletic. That's really all it is.

Speaker 2:

That's the play. The play is when LeBron gets tired. Okay, luka, you take over LeBron. You stand over there and rest. You might hit a three, they'll leave you open. You'll hit a spot up three, but Luka take over, you know, when he gets tired. That's the play. They trying to run what they running with it was the Kyrie-LeBron show, now they're trying to run. It was Kyrie-Luka, now they're trying to run the Luka-LeBron.

Speaker 3:

First of all, I think Kyrie accepted that he could be number two by the time he got to Luka. He didn't accept it with LeBron, but he accepted it by the time he got to Luka. I don't think Luka or LeBron is accepting the fact that they're number two. Lebron talks that talk like I want Anthony Davis to take over and be the one which he does. He also often reads his off, but I just don't see how it's going to match well.

Speaker 1:

I just don't, I don't see it working.

Speaker 2:

They don't have nothing else on their team. That's how it's going to mesh.

Speaker 3:

That's what I'm saying, bro. They're going to have the same problem. Where the Mavs played a little bit of defense, the Lakers is not going to play defense at all, because the only defense they really had was Anthony Davis. Now there's no defense whatsoever, because Austin Reed don't play no defense, luka don't play no defense, lebron plays defense one out of every 13 plays.

Speaker 2:

Yep, they gonna try to run you to death.

Speaker 1:

I just don't see it working out for the short term.

Speaker 3:

This trade makes sense, if you trade LeBron at some point. Oh yeah, that would have been nice If you're trading LeBron and LeBron's saying I want out, this trade makes more sense.

Speaker 2:

Where would he go, though? That's the thing for him.

Speaker 3:

I was trying to think of that last night. Where would LeBron go? The only place I can think of is Golden State.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I mean, that's the only place that he could he probably would want to go to. He has a no-trade clause. He's going to go to where he wants to go anyway, sure. He's going to go to where he wants to go anyway, sure.

Speaker 2:

Go ahead. I was about to say, I mean I personally I didn't know Luka was available. I mean this was news to me. He wasn't.

Speaker 1:

He wasn't Like you said the most. It was back channels. It was back channels.

Speaker 2:

The most shocking trade I've ever seen. I think, Let me think, Hold on. Yeah, no, this might be. It ain't necessarily the biggest, but it's definitely the most shocking.

Speaker 1:

All right, so let me go ahead and tell my story on how I found out.

Speaker 1:

I ain't gonna lie, I was dead to sleep. Royal Rumble went off. We'll talk about that. On Thursday Royal Rumble went off. I was licking up, I was like I'm tired, went straight to sleep Pretty much right after the Royal Rumble went off. I wake up at like 2 something. I look at my phone. I see I got an attachment from Q he probably something about Royal Rumble. I scroll a little bit. I see I got a Bleacher Report notification. It said Luca did not request a trade. I was like it must have been some rumors about Luca. 1 now, whatever, I put my phone back down, I'm just laying there.

Speaker 1:

Sometimes at night when you wake up you struggle to go back to sleep. I was like I'm struggling to go back to sleep. So I pick my phone back up. I click on a Q message. I look, rub my eyes. I'm like what? Nah, that ain't right, that ain't right. I scroll on Twitter Let me go back to sleep, let me go back to sleep. So I attempted to go back to sleep, let me go back to sleep. So I attempted to go back to sleep again. Couldn't try about five minutes. So I was like all right, let me look at it. Let me look at this one more time to make sure I saw what I saw and I saw what I saw.

Speaker 1:

Luka Don just got traded for Anthony Davis. So from that point forward I'm on my phone. For about the next hour I was trying to see what the hell is going on. I text Q I think he was asleep by then because this was like 3 o'clock at this point I was just up scrolling, looking, texting Q. He didn't text back because he was asleep, but I just admitted I was dead to sleep when this thing dropped. But, like I said, apparently the Mavs did back channels. They zeroed in on Anthony Davis. I got to ask you guys, before we move on to another trade that has happened, but we'll talk a little bit about it since we're here what do y'all think the Mavs could have gotten if they put it out to the NBA? Hey, luka's up for sale, because there was some people out there saying they could have got the biggest haul in NBA history.

Speaker 2:

I ain't going to hold you if you do. Okay. I ain't going to say the biggest haul, I'm going to tell you who should have tried to go get them. I'm going to say the biggest haul, I'm gonna tell you who should've tried to go get him.

Speaker 1:

I'm gonna say the Bucks, honestly, should've tried to package up Lillard and go get him they would have dropped a lot of first round picks, but they probably wouldn't make that work yeah, you worry about the Bucs or, honestly, the Celtics, just to hold the Lakers one more time yeah, you would have gave up Jalen, which ain't that's really not a bad trade, luca for Jalen and secure your future over.

Speaker 2:

That's really not a bad trade, not at all. Luka for Jalen and Shaquille Yo future over there Because, like you said, Andy Davis is 31.

Speaker 3:

Jalen's 27, 28. He younger than Anthony.

Speaker 2:

You ain't taking If you buy him.

Speaker 3:

A made man. Yeah yeah, hammock, I read who him I read together. Oh, that locker room would have been wild Because they be on the same stuff Him two on the same stuff that locker room would have been wild. So, if I'm the Mavs here's the thing, though If you the Mavs, you don't open it up, because then it's going to get. It's going to turn into a Jimmy Butler situation, where Luka's going to be complaining and wowing and shit like that. What?

Speaker 2:

you mean.

Speaker 1:

So I mean Luka's already. They already have had issues with him. I mean they could just be like hey, luka's on the trade block and they could have got so many crazy offers.

Speaker 3:

True, but it's like the De'Aaron Fox situation. Everybody knew De'Aaron Fox kind of wanted out, but Gene, he really wanted to go to San Antonio. Yeah, true, cool, and then it's going to come to where Luka really wants to go. Then these other teams, these D's, and then Luka has the potential which he lost like $120 million, something million dollars when he got traded to the Lakers because he can't get re-signed by Dallas.

Speaker 1:

I'll tell you exactly how much it is in a sec, because I was looking at that. I was looking at my stomach.

Speaker 2:

My bad, joe, my bad. I didn't mean to laugh. I just saw the Max Christie interview. It's his last Laker interview. Why they took his name tag off during the interview, off his locker Hell, for real. Yeah, I don't think they talking about him being traded, this is just him. After the game. He had a pretty good game.

Speaker 1:

Alright, so Luka lost $117 million $117 million, $117 million.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, because the only person who could pay him that was Dallas. Now he got traded. The Lakers can't pay that. He was going to sign the richest contract in NBA history. Now he's down to like $2. $270, $280?.

Speaker 1:

With the Lakers he's going to get. The highest he can get is $229 million for five years. If he was still with the Mavs, he could have signed a 346 million five-year deal. I ain't going to lie just off. Personal 117 mils, nico, you ought to see me 117?.

Speaker 3:

And that's the thing. If they hadn't been shopping him around, luka would have been like, nah, nobody's going to trade for him, because he's going to be like don't re-sign me, because he's going to want to try to stay in Dallas so he can get their money, so then he can get a signed trade at the summertime. He's not right now. Nah, I think it would have been. Yes, they could have got Halsman, they could have got a bunch of first-round picks and they could have figured a bunch of stuff out. The fact that they only got one of the Lakers' first-round picks is still kind of crazy to me. But let's get real how bad the Lakers is going to be when you got Hooker.

Speaker 2:

That's all they had. The Lakers they got another one. They got another one.

Speaker 3:

They got only got two, as where all these other teams got one, for you know they only had two. But I think if you open it up it's going to get crazy. Here's the other thing. Speaking of Nico, I want to touch on Nico real quick. If y'all don't at least make it to the Western Conference finals within the next two, three years, you got to get far no they got to get back to the finals.

Speaker 2:

Y'all got to get far. No, they got to get back to the finals. Y'all got to get right back. Okay, at least at Western Conference at the latest, but y'all got to get back.

Speaker 3:

He got to get far. If he don't make it, I'll give him two years, maybe three, but you got to get back, because if you don't get back you made a horrible decision.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, there's people already telling it. They was outside the American Airlines Arena telling them to sell the team. That's how fired up them Maverick fans are.

Speaker 3:

And now you, publicly, now you traded Luke for Anthony Davis. Now Anthony Davis is public enemy number one. So if the minute Anthony, anthony Davis can't do no wrong in Dallas, because he's going to get so much hate and ridicule, because y'all traded him for the future Luka, was the face of Dallas.

Speaker 1:

He was the face of the city.

Speaker 3:

They had just released an Instagram and Facebook video earlier that day talking about you know something about Texas. They just was promoting Luka early in the day. Whoever was on the PR definitely didn't know this was coming.

Speaker 1:

No, definitely should know by then, but we'll definitely talk more about this Thursday when more comes out. Me and Q probably got a pretty big episode coming this Thursday. But before we get out of here, one more trade came down the pipeline. You got to pat me and Q on the back. We somewhat called it the Spurs did trade for De'Aaron Fox and Jordan McLaughlin. Me and Q basically said De'Aaron Fox would be a nice pickup for the Spurs and it worked. Q had a different three-team trade idea.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, it didn't work out for him.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it didn't fully work out for him, but he only got it somewhat right. The Kings did get I think it's another thing Q Zach Levine. Yeah, the Kings did get Zach Levine. They got Sid Casisco, three first-round picks, two second-round picks. So the Kings are sitting pretty nice. Looks like they're in for pretty much a rebuild at this point somewhat. The Bulls they get Kevin Hooter just a shooter Trey Jones, zach Collins and the 20-25 pick from the Spurs. So what was your thoughts on this trade DQ? I know you saw it come down the pipeline.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I mean, I ain't going to hold you. I'm not really hyped into the NBA lore right now. You feel me, I watch my Knicks, but that's about it. This obviously makes sense, though. This is a good move. You get a two-for-one special with Chris Paul, you get him teaching De'Aaron Fox the way, and then you also get you know Lob City Jr. I mean, I don't know what their record looking like right now, but man, the Spurs is bad.

Speaker 1:

We talked about it.

Speaker 2:

What? 18-18 or some shit.

Speaker 1:

They're 12th in the West. They're outspoken to play.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, they are right now the Spurs is 21-25.

Speaker 2:

Okay, yeah, close enough. I was less than 500. I was being generous, you know, giving them 500, but I feel it, Nah.

Speaker 3:

You was a nice guy with it. I feel it, Nah. I'm suspected One more piece will help it. Yeah, I'm going to go back to, I think, three. Well, let me say this we knew De'Aaron Fox was going to end up on San Antonio. It was just a way of how it was going to happen. Chicago wanted to get off of Zach Levine's contract for two years. At this point they finally was able to get off of him, since they got him.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, Like I said, since they signed him to that deal they've been makes it. It makes sense in the sense of Sacramento. We got all these first-round picks so we can still build for the future.

Speaker 1:

It is crazy he did is going back to Sacramento. He's going back to Sacramento.

Speaker 3:

You get all these first-round picks so we can build for the future, but we also still we also going to be good enough with Zach Levine, DeMar DeRozan. It's a bonus to the fact that we're we still can. We're still going to flirt around the play. Yeah, Like I said, the Bulls got off the contract. That's how it happened.

Speaker 1:

I think that solidifies that. It's a bonus to his team. It's a bonus to his team. It's a bonus to get the backpack ready. It's your team, you got to carry it. To me, though, de'aaron Fox to the center of the Spurs is a big, big deal. That Fox and Wimby pick and roll could be nasty for years to come. I'm looking forward to it. I think the Spurs is probably one more piece away. One more piece away Probably won't get it this year, but again, chris Paul teaching De'Aaron Fox his ways they one more piece away. So, chris Paul, tjd and Fox's ways they're one more piece away. So Spurs could be dangerous here in a couple years.

Speaker 3:

And that's the thing with the Spurs. They was able to keep Fox, I mean, they was able to keep Chris Paul, and they was able to keep Harrison Barnes, yep. So they was able to keep their veterans in the fold without giving up too many of their young players. So they still got a roster to build upon in the future.

Speaker 1:

Yep, Nice little trade. We like to meet and queue. We saw something like this happening. Next step is Jimmy Butler. He's going somewhere. There's no way he's going to be in a Miami Heat uniform after Thursday. I'll be shocked. One more question. Obviously, we'll be shocked. One more question. Obviously, we'll worry about Jimmy Butler when we get there. But I got to ask this question because it's been floating around to you guys. If you was a GM, of all the NBA players in the league, who would you perceive as untouchable? Because right now people are saying ain't nobody untouchable if Luka can get traded?

Speaker 3:

Giannis Wimby Joker. I think that's it. I really do think that's it.

Speaker 2:

Tatum and Steph.

Speaker 3:

Nah, I think Tatum, Depending on who it is. I think Tatum, Depending on who it is. I think Tatum get gone too.

Speaker 2:

Tatum for Luka would have been the thing, but I don't see that at all. That's the thing. That's why you give up Jalen Brown.

Speaker 3:

Steph, of course. Okay, LeBron and Bradley be up, but they only untouchable because they got no trade clauses. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So you got to ask them if they okay going somewhere.

Speaker 1:

Bradley Bill, having no trade clauses is still crazy to me yeah, his agent, he need to put his sweater vest in the rafters All the same Because what in the world?

Speaker 3:

But yeah, no, wimby, wimby, giannis Joker Stealth LeBron and Bradley just because they got no trade calls.

Speaker 2:

What about KD?

Speaker 1:

He can get traded in the hard.

Speaker 2:

I'm saying, but you still.

Speaker 3:

I feel like yeah, I would say KD, Maybe you got to ask him. You got to ask him first. Yeah, I would say KD, maybe you got to ask him.

Speaker 2:

You got to ask him first. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3:

KD will be in that conversation at least, like we're talking, at least I'm going to come to you and talk to you about it. Luka didn't even get talked to about it.

Speaker 1:

No. Luka just I bet you in that next contract he going to put a no trade clause in that thing.

Speaker 3:

Bruh, KD was on the bitch. That's the crazy thing. Kd was on the bitch when the Luka trade came through.

Speaker 2:

Oh, I saw that.

Speaker 3:

They was watching the Bruh. He said some kid yelled out Luka just got traded. Kd said no, he didn't. He said yeah, he did. So KD took the phone and was like it was him Voice O'Neal Bradley, bill, all sitting next to each other. They all looked at each Bradley said I'm glad I got this.

Speaker 2:

I'm glad I got the trade.

Speaker 1:

That's a gold trade, because he probably would have been going to FINA. It would have been him.

Speaker 2:

Oh, definitely I would have been like man I give you Bradley Beal, I give you you can get Royce O'Neal too for real.

Speaker 3:

I didn't need somebody to play defense.

Speaker 1:

Nah, I'm not going to say that From all those players that you've named, I think the one player that is truly, truly untouchable like. They don't have a no trade clause and if you even call their phone and even mention they first letter of their name, you get hung up on them. I think it's Victor Wimby. If you call and send them to his personal number, you mention anything that starts with a V, they'll probably hang up on you.

Speaker 2:

No doubt.

Speaker 1:

I think that's the one that I'm confident Everybody else.

Speaker 3:

I'm sure they can, I'm sure they won't but after today, man, you never know. I think Jokers move. I think Jokers move. I think Steph is there because of the fact of who he is for that organization.

Speaker 1:

They're not going to just trade him. Yeah, yeah, but.

Speaker 2:

I'm saying, though, if they'd have called, okay, I got Luka for you, would the Warriors have done that? I think you kind of got to.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I mean it would reset the franchise because, I mean, steph was older. But I would think about it because apparently that's what the Lakers did.

Speaker 2:

The Lakers they got the call. Yeah, they got the call. They got the call from Dallas.

Speaker 1:

They was like look for Anthony Davis. They probably asked him like are you for real?

Speaker 3:

No, he did. Rob Palika came by and said. He said are you joking? And I was like, no, I'm serious. Rob said, oh.

Speaker 1:

Let me think, let me talk it over with the brass.

Speaker 2:

You know that was Jason Kidd. Y'all know who that was. That was Jason Kidd. I think Jason Kidd always look. He want to be GM, he want to be coach, he Jackie Moon.

Speaker 1:

Apparently he didn't know about it.

Speaker 2:

Alleged.

Speaker 1:

Apparently. He said he found that when everybody else did man, you get that fat ass, get that fat ass White boy out of here.

Speaker 2:

Man, I know that's what he said Get that fat ass White boy out.

Speaker 3:

That's not what he said. Chill, chill, chill. That's not what he said, but chill, chill, chill.

Speaker 2:

He's black. I know he said it Chill, chill. Nah, this ain't that type of show. My bad, my bad.

Speaker 3:

Hey bro. Hey bro, that was a G-E-M-L.

Speaker 2:

I don't know, man. This sounds like a team that Jason Kidd he's crafting, a team that he wants is what it sounds like? It's what it look like. At least, Maybe not sound like it. It look like it.

Speaker 3:

Nah, if you just kid, you want to keep looking because you got to keep your job.

Speaker 2:

You don't get along with Luka, though.

Speaker 1:

You got to keep your job, you going to keep your bag.

Speaker 3:

He got a bunch of coaching jobs. He probably on his last leg.

Speaker 2:

I mean, I don't know about his last leg, but you might be right, because Mark Cuban gone so he might be on the way out. They might be going in a totally different direction.

Speaker 3:

Mark wouldn't have never let this turn happen. I'm going to end it on that To the grave Never would have let this happen.

Speaker 2:

Luka's a lifer, no matter what. Whatever, you need my boy.

Speaker 3:

Mark ain't never letting it happen.

Speaker 2:

Mark would have went and got LeBron. What do you mean?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, before we get out of here, me and Q we did the team record point system. We're about half or two seasons. We're real close to the All-Star game, so Q's gonna let us know where we stand at because, honestly, I do not know. I've been keeping up with the records that much.

Speaker 3:

Cool Total win draft. You know, quag, what we did was 30 teams, we both took 15 and at the end of the year, whoever got the most wins with the teams that they drafted is the winner. The reason that I decided to bring this up today is because on Thursday Thursday we're going to talk about something where Deion beat me in, so I just wanted to point out that I beat him in this as of right now. Currently the record is I got 381. Deion got 343.

Speaker 1:

Damn, I got some work to do. My teams, I got to pick it up, y'all got to pick it up, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3:

Who did y'all take with y'all first pick? He took Boston. I took Oklahoma City. I see that His fourth pick is what's killing him. He took the New Orleans Pelicans. Yeah, I thought that was going to be better. I thought that was going to be better.

Speaker 1:

They're not playing Zion on back-to-backs. That's hurting.

Speaker 3:

Murray is out for the season.

Speaker 1:

He just tore his Achilles. That's a killer.

Speaker 2:

I know y'all going to talk about this on Thursday. What's up with the WWE? And they got Speed running around here getting superplexed and whatnot.

Speaker 1:

I actually enjoyed that, but we'll talk about it Thursday.

Speaker 3:

I think the Speed they WWE's playing some. They playing it now better than they ever did with Undervision man Bring, bring in playing some. They're playing it now better than they ever did with under Vince McMahon Bring, bring in some celebrities. Put them in the right position to win, not just for everybody to win, not just bring the men, vince, just bring the men to try to throw them in somewhere. Triple H is really bringing the men and figuring out the right places to put them and you gotta think a lot of these people that's coming. It's like our era. They grew up on the Attitude Era, they grew up on the Rock and Stone Code and all of that.

Speaker 1:

He was live streaming the whole thing. You know he gets millions of views when he's live streaming. That's more eyeballs for WWE. It's a win-win.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's a win-win. I didn't know that's a win-win. I just didn't know that's what it was. I just got on Twitter real quick and I just see them. He literally got speared into oblivion. I said, oh man poor.

Speaker 1:

Speed. He was live streaming, he was also there, he was also live streaming. So that's crazy.

Speaker 2:

I mean, I guess you can't stop it. That's their condition to be there.

Speaker 1:

They wanted them to be there. They told them come and live stream backstage.

Speaker 3:

It's a crossover effect. Grow our audience through your audience. They got Sharp Scott walking down here smoking weed on the Netflix, thank you. Wwe is moving in. Like I said, they're doing stuff that Vince would have never done. Triple H On the Netflix, thank you. Wwe's moving in. Like I said, they're doing stuff that Vince would have never done. Triple H is open to it. Triple H is popping up at Travis Scott's concert. He's bringing him to the championship. They're saying, hey, man, come on down to the premiere, not preview the premiere. I mean, I see they got.

Speaker 2:

John back. I see they got RKO back. Hey, definitely get him back. I see they got RKO back.

Speaker 1:

Hey, definitely get him back. I don't know what you saw what?

Speaker 3:

do you mean he's back? Okay, he's back. He is back, but he's out hurt again.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I know he ain't wrestling. I'm saying he back in the fold though.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1:

He'll be back wrestling by WrestleMania. He'd be wrestling again, yeah, but that'll do it for this episode, this emergency episode from our perspective. Luka Doncic got traded I still can't believe it for Anthony Davis DQ. You got anything you want to say before we get out of here? I know you, you know Big time, big time. Anything you want to promote, say.
