Speaker 1:

Welcome, welcome, welcome back to another episode of From Our Perspective, I'm your boy Deion, coming to you. You know, I'm always joined by the man, the myth, the legend, captain Hate Himself. Q How's it going today? Q May I know the best, your boy.

Speaker 2:

Mr Bell, aka Mike, I thought your name was on the spot. Might not put you to mine. What's going on, Deion?

Speaker 1:

Nothing, much, nothing much. I would like an all-star break, like the NBA players get a nice little all-star break, but because they don't be doing nothing for real but it is what it is.

Speaker 2:

I started to hit you like yo. It's a slow week. If you won't take it all we'll take it all.

Speaker 1:

It is a slow week, but we did have the NBA All-Star Break Field Challenge. Honestly, I ain't even going to lie to y'all. I don't know who won it. Only thing I know is that Chris Paul and Wimby tried to cheat. I don't know that. The three-point contest Tyler Hero won it. Shout out to Tyler Hero, even though he went to that school in blue.

Speaker 2:

Right, I'm trying to figure out why we shouting him out.

Speaker 1:

He won something. Just congratulations to him.

Speaker 2:

My bet is never, and I'm sorry.

Speaker 1:

And Matt McClung. He three-peated the only person to three-peat in the last couple weeks. So the Chiefs couldn't do it. Damian Lilley couldn't do it in a three-point contest and Michael Cohen did it in the dunk contest. He had a pretty good dunk contest. He went 50s across the board. All the dunks was impressive. The man got some lift. I really don't want to talk about that before we get to the game, but during the dunk contest, john Morant tweeted out he might do it. Zach LaVan tweeted out he might do it. Zach Levine tweeted out he might come and do it. Giannis tweeted out he could do it. Denny said nah, I got hacked. Aaron Gordon tweeted out some stuff. My question to you Q is do you believe any of them?

Speaker 2:

Aaron Gordon, Aaron Gordon, Zach Levine and John Morant. I do believe. I think, okay, I believe Giannis actually tweeted that out Brooding gag Like stop it, Stop it. But I don't think he would, Because I think some people probably got into here and be like nah, bro, it's not for you. But I think he should do it Nice, I think he should do it Nice, I think he should. I think John really would do it. I do believe John would do it.

Speaker 1:

I would like to see John. I would like to see Ant-Man. My dream is John, ant-man, mack McClellan, because I mean, he's solidified. Funny thing I saw is he's made more money winning the dunk contest than he's had in his NBA career, which is crazy. And, like you said last week, put that man on the roster, make him the 12th man, give him some NBA money.

Speaker 2:

Here's my thing, though, If I don't know who's going to be here, but I'm going to go ahead and say this I think they should just have four participants and cut it down to like two rounds and then that third round, whoever won, go against Max McClone, Because from my perspective, he earned his. Like we know what he can do, right, Like we know what he can do. Y'all need to figure out. If y'all own my level. Now, if it's not Zag Levine, they all on his level. So if it's not them two, if it's other people, then I think they should earn their opportunity. Like he the final boss, like the Rock was trying to portray for a little bit. He's the final boss when it comes to the dunk contest right now. He made the final boss when it comes to the dunk contest right now. He made the dunk contest something worth watching. Yeah, he did, and we only watched it because of him.

Speaker 1:

I'm going to give a little credit to Max Christie for the San Antonio Spurs. He did pretty good, but she was going up against the Jordan of the dunk contest at the time. Sorry, Sorry, Mr Christie. While I'm talking about the Spurs, a quick little thing. Victor Wimbayama looks like he's out for the season. Got a blood clock in his shoulder. Wish him the best of luck. Very upset about that, Literally. When I got home I turned on my TV. I saw the Spurs was playing. I got excited. Then I got unexcited because I remembered Victor Wimbayama is out for the season, so praying for a speedy recovery.

Speaker 1:

People are saying that they might get that number one overall pick and get Cooper Flag now, which would be cheating.

Speaker 2:

They're not that big, so I wouldn't.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, but let's go ahead and move past that. Let's just go ahead and talk about the all-star game in general. Well, it was actually games, pretty much a tournament style game in general. Well, it was actually games, pretty much a tournament style. Draymond Green pretty much said this is trash, we shouldn't do it. I do agree with him on one point the rookies. They shouldn't have been out there. Well, rookies, sophomores, they shouldn't have been out there. But I will say something about that. But they shouldn't have been out there. They didn't earn it.

Speaker 1:

Sunday is supposed to be for the all-stars. Again, dre McGrean, it's your fault, though it's your error's fault, why they're doing that. In terms of the games, I like Kenny, shaq and Chuck. They drafted pretty well and did it away Young stars, ogs, and then you had the Global Stars. Global Stars beat the Young Stars, the OGs beat the rookies. Those, the first-round games, was pretty good. I really enjoyed the OGs versus the rookies. It was interesting because you wanted to see if the rookies could pull off the impossible. They gave them a fight and man them OGs. Like Kendrick Perkins said, they was moving them puppies down there. They was sliding, they was not trying to lose that game. Then it got to the finals and then it just it was over.

Speaker 1:

Young OGs got a nice little lead and then it was back to their normal all-star bull BS. So it wasn't exciting. Before I give you your thoughts, I want to give you because I know you didn't watch it, but I want to give you something that I saw and that I noticed.

Speaker 2:

I was too busy watching Louisville play. You know what I'm saying?

Speaker 1:

I don't know I was dual TVing it dual TVing it didn't like it. I was dual TVing it Dual TVing. It Didn't like it, but I was watching it and I noticed it while I was watching it. But I'm just going to put it in numbers for you.

Speaker 1:

In the three-hour All-Star game, in the minute breakdown, there was actually 42 minutes of actual basketball played in the three hours. Let's break it down. Intro with ass 30 minutes. Pre-game talk 10 minutes. Game one Kitty versus Chuck just 12 minutes. Mr Beast, he had a little challenge, gave away some money. Five minutes. Game two the OGs versus the Rizal Stars 16 minutes. There was a music performance. That was six minutes. They did a tribute for Inside the NBA. That was nine minutes. Game three, the final game, the finals was 14 minutes. Post game was six minutes and they did some more analyst stuff 22 minutes. So 80 minutes for just 42 minutes of total basketball playing with Steph Curry as the all-star MVP. It was in San Francisco, it was in the Bay, so shout out to him. Yeah, he won it with 12 points. Yeah, it was ridiculous. So, after telling you about it, reading all that stuff, what are your thoughts? And do you agree with what Kevin Durant tweeted out a couple days ago Pretty much said he thinks you should cancel the All-Star game.

Speaker 2:

Okay, cool. No, you should not cancel. It's a money grab. The NBA needs that money. Let's call it a spade and spade. They need that break. Here's my thing with it, though.

Speaker 2:

Yes, the Draymond Green we call him the Draymond Green generation, but let's be real, the LeBron James generation yeah Well, lebron KD, steph Curry generation. They don't play as hard as we would want them. The problem is the media. The media points it out, the players point it out, so then it makes us fans point it out. Everybody's pointing out that the All-Star game is bad. Also, the commissioner pointed out it as well. Adam Silver pointed out as well that it's bad.

Speaker 2:

They scored 200, which they was. They scored 200 points. It was like 201-something. It shouldn't be like that. It should be some sort of defense. Jerry Montgomery said the young dudes shouldn't beat her, but the young dudes is what made them OGs play a little harder, because you didn't want to get beat to the rookies and the sophomores, which I didn't watch. So I watched the rookies and sophomores challenge. I didn't watch all-star, but I did watch Friday nights. I watched the rookies in sophomore challenge. I didn't watch all-star, but I did watch Friday nights. I watched the celebrity game a little bit, but then I got locked in with the rookies in sophomore.

Speaker 2:

So you know honestly I wanted to see who's up next. That's what I wanted to see is like, who's the potential breakout stars? I think it's the Thompson Twins. It's going to be in real, but back to the all-Star game in general, if the media and the players quit pointing it out, well, it's too late now, because all of us can't see it. We see that there's a problem, so it's too late now, but now they got to attempt to fix it. I got some thoughts, matt, if I share my thoughts.

Speaker 1:

Go ahead, share your thoughts. Man, what you got, okay? Mission to Q.

Speaker 2:

Alright, so we're looking at the NHL right now and they got this four countries, I think it's called four countries.

Speaker 1:

Four nations, four nations, it's taking over ESPN.

Speaker 2:

Espn has a contract with hockey and they talk about hockey in like block D or block E you know what I'm saying Like they don't even really talk about it, but it's on. But now this, this four nations, is popular, it's got hockey in. I was going to watch the game of the day but I was like damn, I got a pie, so I started doing other stuff. So I think what I think the NBA should do is let's try this out, Even though I know the commissioner tried that first and the players rejected it. The report says the American players rejected it because they didn't want to lose to the foreigners. But hey, man.

Speaker 1:

More reason to do it for real.

Speaker 2:

Exactly so. I came up with basically a four nations for the NBA. But hey, man, more reason to do it for real. Exactly so I came up with basically a four nations for the NBA. Right, and my first. I'm going to read you these teams real quick. I'm going to try to be quick and read you all these names. I'm not going to read the American people.

Speaker 2:

Y'all can just pick whoever y'all want. I got Asia and Western Europe, and I got Asia and Western Europe, and then I got an Eastern Europe and Africa team, and then I got a Canadian team, a Canadian and Central America team, and then, of course, there would be a USA team, cool East Europe, slash Africa, which is basically Korea and Africa. Rudy Victor Bilal I can't say his name Kabal, alex Saad, which is the number one pick. Zachary Richer. Isaiah Hartenstein, which is from Germany. Franz Wagner, his twin well, not his twin, his brother. They would have Giannis. Then we go into Africa. They would have Pascal Siakam, joel Embiid, jonathan Kamika Atuon, josh Okoji and then OG Ananoboli, because he's from Great Britain.

Speaker 2:

Cool West Europe and Slash Asia. Okay, porzingis, damanis, abodis, steve Adams, joker. Luka Shang-Goon that plays for Houston. Nikola Jovic that plays for Miami Bardinati I pronounce his name wrong but Rui Hachimora, josh Giddy, josh Green in Lowry Marketing Okay, I like that team. Lowry Marketing probably should have been on East Europe, but they needed some wings, so I put them on East Europe. And then I gave these people a point guard besides Luka, by the man in the name of Kyrie Irving, because he was actually born in Australia.

Speaker 1:

He was he was.

Speaker 2:

And he's also talking about playing for the Australian National Team. Cool, I'm going to give y'all this Canadian slash Central American team, which is mostly Central America, but Jamal Murray, Andrew Wiggins, Dylan Brooks, Shea Zach Eady, Ben Mather, in their place for the Indiana Pacers, RJ Barrett, Shaden Sharp, Buddy Hill, DeAndre Ayton. Lou Dork plays for Canada, but Shaden Sharp, Buddy Hill, DeAndre Ayton all are Central American. And then I also added Carl Anthony Townsend to his place for the Dominican Republic in the Olympics. So I'll say you take them four teams and you come up with your American team, your Stephs, your KDs, your Jaws, your Ants you know what I'm saying. You tighten them to your brain, Cool, and you have them go up against these teams. I don't think you do it every year, though. I think you do it every other, and, Okay, I think you do it like every other. And then you go back to East and West.

Speaker 1:

Okay, so I like that. I like that. So I know people have been tossing that around doing four nations, and when people were starting to toss it around, my first thought was like what if one nation doesn't have any all-stars? But then it hit me it's like they announced the All-Stars but to be like we're just going to announce a team separate. My other issue is injuries. Again, lebron, he backed out last minute. Joel Embiid he probably wouldn't have played. Luka was no, he just got back. But I can see a team, a nation, getting their, their team together and then they losing a lot of players and backing out and causing maybe a DQ. Those are my issues, but I do like it. I think they're just going to go back to east and west and try it again, but I do think there's a good chance that they might cancel the game altogether and they just do the no, they ain't canceling that game.

Speaker 2:

They ain't not going cast that guy Too much money in it. They ain't gonna never Cast that guy. It's way. It's way too much money.

Speaker 1:

So but yeah, I do like that Four Nations. We'll see if it ever happens. Adam Silver, you got some work to do, man, and I just Cause. I just know David Stern he would've had this thing Down packed, but yeah, he.

Speaker 2:

True, but he also dealt with different players. That's the other issue. He dealt with different players who wanted to continue to grow the game. I also think real quick, the one-on-one tournament. I like that. I think they got to split it up with guards versus big if they're going to do it, but I think that should be. I think that should be either part of Friday night or Saturday night. I think it should be Friday night and you move the celebrity all-star game to Saturday, because ain't nobody really.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, you're right. Before we move on to the next segment speaking you talked about, it, seems like these NBA players seem like they're a little out of control. They feel like they've been running the owners, the Mavericks. They did a little bit to try to get that power back a little bit, but I saw something on Twitter where it suggested, with all these players not playing in back-to-backs and all this stuff, they said either A stop canceling, stop scheduling back-to-backs, or B stop making that money guaranteed. Which one of those you think is more likely to happen?

Speaker 2:

Neither, but if I had to pick one one, not scheduling back-to-backs but neither if I'm going to be honest because the players is not going to the NFL model where their money ain't guaranteed. It's just not happening and the league ain't going to cut the amount of games or stretch the season out no more because they don't want to lose no revenue because they still got to pay the players. That ain't going to take a break. So the NBA is kind of in a damn if I do, damn if I don't. There you are.

Speaker 1:

They're going to have to figure it out, adam Silver. That's why they pay you the big bucks. Figure it out. Nba is back today. Well, it came back yesterday. The Lakers they lost to the Hornets. That was a reschedule, but it's officially back today and we'll be talking about it hot and heavy for the rest of the season. And you know when that playoff comes. You know, from my perspective, we got y'all. We got y'all with that playoff talk. But what's also around the corner is March Madness. March is literally around the corner, hopping the skip away. These conference tournaments are getting ready to start, which means after that, selection Sunday is coming. I believe we're maybe what three weeks, three or four weeks away from Selection Sunday, something like that, I believe. So I believe it's three. I believe we're maybe what three weeks, three or four weeks away from Selection.

Speaker 2:

Sunday, something like that. I believe, so I believe it's three. I believe it's three, but don't quote me.

Speaker 1:

Three. But me and Q decided, hey, it's time to talk about a little college basketball. You know, we talked a little bit because our Cardinals we back. We was outside the top 25, but we back again. We back in the top 25, but we're back again, we're back in the top 25. We played this Saturday, we played four-state this Saturday at noon. I'll be watching it.

Speaker 1:

But we're not just going to talk about Louisville today. We're going to give our early predictions of what the Elite Eight could be this year, this year. And you know, I was looking at it earlier, looking at the top 25, looking at the teams. You know what they call it the quad ones, quad twos, all that crap. I was looking at that a little bit, trying to see, trying to give my thoughts on some teams that could be in there, and I was like man after a while. I was like I just okay, I'm just going to look at it and see what teams I like.

Speaker 1:

I ain't about to do all this extra studying, so I'm just going to go ahead and give it to you straight up, like this Q, what I like so far for possible Elite Eight. Some of them might be chalk, but the SEC they stack. So I'm going to go Auburn, I'm going to go Florida, I'm going to go Duke, also going to go Alabama. Those are the top four teams in the rankings. Sue me, but after that I'm going to go St John's, coached by Rick Pitino. I saw Missouri play yesterday. I was watching that game.

Speaker 2:

You watched that game too, yeah.

Speaker 1:

I was hate-watching Kentucky, they won. Well, I was hate-watching that team, but they won. Then that game came on. Let me watch this game too.

Speaker 2:

Man, I live with a Kentucky fan. They talking about Simone. You see what we did to Vanderbilt. I'm like it's Vanderbilt man. And it's Vanderbilt, I mean, what do we tell them though? What do we tell them though?

Speaker 1:

But yeah, auburn, florida, duke. But yeah, auburn, florida, Duke, alabama, missouri, st John's, and I'm going to go Clemson and Louisville and obviously Louisville is a little home run, obviously, but I still think we actually got a chance. It's not not believable. We got a chance to make some noise in the NCAA tournament.

Speaker 2:

So that's the eight I'm going to go with All right Beck. So I'm kind of like you, because I've seen Missouri yesterday and I've seen what they did, it's kind of like I got to put some respect on it. I'm going to start with my SEC teams. I'm going Alabama, I'm going Auburn, I'm going Missouri. I'm not going to say Florida. I'm not going to say Florida. I'm not going to say Florida because I don't want it to be for I don't want it to be for SEC. I can see how it could be for SEC teams but, which is crazy to think that it used to never be like it was the blue, the blue people invitation. The SEC for the long time was the blue schools invitation, but now, all of a sudden, the whole. They just decided to spend some money.

Speaker 1:

The SEC in basketball is what they thought they was in football this year.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and not to mention, tennessee is real good too. Yep, tennessee is really good, so and they not. To me I think they're probably like a sweet 16 team, but I ain't going no more than four SEC schools. I'm going to three. I'm going Missouri, alabama Army. I'm going to go Duke as well, because when you got the best player, you assume they're going to make the LA Day. He's the best player in the country, I'm assuming they're going to make the LA Day. That's four right there. I'm going to Iowa State, okay.

Speaker 1:

I see it, they look good.

Speaker 2:

I'm going Iowa State especially because, like I said, I have watched Iowa State play. I like Iowa State. I kind of go. I want to go with St John's but I'm not.

Speaker 1:

I'm like I think three-point percentage is terrible.

Speaker 2:

But he put two Louisville teams in the final four with worst three-point shoot. So I can't. I can see it. Alright, so cool, I'm going to throw a wild card at her. Actually it's going to be two wild cards. New Mexico yeah, george Mason, I'll be on CBS Sports a lot. I have seen A lot of Like I won't say Now in West games, and somebody Mentioned George. I was listening to a podcast and they mentioned George Mason, so it made me I knew this was coming up so I went and did my little Research. So George Mason is like my Long shot, so New. So George Mason is like my long shot. Okay, so New Mexico, george Mason. Alabama, auburn, missouri, duke, I want to say Louisville because I'm a homer.

Speaker 1:

Well, here it said because I did, I won't feel bad, I want to say Louisville, I won't judge you.

Speaker 2:

Oh, here, say it, because I did, I won't feel bad. I want to say Louisville, I won't judge you. I'm going to say Louisville. And then I'm going to go Michigan State because of Tom Izzo.

Speaker 1:

Tom Izzo still doing it Kansas. They good, but they bad.

Speaker 2:

I looked at it earlier and I was like no, because the last time I seen them play they got smacked. So no, I don't think I want to put them in my team, bro. I looked at them and I was like nah, because I'm going off the top 25, but I'm also going off what I've seen, what I've seen in Kansas Nah bro, it's weird, it's so weird.

Speaker 1:

Nah, yeah, again, marshall Madness is around the corner and I can't wait. I'm going to fill out my bracket, you know, I'm going to fill out me about 10, 20 of them things, and I'm going to do it for the women. We'll probably talk about a little women's college basketball on the next episode?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, we are, because it's one team that I already, it's one team in my head that I'm like yo, you might want to watch our video, all right.

Speaker 1:

We'll hey, teaser for next week, Teaser for next week, but let's go ahead and slide to pretty much our last segment. Before we get to our last thought, though we teased it last week. I tweeted about it earlier. This week we got another start bench cut. This time it's dual threat edition and I'm still mad at Q for sending this to me, because I looked at it and I was like no way he's making me pick between these three quarterbacks. But start bench blue card cut. He put Michael Vick, Cam Newton and Lamar Jackson. I thought long and hard, Real long and hard.

Speaker 2:

But I hate to do it.

Speaker 1:

Cam Newton, I got to cut Cam, start Lamar and bench Michael Vick. It was tough, it was tough.

Speaker 2:

I feel it, but I'm going to cut Michael Vick and I'm going to bench Cam and I'm going to start Lamar, for one reason, and one reason only. Well, it's two reasons, two reasons only. He's the greatest Michael Vick is and how important he was, cam was MVP.

Speaker 1:

That's why it was tough for me, because Cam won that MVP.

Speaker 2:

And Cam took his team to the Super Bowl 15-1.

Speaker 1:

15-1.

Speaker 2:

People forget how good Cam was because his follow-up was so quick. Cam carried that franchise because, if you look at that franchise, it was him and Greg Olsen who was in a lot of Hall of Fame.

Speaker 1:

Put a little respect on Steve Smith, though.

Speaker 2:

I forgot about Steve. My bad, but still come on. What are we talking about, cam and Steve?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's it.

Speaker 2:

Nah, bro. For that reason I am going to store Lamar bench Cam and I'm going to cut Michael Vick. As hard as it is, that's the same.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, Michael Vick. He was a big part of my childhood so it was tough for me but I couldn't do it. I couldn't do it. I couldn't cut Michael Vick, so I cut Cam Newton. Sorry, Cam, but that was our start-bitch cut this week. We may take a break from them, but we do have some more coming up. We got some other positions actually, but we got a lot of downtime in between football seasons until football season starts. So we're going to spread it out a little bit, but we're still not done with our football talk. There's been talks Roger Goodell, some of the owners, they've been talking about moving the season to 18 games, and Q said he's had a lot to get off his chest in terms of the NFL possibly moving to 18 games. So, Q, the floor is yours, Cool.

Speaker 2:

We know it's going to 18 games, this whole talk about player safety and all of that. I believe it, but at the same time, I know it's coming. So from my perspective, the easiest way to get to that 18th week without adding an extra game well, it's going to be extra games, but add new teams. The NFL just needs to expand those teams. That's already playing 17 games, they don't need to play another game. You want to get an extra game? Add more inventory by adding more teams.

Speaker 1:

How many more teams? Because they're already at the perfect number of 32. They have eight divisions of four teams. How many teams do you think they need to add?

Speaker 2:

Two divisions, I have five, and that's fine. It is what it is, from my perspective, or because I mean, let's be honest, football is football in America. It's not going to water down if you add two teams.

Speaker 2:

Let's say let's say you add a team to Louisville, you add a team to San Antonio. I'm just throwing those two up the top of my head. Right, expansion in those two markets wouldn't hurt. It wouldn't hurt the brands. It would create instant rivals, like with Louisville and Cincinnati and Louisville and Annapolis and Louisville and the Titans or San Antonio. You get the Cowboys, you get Houston. To me it just makes sense. Instead of adding the 18th game to every team, add an 18th week by just adding teams, and then by doing that, I know it's going to push the Super Bowl back a week. Everybody's been talking about pushing the Super Bowl back to President's Day weekend. Anyway, I don't know how long. Might as well, might as well, go on and do it. Nba, move your All-Star game up a weekend.

Speaker 2:

Because you ain't competing with the Super Bowl, you're not going to compete with that, so don't even waste your time. Move it up a week. They're going to put you up against the Pro Bowl. Do what you got to do, or they could yack a tax and figure it out work it out.

Speaker 2:

You know what I mean. But I mean again. My point was you could get two bye weeks. That's what they need to do, instead of getting each NFL team getting an 18 game. Give each NFL team an extra bye week Because then you add more inventory so you could afford to give more teams bye the same week because you added two more teams and that's just adding another game. Honestly, you can add two teams, you can add four teams. You can put a team up in Toronto, you can put a team in Vancouver.

Speaker 2:

I'm just they want to go to Mexico City. I don't see Mexico City as being a prominent thing because of the attitude. It's too hard to fly back and forth.

Speaker 1:

I've heard. Now I don't think this is ever going to happen. I don't think it should happen. The Jacksonville has been the team that they said. That might be the team they do it, but they's talking about having a team in London, a team just over the pond. Do you think that's realistic or possible?

Speaker 2:

That's what I'm saying. It's too hard to travel, to go over the pond. It's too hard to travel back and forth, so it would be way too difficult.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I agree, I would say Hawaii. I don't know if maybe that may be a little bit too much travel too, but they struggle with the Pro Bowl.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, you're right, but I think if you expand it to, I guess I got to put more thought into the cities. I would say San Antonio, of course I would love Louisville. San Diego, I would say need their team back, personally Need a team, they need a team. And then St Louis.

Speaker 1:

St Louis a team, they need a team. And then St Louis, st Louis and San Diego they need teams back. That's what you have me to pick. I'll say them two right now.

Speaker 2:

Them two. Them will be my first two. And then I don't know, san Antonio, though it's a growing market, maybe even Austin for real. You know Texas, football in Texas go hand in hand. So a 13 being that I know it would make sense.

Speaker 1:

I like what you're talking about. I like what you're saying. I don't think they should give it another week. I think they should have stayed at 16 games. I'm a traditionalist. I'm a little bit surprised some of these records haven't fallen faster than when they moved to that extra game. But I really believe they moved to that. 18 week. There's going to be 18 games. There's going to be a lot of records that falls, especially like that Eric Dickinson record and passing yard record, passing touchdown record. I believe that's a possibility but they're going to do it. We know the NFL is going to do what they want to do. It's all about that dollar. If they don't holler, they're going to do it Sick. But that'll do it for your boys. On the From Our Perspective podcast, a little quick episode for you guys. It was a little dry week, all-star game. They was dry. They wasn't doing nothing. Basketball was on the break.

Speaker 2:

You're saying quick we gave them 30 minutes. It ain't like it was 15 minutes. I mean we usually give them about an hour.

Speaker 1:

We usually give them about an hour, but hey, it is what it is, hey they, it is what it is, they're going to take it, y'all are going to take it and also y'all are going to like it, like it and you're also going to subscribe, if you haven't subscribed, and you also y'all missed out on the Valentine's Day stuff. St Patrick's Day is coming up, easter is coming up. You can put something in the Easter basket for your shorty, for your kid, for your mom, for your grandma, for somebody. Hit that link and buy you some From Our Perspective merch. Put it in the Easter basket, do something, do something.

Speaker 2:

We got green hoodies. You can rock the hoodie and the t-shirt. We got green.

Speaker 1:

You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2:

All y'all got birthdays coming up. Y'all know somebody with a birthday. Make a whole side of a t-shirt.

Speaker 1:

Hey, do something, but again, that'll do it. Please like, please subscribe. Follow us on Twitter at Perspective, underscore 08. I plan on live tweeting some games whenever there's some good games, if we can get some good games. Nba, I just want some good games. That's all I ask. I'm going to start watching some more NBA now that NFL is done. Mlb is coming up fast in the herd. But yeah, that'll do it. I'm your boy, dion. Shout out to y'all. We really appreciate y'all for listening every week, for listening to all our nonsense and listening to our perspective on esports. But man, I'm your boy, drq, take us home.

Speaker 2:

Man, y'all ain't never been out to show Boy. Mr Bell, I can't say your name if I'm surprised. Might not put you to my Real quick. I just want to hate on Philadelphia 76ers. At what point do you realize that this ain't y'all season watching tonight? It's a block that he used to make that he didn't even attempt to go after tonight. Joel's done and he, honestly, might be cooked. I don't want to say that, but he might be cooked. So, 76ers, this season y'all ain't going to win the championship. You sure Y'all don't shut that man down. I'll let him make sure.

Speaker 1:

I'll let him Final. I mean this is fun. I'll let them Final ball's coming back too.
