WrestleMania Night One: Triumphs, Travesties, and Triple Threats
WrestleMania Night One brings a mix of highly anticipated matches and surprising creative decisions as the biggest wrestling event of the year kicks off with some feuds that caught fire late while others feel hastily assembled.

Welcome, welcome, welcome to another episode of. From my Perspective, I'm your boy, Deion, coming back to you on this beautiful day as WrestleMania. Well, the rest of my season is here. It's WrestleMania week. We are a couple nights away from WrestleMania, so you know we got to hit you all with this WrestleMania night one. We'll do night two in a separate video, but night one review Q, how you doing.

Speaker 1:My allergies has been whooping me crazy right now. I feel like Mike Tyson is the allergies today because, boy, Boy, it's been bad. Yeah, it's rough out here. I ain't going to hold you, but we got a guest. Q knows him, but he goes by B.
Speaker 3:I'm going to let you introduce yourself B how you doing. I'm doing great. Big wrestling fan, big WWE fan. Produce a big and lazy podcast. We done girls podcasts, what up?

And another thing I just want to let you know when you come into the crib you got to take your shoes off. Kitchen's down to the left, bathroom's down to the right. If you're going to the kitchen, at least let us know when you're about to drink up our liquor, just let us know. That's how we ask Right on. So let's go ahead and get right into it. Before we start doing these predictions, I want to ask each of you guys how do you guys feel about the build of WrestleMania? Do you feel it was good? Do you feel it was adequate? I already know it wasn't nearly as good as last year from my perspective, but I want to you guys' perspective B. I'll let you go first.
Speaker 3:This year I wasn't really feeling the build-up to WrestleMania on a lot of the matches, but it started to come together once it got closer. But I just feel like they took too long to get to a lot of it. That's just my opinion.
Speaker 2:That's nice because I think it varies by's nice because I think it. I think it varies by the match. I think it depends on the match. A lot of the matches, the build up don't feel like nothing. Just feel like he threw something at the wall and alright, it's stuck, so let's go with it because we ain't got nothing else. Like I love the New Day. New Day shouldn't be on the WrestleMania card right now. Macdonald got the better tag team division, hell Dion, what was it Last week? The week before, I was like I don't even know who the Raw tag team champions is Dang, but that was. You know, that's Raw's history, I think. Currently, especially the past year, the tag team division on Raw is kind of like that. So a lot of the matches feel very thrown together, feel very live. Now some of them, like Drew and Damien, feels like something, but you know.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I agree with you. I definitely agree with y'all on that one. Since you brought it up, let's go ahead and get right into it. You guys know me and Q. We do confident point predictions. Shout out to the Steven Larson Going In Raw podcast. I stole it from them. Hopefully they don't mind. But we do the confident point predictions. Which is the match you have the most confident points in? You give the highest number. There's seven matches on night one, so you give seven to it. The match you have the least confidence in, you give a one to it. So let's go ahead and get into that.
Speaker 1:War Raiders New Day matchup for the World Tag Team Titles. I agree with you 100%. Q. When they said the Street Profits is going to be on the WrestleMania SmackDown and this was going to be on WrestleMania I was like dang who pissed somebody off on the SmackDown Tag Team division Because that was built up perfectly for a multi-man ladder match or something. Usually they do that. They didn't. They're going with the War Raiders and the New Day. Who's hot cooled off? Looks like they're trying to heat them up again. But Q, who you got in? War Ra Warriors versus New Day. What's your confidence point to them?
Speaker 2:How you coming to me for that I don't know.
Speaker 2:Because I honestly don't. The Warriors felt like they were going to be something when they won it and they ain't felt like nothing since they won it. And then New Day turned heel and I thought I was like, okay, we getting somewhere. They, you know, you know me. I was like, okay, we're getting somewhere. You know me, I wasn't sure about the Kofi thing. I was very questioned on Kofi being a heel. He came into it, made his way, found his way, cool, but, like you said, they was hot, they cooled off and now he's trying to you know it ain't really I don't know.
Speaker 2:So I'm going to say New Day with no confidence at all, so I'm going to put a one, a one New Day with one. I only feel like it's New Day because it's the name New Day and maybe Big E might pop out.
Speaker 1:That is a good option. That would be nice. But some people say he might cost them this match. I don't see it happening, but hey.
Speaker 2:The only way it deserves to be on the card is if he costs them the match.
Speaker 1:I'm just going to piggyback off you. I got the New Day with five conference points. I think that tag title needs a name attached to it World Raiders. Y'all nice, y'all. Just ain't doing it for the tag SmackDown. They looking all right with that tag division. New Day can probably put a little life in that tag division. So I'm going to go with New Day with five.
Speaker 3:B what you think I'm going. New Day two. I just I don't think this match belongs at all, but I do think that the titles need to change hands and I think the New Day kind of deserve it, because I've been kind of a fan of the heel turn. You know, I didn't know if it was going to work out, you know, with the huge swerve, the biggie thing, but they've been doing pretty good and I think they deserve it.
Speaker 1:I like it. I like it. Let's go ahead and slide out to a match that I'm looking forward to, which was a pretty damn good build, and that's Jay and Naomi. From my perspective, I was a little hesitant on the Naomi heel turn. I didn't think she was going to knock it out the park like she has been, but she has been killing it. Looks like they wanted to keep Jay away from singles competition as much as possible. Get her more reps. Looks like they're ready for the big time. So she's got Jade versus Naomi. At WrestleMania I went with Q first, so I'm going to go with you first on this one B what you got.
Speaker 3:I'm going Jade just because I think they're going to try to protect her. I don't think they're going to let her lose, especially her first WrestleMania Confidence. I'm going to go six. I got a lot of confidence in this match. I think they've been working with Jade behind the scenes so hopefully she shows that she's improved and it's a pretty good match. I think Naomi knocking this heel turn out the park and she's been pretty entertaining.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I mean, you're absolutely right. This one is tough for me personally. Jade, she's going to be built as a star, she's going to be built as the next woman of the women's division, but I feel like this is a. This feud deserves multiple matches and usually when the quote-ununquote babyface wins the first match, that's usually the end of it. So I'm going to go with Naomi with this one so they can get another match at the next PLE. But I'll go, naomi. I'm going to just say four went for Naomi.
Speaker 2:Q what you feeling, man? I'm going Jay with seven. Oh you that confident? Oh, because, like B said, jay's the future. We can't have her lose. She's got to look good going forward because she's the future of this division. They also invested a lot of money in her. Now this is a good storyline. This is one of the few storylines actually developed into something. It felt like something once it got there. We knew Liv and Raquel didn't cause the injury. We knew that it was a little slow getting to, who did it? But when it finally got there, the momentum paced up and the storyline moved. It's real good. I'm going J. It's going to be my win or lose match If.
Speaker 1:I get this wrong you won't. I see how you're feeling about it.
Speaker 2:You don't want too many here lately.
Speaker 1:I was going with three in a row, four in a row, something like that. Yeah, then I got you back. Yeah, I ain't like that.
Speaker 2:So we going for the door.
Speaker 1:All right. Well, let's go ahead and slide to the next one. The US title is on the line. It's LA Knight versus Jacob Fatu Jacob. You know it took him a little bit to get it. He got a little mini feud with Solo at the moment, so I'm going to go first here. With that being said, since Jacob has a feud with Solo, solo's going to cost him this match some way shape or form. So I'm going with LA Knight. I'm putting six on it. I'm that confident. Q Damn. No, jacob, that do, but I feel like Solo's just gonna see that's the thing.
Speaker 2:Jacob is that dude? But, like you said, it feels. I feel like it's the low hanger food of Solo gonna be the one to cost him the match. I feel like that's the low hanger food, but it's also the low-hanging fruit for a reason. So I think I'm gonna. I also feel bad for LA Knight, because LA Knight got over with the crowd and has been stuck in this mid-court chair for way too long and if he I feel like he deserves I ain't saying he deserves to be champion, I feel like he deserves. I ain't saying he deserves to be champion, but I feel like he deserves to be in that conversation. Damien said I was stalling because I really don't know LA Knight. I'm going to check up with you.
Speaker 1:All right, check up with you B, you co-signing that one or you riding with me.
Speaker 3:I'm going to co-sign that one. I'm rolling with that. I think Jacob Fatu is going to win it Just because they built him up so strong and, you know, did the whole undefeated streak. I don't think he's took a pin in a one-on-one match, correct? Yeah, I don't think he's took a pin in a one-on-one match, correct? Okay, yeah, I do. I don't think it's going to happen on WrestleMania. I don't think, unless it's some kind of disqualification or something. I'm going to say so Going 5-2 at 3. I'm hung up on this.
Speaker 2:Because, like I said, it makes sense for Solo to cost him the match, so then they could have the match at Backlash the next one I think is really tough.
Speaker 1:WWE Women's Championship is on the line Tiffany vs Charlotte Flair. It got a little personal a couple weeks ago. I mean it sounds bad to say, but them getting a little personal kind of made this feud, kind of made this match a little bit more much-watched than it was, because at first it was like, eh, we'll see how it goes. I mean I'm going to be watching anyway, so I guess I'll stay and watch it. But other than that, after they got a little bit personal, I was like, oh, they might really be going at it in the ring this weekend, but we'll see how it goes. B. I'll let you start us off with Tiffany versus Charlotte. How are you feeling about this? And give me your thoughts on how the feud went from still to kind of hot with the personal shots oh, man, uh, I think they, they really with the whole oscar promo or how.
Speaker 3:I don't know what happened with that promo where she was talking about kaiser and her dms, but they, they went crazy on that and that kind of like brought it back a little bit. It made me me want to see like man, is Tiffany going to be her? Like they hold Charlotte Flair in real high regards. But I kind of want to see Tiffany beat her because you know she was up and coming, she's great in the ring and I don't want to see her just be like a transitional champion and lose so fast.
Speaker 1:I'm going, tiffany five on that, tiffany with five. All right, I got you there. Q, all right.
Speaker 2:Tiffany needs to win this match. Charlotte does not need to win this match because again go back to the same point I made with Jade Tiffany's the future. She is what the women's division is going to look at as going forward. It's going to be her and Jade going back and forth in the future. And Charlotte we already know what Charlotte is. Charlotte's going to tell her daddy. We know that it's coming.
Speaker 2:We ain't got to pretend like they're not going to do it. They're going to do it. We know it's going to do it. We know that. We ain't got to pretend. You know what I'm saying. But I don't think it's the time for her to do it. I don't think this is the stage for her to do. I'm going Tiffany with three Only because, like B said, they hold Charlotte West such high of a bar and she lost last WrestleMania, so I don't know if they're going to let her lose too many times. I think Tiffany should win Better yet I know Tiffany should win. I don't even know why. I think I know Tiffany should win. But the way they look at that Fleur name, it's something about that name. You know, nepotism is real.
Speaker 1:Sometimes it's a good thing, sometimes it's not. You be the judge, but I'm just going to retweet, repost everything you said. I got Tiffany with three. She needs to win. I just don't know, maybe if that off-script stuff maybe caused some tension between the people backstage at Tiffany or the people backstage at Charlotte, if that's going to affect anything. But I feel like when this match first got announced, tiffany needed to win, so I'm just going to stick with that. Hopefully nothing changed, but it's going to be a good match.
Speaker 2:That man got accused of cheating and then nobody believed him Not one person Because we all looked at it and it was like yo, come on.
Speaker 1:I mean she had to come back with something, because I ain't going to lie. Tiffany hit her with a Mike Tyson left hook.
Speaker 2:Yeah, man, she went to the mergers. That got a low blow.
Speaker 1:Especially after she just had an interview talking about how she was so sad about it ending. Yeah, that was rough that was rough.
Speaker 2:You know what, real quick, that's got to be a weird feeling. Oh yeah, because you know one of them got to get Moody Raw Because both of them on SmackDown. One of them got to get moved to Raw because I don't want people looking at you.
Speaker 1:After you said something like that to me yeah, Charlotte probably going to hit her real good one good time. She definitely got a receipt coming for her.
Speaker 2:Charlotte going to have to go to Raw. I'm just kidding, really SmackDown needs him. Charlotte could go to Raw, but why is Charlotte always the one that has problems?
Speaker 1:Because she has problems with Becky Lynch too.
Speaker 2:Man she's nepotism.
Speaker 1:I guess. I guess it's that nepotism. Who knows, who knows. Let's go ahead and move on to the next match, rey Mysterio versus El Gran Americano. I just want to point out it's a travesty that Chad Gable is not on this card. All the work that he's done and they just give it to this dude who just walked in three weeks ago to El Gran Americano. It's an absolute tragedy. All right Deion.
Speaker 2:Yeah, it's funny. I was saying you know, he's from the Gulf of America. He got too personal, they got too high for him. They had to pull him from the Gulf of Mexico or they got too personal, they got too high for him.
Speaker 1:They had to put him off the race car Okay.
Speaker 2:He's from a body of water, all right, yeah.
Speaker 1:But yeah, this is one of them feuds I think they just kind of threw together. They obviously wanted Ray Mysterio on the card, they wanted El Grande Americano on the card, they wanted Chad Gable on the card. This is how they did it. Personally, man, this feud as much as I like Chad Gable, as much as this feud has put a little smile on my face it's silly, it's worked a little bit. It's just at this point. You already made Chad Gable shorty G. Now you're giving him this L.
Speaker 1:The man is great alone. He don't need this crap. Is great alone. He don't need this crap. He's ready to be Jack Gable. Let him be what we call him pretty much Kurt Angle. Probably not as good as Kurt Angle, but he's up there. He's the next best Kurt Angle. Side note he should have been Kurt Angle's son, not Jason Jordan. They fun with that one. But that's me to handle there. That's old news.
Speaker 1:But speaking of the match, though, I just got Rey Mysterio, because I mean, rey's a legend and we know how this feud is going to end. It's going to end with El Gran Americano being unmasked at some point. We don't know when. I'm going to say he's not going to be unmasked at this match because I think they have a PLE in Mexico coming up sometime soon. I think it'll be a good pop for Ray Mysterio to get that big win and unmask El Grande Americano and make him the fraud that he is. But I got Ray Mysterio with two because maybe they want to give it to the new guy, I guess. So, B, how do you feel about this feud and the triumphs of Chad Gale will not be in on the card.
Speaker 3:It's. I don't understand it. I don't, but I think it's going to be a pretty good match. They're two. It's Ray Mysterio and El Grande Americana. You know they're two good workers in the ring. So you know, el Grande Americana, they're two good workers in the ring. It's going to be a phenomenal match. Like you said, I don't think he gets unmasked. I'm going with Rey Mysterio 2.
Speaker 1:Rey, Mysterio 2. He's cosigning me Q go ahead. How are you feeling about this feud and the travesty of Chad Gale not being on this card?
Speaker 2:So I got four, five and six left.
Speaker 1:You put one set. Yeah, you got four, five and six left.
Speaker 2:Okay, I got four, five and six left. All right Damn. I wish I could have put this lower. I forgot about this match. Why are we even doing this match? That's the better question. What are we even doing here? We making a mockery of Luchador wrestling. I feel like this is their way of trying to dig it up, but they making a mockery of it at this point. This is what they doing. I know that's not what he's attempting to do, but that's what he's doing. Oh, el Grande, my, I'm going a little Mysterio Only because he got inducted to the Hall of Fame last year and he, this match is going to be good Because you get a Hall of Famer in a workhorse game. Game, sorry, oh Grande, sorry. Yeah, I'll keep you in the table. I'll do it too 50-year-old Hall of Famer.
Speaker 1:With them stem cell knees. That man, he moving like he 25.
Speaker 2:Ray is Ray still going to put on a good match? So I'm going to go, Ray. At four I could see El Grande winning. I think he's going to get unmasked. I'm going to say he's getting unmasked. Come on man, what are we doing? They can't extend that out too much longer.
Speaker 1:This is the biggest stage there is.
Speaker 2:We all know it's him. Quit playing with my intelligence too much. We all know time, but quit playing with mine. Don't play with my intelligence too much. We all know his storylines, but don't play with my intelligence too much yeah, hey, man, I I hate that man.
Speaker 1:They made him shorty G. I like Chad Gable too.
Speaker 2:Man, it's just do the bit, do what like four character changes and make them work for a shorty genius.
Speaker 1:He made it work, but yeah, that's how you know he's a talented person because he's made pretty much every crap they've gave him into something.
Speaker 3:Yeah, I commend him for just taking what they throw at him and just making it work.
Speaker 1:Every time. So let's go ahead this match. I'm not going to say it's been confirmed, but I've been seeing a lot on Twitter that this match is supposed to open night one. So they're going to start out with a bang with Jey Uso versus Gunther for the World Heavyweight title. I put this in the same light as Tiffany and Charlotte Not in the same thing, but pretty much.
Speaker 1:The feud was stale, it was slow. I'm like man, man, what is going on? I'm not even that interested. And then they pulled out something. They pulled a rabbit out the hat, brought in Jimmy Gunter, bodied Jimmy, put blood on his body. Jey Uso came out the next week, put on the promo on his life, got me back interested and for a while I was thinking like dang, did they like fumble the first half of this feud so they didn't have to put it on the main event? That's how I feel, that's what it seemed like, but it's going to be a good match.
Speaker 1:Jey Uso, I got him. I got all my confidence points. You can't lose this man a fifth time, or fourth or fifth time. You got to win this match, especially after he bodied you, especially after you said that your mom asked you why you didn't protect your brother, and especially after you told that man to his face that you're going to pray to God because you're about to be a different man when you go in that ring and beat your ass. So you got to give it to Jay. So I got him with all my you go in that ring and beat your ass, so you got to give it to Jay. So I got him with all my confidence points in that seven B, what you feeling.
Speaker 3:Ooh, I second that. Yeah, jay can't lose. How many title shots has he had now? How many times has he been in this position in the main event and, uh, just lost? I mean, didn't he lose to gunther at saturday night's main event already, like? A week before royal rumble. So like yeah, he can't, he can't lose again. There's no way he can lose again. Like it's time he. He's been over for so long. Got everybody eating and you and throwing their hands up and down. It's time. It's time to put it on him.
Speaker 1:I'm going with Jay I'm going eight, yeah Seven. Yeah, seven, just know you only got one left. I guess you're not confident in the main event.
Speaker 3:Oh, what is the main event on night one?
Speaker 2:Oh Romanel.
Speaker 3:Yeah, romanel, oh, that's night one, yeah.
Speaker 2:Oh, I take it back.
Speaker 3:Wait a minute, wait a minute.

Speaker 2:Okay, we're going to talk about this when we get there, because you got confidence. Who's going to win a triple threat?
Speaker 1:That's a good question.
Speaker 2:Okay, it's got to be Jay, because if it ain't Jay, jay can't compete for another world title in his life. That's why Jay got to win it. So I'm going Jay with six, because he ain't got no other choice, he has to win it. So I'm going Jay with six Because he ain't got no other choice. He has to win it. And if he don't win it, I think people are going to write it. They might jump over them barricades. I'm just going to keep it all the way up above. Jay has to win it, because if he don't win it, where else does he go?
Speaker 1:Back to a tag team with his brother.
Speaker 2:Yeah, he's too old to do that. Can I ask y'all a question what's up? Would it have been better instead of? I know John Cena turned here We'll get to that in episode two but would it have been better if Jimmy went after Cody and he teamed up with the Rock and then they all went back heel again Because they just did this? I know Jimmy was on Cody's side I mean, Jay was on Cody's side last year in WrestleMania but If Jay turned heel and went after Cody Would that have been better, because I'm kind of I was just thinking about that the other day went after Cody.
Speaker 2:Would that? Would that have been better? Because I'm kind of I was just thinking about that the other day. I was like would it have? Been better if J went after Cody, because ain't a lot of so many times personally now I'm thinking about now.
Speaker 1:It's just me first reaction. I don't think it would have been better, because Roman's going heel again too.
Speaker 2:I don't know if y'all noticed, is he even a baby face? I don't know. He's the definition of a twinner.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I don't know, Bill. What's your thoughts on it? It could have been J Cody instead of John Cena Cody.
Speaker 3:I like it, the John Cena heel turn. It happened out of nowhere, while I'm enjoying it and I want to see the aftermath of it. It kind of just happened out of nowhere. It didn't have no build, it didn't have no rhyme or reason or explanation. Then it came out and was like hey, it's the fans' fault. I hate you. You did it to me. So like I don't know, I think it would have probably maybe been a better idea.
Speaker 2:I know it would have probably maybe been a better idea. I know it ain't going to sell as many tickets as John and Cody, but I think, as far as storyline, I think that would have been better Because again, like you said, we've just seen the government J situation.
Speaker 3:Plus J is at his height. Like when somebody's at their height like that and they turn heel, it's just so much heat on them at that point so much heat.
Speaker 1:But speaking of main events, we all know Cody John, they're going to be main event night two. We got main event of night one Seth Rollins, cm Punk, roman Reigns. This build has been very iffy to me. I'm not too fond of the way they made this the main event. I mean, I understand the three of the big names in the company but it feels unearned from my perspective Just giving it to them. Obviously, the biggest reason why they're giving it to them is because Roman is in the match.
Speaker 1:Roman don't do nothing but main events. At this stage of his career he's probably that's all he's going to do. He might open the show, fire up the jet and get up out of there, but he's gonna open the show, he gonna main event. So that's probably why they're doing it again. I just don't feel like it's earned. But I feel like there's only one man that should win this match because we all know roman, after this night he gonna take him a nice little what three, four, five, six vacation. He'll be around. We don't know, his body might fall apart, but you know he'll be around. So I got Seth, but I'm only putting one confident point on him with him. And I got Seth, penn and Roman. Let's go ahead and send Roman on vacation with a little Penn.
Speaker 2:Okay.
Speaker 1:Okay, how you feeling.
Speaker 2:I got what five left.
Speaker 1:Yep, you got the five left.
Speaker 2:Damn, that's a little too high. I don't want to pick a triple threat this high. I think I'm going to go. All right, let me think about this Kaseem Punk. He's getting headlined in WrestleMania. That was his childhood dream, but you can't. Are they going to really let him win it?
Speaker 1:No, he did it, he got his win, he made a win. That's his win right there. So I don't see them winning it.
Speaker 2:Seth Rollins said something about best for business, the same thing John Cena said when he did the whole thing with the Rock. So I'm kind of wondering if they're going to go that route. Where'd you go, seth Rollins?
Speaker 1:I went Seth Rollins with one.

Speaker 3:And I think it's going to be Seth. I think Seth is the only one here that needs to win. He's been taking a lot of pins, he's been losing a lot and I feel like the story behind everything his hatred for CM Punk, his hatred for Roman Reigns being a part-timer I feel like it's all warranted because he was the one that was there through it all. He helped Cody last year. Everybody know he got. You know he even messed up for a little bit. You know had some injuries. So you know I think he needs to win. He put the company on his back while everybody else is chilling. So I think we're going to see Seth Rollins win and maybe a Paul Heyman turn to Seth Rollins' side, maybe.
Speaker 1:I'm glad you said that, because I was going to add that as a prop here last minute. Q who's Paul Heyman's heart going to belong to at the end of this match? Because that's basically what these guys are fighting for. To be honest, that's crazy.
Speaker 2:I think it's going to belong to CM Punk. I got to go with that because CM Punk's with it, even though y'all making me want to pick Seth now.
Speaker 1:And I also think Paul Hamer is going to leave with Seth. I think that's the most interesting outcome Because, honestly, again, roman, he's going to be gone, cm Punk, he don't need Paul. Let's see what Seth can do with Paul Hamer.
Speaker 2:I think Seth got ooh. Seth's going to turn out a heel on this. If Seth wins, he's coming out as the heel.

Damn, I think I just lost Damn, but yeah, that's night one of WrestleMania. Before we wrap up this show, though, we got to talk about something else that's happening on night. Well, day one, because it's happening early in the morning it just dawned on me that Stand and Deliver is going on at 9 in the morning. I'm not going to be watching that live.
Speaker 2:That may be at 30 in the morning, ain't it. Yeah, and I said we had to pick the main event. I said that too.
Speaker 1:I'm not going to be watching that one live, but obviously I'm a big NXT fan. Sometimes I think it's better than the main roster Q he don't really care, but he keeps up with it a little bit. But they have a big main event. They have a big main event. Three African-Americans are main eventing, standing to deliver Oba Femi, trick Williams and why is his name escaping me Javon Evans, main eventing night. Main eventing, standing to deliver.
Speaker 1:There's been some criticism of WWE and how they have been promoting black people. Some people criticize there's not really many black men on the WrestleMania card. I understand the criticism. One thing I will say is if Triple H soon will have no choice because these three men they are coming to the main roster soon, not just these three men, but NXT as a whole has a lot of black people that are stars that are coming up very soon. I mean they chose to not re-sign Bobby Lashley. Bobby Lashley, probably one of the biggest African-American wrestlers in pro wrestling right now. So that hurts you in that form. But these three are coming and I'm just going to say Obafemi's going to go ahead and mop the floor with both of them. He might stack them like Roman did, edge and Daniel Bryan, but I got Obafemi. I just want your thoughts on NXT, that stand-and-deliver main event, and your thoughts on the lack of black people in WrestleMania. Ples here lately.
Speaker 3:You're right. I think I'm going to mop the floor with both of them. Trick, he had the title. I think he lost it and got it back Yep, and I think it's too and got it back, and I think it's too early for Javon to get it right now. I think he's still got a little bit more work to do. So I'm going with Obafemi on that one, but I think I like the way that they built it up for sure, though. Definitely like the way that they built it up for sure.
Speaker 2:So we're getting a point if we get this right. Is that what you're telling me? Yeah, you can go ahead and get your point.
Speaker 1:if you want to get it right, get your actual point. You might need it.
Speaker 2:I don't feel like that's necessary. So you know me, I don't really follow NXT that much. I watch more clips on YouTube, but I really don't follow NXT that much. So, that being said, let me answer the African-American question. I mean, they got to do what sells tickets. They got to do what makes profit. It's only the majority of their fame is Caucasian. That's what they do. Can a black, can a person, african American, get over? Yeah, because Booker T got over and Kofi got over. He got over. But even if you look at J-Mill, technically they're awesome for real. They technically African Americans, you know. But so they doing what with sales tickets? Would I love to see an African-American man, you know, maybe hold a US title or Intercontinental title or whatever title? Yeah, I think our best bet is over Femi and Hill. He's like African. So, and you said that they come in, look, they brought Trick Williams up and look where Trick is Trick about to be in the tag team you mean Carmelo, you mean Carmelo.
Speaker 2:I mean, yeah, carmelo, he brought Carmelo up, he about to be in the tag team with the Miz. So I mean that's where that's going, that's college, that's where that's going, him and Miz about to be in the tag team. So I'm going to go with Trick Williams, because they ain't, that little brute, been attacking people and stuff, yeah, dark State yeah, and they ain't attacking everybody. But they said Trick ain't got touched, he got touched a couple times. Did he get touched? You know, I don't know. So I got to ask all these questions. I don't know. I'm going to go with Trick, though, if I get it wrong, cool.

Speaker 1:I feel like they're going to be busy with Tony D and them.
Speaker 3:Oh yeah, they do got that going on.
Speaker 1:I think they'll be a little busy with Tony D, but that puts a bow on night one of WrestleMania. It's coming on Saturday night. I will probably be sleeping because I like my sleep. I don't get to sleep that much with the job that I have, unfortunately. But that's neither here nor there.
