Will Seth Rollins Cash In? Bold Predictions for WWE's Biggest Party of the Summer
We discuss the evolution of SummerSlam into a two-night event, analyze why this makes sense as the "biggest party of the summer," and provide complete match predictions using confidence points.
• Two-night SummerSlam format makes sense as it marks the unofficial end of summer before school starts and football season begins
• WWE should limit two-night PLEs to WrestleMania and SummerSlam only, with possibly Survivor Series as a third option
• Night One features compelling matches including Roman Reigns/Jey Uso vs. Bron Breakker/Bronson Reed and CM Punk vs. Gunther
• We predict Jelly Roll and Randy Orton to defeat Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre, as WWE never lets celebrities lose
• Night Two includes a chaotic six-team TLC match and a street fight between John Cena and Cody Rhodes
• Seth Rollins' Money in the Bank briefcase adds unpredictability - we predict he'll cash in on John Cena rather than CM Punk
• John Cena's limited remaining WWE schedule raises questions about whether he should win the championship from Cody Rhodes
Join us next week as we break down the results and fallout from WWE's second-biggest event of the year!

Welcome, welcome, welcome back to another episode of From Our Perspective. I'm your boy, Dion, coming back to you, Hope everyone's doing good and you know I'm joined by the man, the myth, the legend himself. Captain Hater Q, how you doing?
Speaker 2:Hey how you doing everybody. It's your boy, mr Bill. Aka, say your name off the spot, might not put you to my mind what's going on, dion.
Speaker 1:It's going good, man, we got it all. I mean it's really good for me. I've just been enjoying myself, waking up whenever I want to, not having to get up early. You know I'm going to miss it. I'm going to miss it next week, but hey, no, it'll be my turn, I. But we got SummerSlam coming up, so I'm excited about some something. The first two nights SummerSlam what's your thoughts? First two nights SummerSlam Obviously, it's going to be like that going forward.
Speaker 2:I'm excited. I think SummerSlam. I've seen Triple H say part of the reason why they made it two nights was because this was like vacation time for a lot of wrestling fans. When he said that, I was like that doesn't make a lot of sense. People save up their money, they stack up their bread and they take vacation. Because it's kind of like I don't know about a lot of other areas, but my kid started school today. This is kind of like the last weekend before you go back into like your fall, you know your fall schedule, hell, the Hall of Fame game tonight. You know why we recorded this the Hall of Fame game is on, so it's going into that time. So, yeah, it does make sense to make this. This is like make it like the closeout of summer, even though I know people say like Labor Day is, but Labor Day, you know, by the time September hits we in full football mode, kids is back in school mode. So yeah, make SummerSlam two nights and make it like an end of summer tradition. Man.
Speaker 1:Yep, I agree with you, man. Hey, summerslam they call it the biggest party of the summer. It's obviously the number two. Pl lead behind WrestleMania. They always claim they want it to be as big as WrestleMania. If you want to make it as big as WrestleMania, you might as well make it two nights like WrestleMania. Now, before we get into our prediction, we're going to separate the prediction between 91 and 92. There's been talks not loud talks but I've been hearing things like they want the major events to be two nights and I even heard I don't put no weight into it that most, if not all, is two nights. What are your thoughts about them possibly doing something like that?
Speaker 2:I don't think they should do that. I think realistically, from my perspective. I think WrestleMania should be two nights, I think SummerSlam should be two nights and I think that's it Now. I wouldn't be mad. I don't know how you would do a Survivor Series for two nights, but I wouldn't be mad, like a fall one being two nights. You have you. You have one in early winter, one in summer and then one in the fall. But I don't really know how you would do a survival series two nights. But that would be my only other one that I would consider Even Royal Rumble. Royal Rumble don't need to be two nights.
Speaker 1:I was about to say you wouldn't consider. I think Royal Rumble could be two nights. You put one Royal Rumble match on one night, though, and one on the other.
Speaker 2:Yeah, you could, but no, I feel like Royal Rumble needs to be. I feel like Royal Rumble it is the third big one, but I feel like it needs to be one night. From my perspective, it needs to be one night Okay, all right, because then you turn around, you have the one in the middle and then you do another two night event is this too close to Wrestlemania?
Speaker 2:Royal Rumble don't make sense to me to be two night Wrestlemania, summerslam, and I guess if I was to be the other one, I just don't know how you would do that- we are going to predict the SummerSlam card.
Speaker 1:Obviously we're going to separate night one and night two. There are six matches on each card. So the way we're going to do it is with confident point predictions. Obviously, shout out to the Stephen Larson podcast, start from them. The way it goes the match you have the most confidence in, you give six points. The match you have the least confidence point in you give one point. We total it up at the end and we get ourselves a winner. Unfortunately, the last time we did this we only got us a first top, first top ever, which you know. Kind of crazy, but hey, it is what it is, but let's go ahead and get right into it. Night one have you seen the night one night two card? I was wondering actually, is there one that you're more interested?
Speaker 2:in. No, I was going to say no, I haven't seen the cards. I know who's going to headline night two, that's about it, but I haven't looked at the cards.
Speaker 1:It's like what's officially on each night, yet Well, once we get through the prediction, I ask you that again, night one is not for sure which one is going to headline, it's one or the other, but we'll get into it. But we're just going to start out with, you know, one match that I'm not that interested in. We've just seen it. They're just throwing it on the card again, and that's Sami Zayn and Karrion Kross. Interesting fact about this one apparently Karrion Kross has not signed a new contract. Maybe he actually has, but we don't know. But the reports are he hasn't signed one. I believe he probably has if they put him on the card. But who knows what's? Your thoughts, what?
Speaker 2:you got on Sami Zayn and Karrion Kross. We've seen it literally like two weeks ago. Out of the matches that's over, you're right it's probably the least exciting. To me, I feel like they should have put a stipulation on this match because, like you said, we just had it two weeks ago. So it would have made sense to you know, give this something like a tables match or something, to give this something like a tables match or something to give it something else.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I'm not really excited about it. That being said, it is something I really don't know who to pick because Karrion Kross is over. But are you really going? And I know Sami Zayn is like Sami Zayn is the one person that could get away with taking a bunch of Ls and he still go because that fits his mentality and his like underdog mentality and all that. But I still, kind of like you, owe Sami Zayn losing the carrying cross on the PLE.
Speaker 1:He got a second biggest PLE too.
Speaker 2:So I'm going to go, sami Zayn, with a one.
Speaker 1:Yes.
Speaker 2:Because I don't I get. Curry and Cross is over. So that's why it's so low because Curry and Cross is over. But I don't know, I just I don't know. I don't know if they're going to pull that trigger and put it in. You know, start elevating Curryiernan Cross.
Speaker 1:With the whole contract stuff. I'm going Sami Zayn with two, not sure, but I'll be. I really don't care about the match, but I'm not sure. But Sami Zayn with two, we'll see what happens. A stipulation would have helped this match tremendously. We ain't getting it, unfortunately. Next up on night one, we're going to talk about the Judgment Day. Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez going up against. They're not friends, but Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss. I am very interested in the Charlotte Flair-Alexa Bliss duo, but I don't know if they really want to give the Judgment Day, take the titles off, judgment Day just yet. You know Triple H, he loves them some Judgment Day. I feel like they could probably lose it further down the line. So I'm going to go with Judgment Day and I'm going to give them a four.
Speaker 2:Okay, so I'm going Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss and I'm going Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss with a three. I'm going with them with a three. Yeah, I'm going in with a three. And the reason I'm going in with a three is because, simple fact, I heard you about the Desmond Day situation, but you want SummerSlam to be as big as WrestleMania. You got to have some type of title changes.
Speaker 1:Mm-hmm.
Speaker 2:And I think this is probably the easiest title change to go along with and you can have them two period for like a couple months until Liv is back, and then you get to Judgment Day back, give it back to Judgment Day, so then you can play the storyline like that. So for that reason I am going to go Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Fleur with three Also, let's be real, they ain't going to let Charlotte keep losing these matches.
Speaker 1:Yeah, great point, great point, just call it sweat and spay matches.
Speaker 2:Yeah, great point, great point. Yeah, you just got to sway and sway. She ain't going to keep Charlotte Flair, ain't going to keep losing matches?
Speaker 1:No, she's not. That's not in her DNA. Speaking of losing matches, Drew McIntyre he's been losing a lot of matches, but he's going to be teaming the Orton and the Jelly Row. Some people know not too fond of how they're giving it to a celebrity. That's what WWE does. They do this. You're going to get a celebrity match at almost every big PLE because it's good PR, it's good publicity and, with that being said, when there is a celebrity even though technically Logan Paul is a celebrity turned wrestler, he's a wrestler now. He's a wrestler.
Speaker 1:With that being said, I got Randy Orton and Jelly Roll with six. Jelly Roll's not losing this match, he's just not. I'm sorry, logan Paul, you're probably taking the L to taking the pin to this.
Speaker 2:So my thing is is Drew McIntyre clear yet to come in the country? Because the last I seen earlier in the week Drew McIntyre's got a whole passport situation.
Speaker 1:I saw something this morning that he's on his way back. That could be, you know, not true? Okay?
Speaker 2:Like I said, I ain't, I don't know, I ain't looked at it today. But yeah, that being said, I'm still going on Jelly Roll and Randy Orton with C's. Yeah, same with you. Because of that, logan Powell can take the L because he's an actual wrestler. They ain't letting Jelly Roll come in and take the L. Nope, definitely it ain't good publicity. You said this is a publicity match. This is a match for marketing. Jelly Roll taking the L is not good for marketing no, cause you know his fans.
Speaker 1:They not gonna be happy if he takes the L. They gonna turn that TV off, like Kendrick Lamar yeah, and like Bad Bunny, bad Bunny came in.
Speaker 2:it's cool to lose in a Royal Rumble or not the case, because they just throw you over the top rope but when Bad Bunny had his one-on-one match with Damian Priest, he won.
Speaker 2:They ain't bringing these celebrities in and then put all the training in and all the work and commit their time down in Orlando or wherever the Performance Center is it might be in Tampa, I might have it wrong Wherever the Performance Center is. Have these artists take time out of their busy lives and then have them come on here and lose. They're not going to do that.
Speaker 1:Not doing it. Me and Q are in an agreement there. Next up, tiffany Stratton versus Jade Corrigill. This one I'm not sure about, but Tiffany, she has had a title for over 200 days. Now it might be time, and with Naomi not having a briefcase anymore, it kind of makes things a little bit more confusing. What you got.
Speaker 2:I got Jade Cargill with a full, and the reason I say that is because I think she's going to turn heel. One of them's got to turn heel in this match. My assumption is it's Jade Cargill because they can set up the whole storyline with her and Bianca, even though I feel like that's more of a WrestleMania thing. I think it's too early to put a trigger on that, but they might have to sell tickets for I think a Clash of Persons next or something like that.
Speaker 2:Yeah, but I was thinking more Survivor Series. So I have something to look forward to later on in the year. So I'm going to go with Jay Parget. I'm going to go, Jay Parget, with a four.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I got Jay with three. I think, tiffany, she is a decent champion. I think it's time for her to go ahead and give it up. Give her something new. Give her a new, fresh coat of paint, because you know you've had it for 200-plus days.
Speaker 2:Your title run hasn't been that interesting from my perspective.
Speaker 1:Not no fault to her, yeah, not no fault to her, but maybe they give her a new coat of paint after she loses. So I got Jay Cargill with three. Let's see what she can do with the title.
Speaker 2:Hold on real quick. Do you think it's a possibility, because I'm assuming it's Jay Cargill turning heel Do you think it's a possibility that it's actually Tiffany Stratton turning heel, if she keep her title?
Speaker 1:Personally, both of them need to turn heel because both of them are better as heels. I mean, I'm with you where you are, but if they're going to turn somebody heel, I think it'll be easy to turn Tiffany because I think, jay, she has a lot. She has a big fan base that like her a lot. It'll be, even though she's a great heel. I think she's still selling a lot of merch as a baby face, but eventually she's going to have to turn heel. I think she's still selling a lot of merch as a babyface, but eventually she's going to have to turn heel. So either one, you can't go wrong with either one of them. I think it'd be more impactful for Jade, but I think Tiffany probably needs it the most.
Speaker 2:Okay, yeah, I think, like you said, both of them need it.
Speaker 1:I think you can't have two babyfaces in this match, so somebody's got to be here Somebody, and they really haven't been promoting this match either, so we'll see what they do Friday. They need more than just a video package, because people probably don't even know they fight at this point.
Speaker 2:That's the one thing about SummerSlam being two nights. You do got to promote it and I understand they had the other PLE a couple weeks ago. I'm big on you get the money in the summertime when you ain't got no competition, but you do have to build these matches up. Like I said, they had Evolution, then they had Saturday Night's Main Event. You got to build these things. You still got to build these things up.
Speaker 1:You definitely do. All right, so next up, neal. I'm also going to add a prop bet to these next two, because these are the two matches that have a chance to main event. They haven't said which one is going to main event night one, but obviously it's going to be one of these two matches. But we're going to start out with Braun Breaker and Bronson Reed versus Roman Reigns and Jey Uso. I got Roman and Jey with five, for the simple fact Bronson took your Jey's Roman. You got to get it back in blood. You got to get it back in blood. So I got Roman and Jey. He did.
Speaker 2:He did take them Jey's. He did take them Jey's. I'm going to Jay he did. He did take them Jays. He did take them Jays. I'm going to go. Okay, I'm going to tell you who I'm picking, but I'm also going to tell you who I want to meet. I'm going Roman and Jay, with a five.
Speaker 1:Okay.
Speaker 2:Because they're bad. Let's call it it's bad. Like I said, they ain't going to let Charlotte lose too many of these matches. They ain't going to let Roman lose too many of these matches, especially because he's about to go away again, because he's about to shoot a movie. He'll be in color in the same movie. So, that being said, I actually want whatever the name of this faction is the Paul Heyman and the crew.
Speaker 1:That's what I'm calling for right now.
Speaker 2:Paul Heyman and the crew's what I'm calling for right now Paul Heyman and the crew. I actually want them to win and the reason is Jay I mean not Jay, roman about to go away, so why you want to give Roman a big win? If you want this team to be successful, they need a big win. They need something to staple them together and something that you can point to to actually take them legitimately. So I want Bronson and Brian Barker to win, but I don't believe they're going to, because they don't let Roman lose these type of matches.
Speaker 1:Nope, you're right and I'm 100% with you, especially after what happened Monday. They sold me. I was iffy on them, but what they did on Monday, all right, I can get behind that team and we'll talk about Seth in a little bit but I can get behind. I would like that to happen. But I'd be shocked. If they let Roman lose, he's definitely eating the pen. If they do lose, Jay's eating the pen.
Speaker 2:Yeah, jay got to eat the pen. Jay can take this L. Yeah, like I talked about Sammy earlier, sammy can take some Ls. Jay can take this L and it'd be cool. I want them to win. I don't think they are, but I do think for storyline purposes I think they should win. That being said, I also think you said we're going to talk about Seth. If he's out and he's like actually legitimately hurt, I think they need a third and I think this is the time to debut the third. Who the third is, I don't know, because I feel like they did the whole.
Speaker 2:They broke up Bryson Wilder and Austin Theory on main event. It wasn't even on SmackDown or Raw, but they've been teasing the breakup for God knows how long and for them not to actually put it on TV to pay it off for like somebody hitting somebody, you know something. It's kind of wild to me, but Austin Theory. So basically, they broke up. So it takes Austin Theory out as far as the heel. Everybody's been clamoring on social media for Carmelo Hayes to get some shine. I wouldn't be mad at that. I just don't.
Speaker 1:Don't know if he fits. I don't know if he fits, I don't know if he fits at this point.
Speaker 2:No, I Don't know if he fits. I don't know if he fits. I don't know if he fits at this point.
Speaker 1:No, I don't know if he fits that group.
Speaker 2:I don't, but he does make sense. I don't know if he fits, but he does, he makes sense.
Speaker 1:He's young, he's talented.
Speaker 2:Yeah, it is. That's what I'm saying. That's what I'm talking about, because it's kind of like they're looking at evolution style. They need the young guns to go out, and then they talk about dudes from NXT, I think Ethan Page.
Speaker 1:Ethan Page or Ricky Saints. One of those two.
Speaker 2:But Ethan Page got the NXT title, so I don't think you out him and I couldn't think of nobody else off the top of my head. Maybe you got a name Grayson Wallace. Don't make no sense.
Speaker 1:For real it's Ethan Page, ricky Saints, one of those two guys I would like Carmelo. I wouldn't hate it if it's Carmelo. I just don't think he necessarily fits that group. The type of person he is, the way his character is set up I don't know if he fits.
Speaker 2:But yeah, they ain't using his character the way it's supposed to be.
Speaker 1:Good point. Good point, but before we go to CM Punk and Gunter, do you think this main event or do you think CM Punk main event, night one?
Speaker 2:That's a great question.
Speaker 1:I got CM Punk main event.
Speaker 2:I don't it's one of these two matches, though Right, it's one of the two. Either one of them is going to be first or one of them is going to be last. I'm going to go Roman him, I don't know All the only reason it's Roman him, because it's Roman. Like I said, roman him, it's Roman, and the other people. Roman is carrying him to a main event hey, he's David Ruffin right now yeah, I think you should put.
Speaker 2:You should put CM Punk and Gunther, because in fact this is a world title. You can't treat this just like it's just a regular match. And I know how they think. Opening and main event, they the co-main event. It makes sense because we get people in the mood. But I don't know, bro, roman hey, but Roman's the draw. Let's call it sports, baby. I love CM Punk, but Roman's the draw by himself.
Speaker 1:All you got to do is attach his name to it. Tickets.
Speaker 2:Yeah, roman sells tickets by himself. He gets TV numbers by himself.
Speaker 1:So you're going to go with that. I'm going to go with CM Punk and Gunter as main event for my pride bit points. But let's go ahead and talk about CM Punk and Gunter for the World Heavyweight title. Not much of a build. Cm Punk won a gauntlet match. Shout out to him. They had a couple face to face, nothing too crazy, but it's going to be a good match. Gunter's a good wrestler. Cm Punk he calls himself the best in the world, so they're going to clash. I'm just going to say I got CM Punk with one. But my biggest question outside of who you think will win and your prediction points, is the Seth Rollins thing, because apparently it's word that that Seth Rollins stuff is actual work and he might cash in, which will be probably one of the most shocking things to happen in a while. So give me who you think wins, give me your prediction points and your thoughts. If Seth Rollins actually cashes in, I'm going to have him cashing in as another prop bet point.
Speaker 2:I got him cashing in, but I don't think it's versus CM Punk where it's covered. That being said, I think this versus CM Punk works with Gunther. That being said, I'm going with CM Punk mainly because I feel like it's time to go ahead and put a title on CM Punk. Yeah, and I feel bad doing that, because Gunther only had the title. For what? Two months now?
Speaker 1:But he had it for like over a year, the first time, though.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I know, but that seems kind of quick, so I'm going to go with CM Punk I think I got two left. Yeah, just two. Yeah, I'm going to go, cm Punk, Because I also you can see Gunther winning this title, yeah.
Speaker 2:Like somebody costed CM Punk the championship. But I've seen some reports online that you know, out of big title matches there's always a run-in. You might not want to do a run-in with this one. That's why I think CM Punk's cashing in. I mean, I think Seth Rollins is cashing in, but I don't think it's CM Punk.
Speaker 1:Alright, so we will get to that. As we move over to night two on Sunday, obviously the main event will be John Cena versus Cody Rhodes in a street fight. We will do that one last. But let's start out with what I think is going to be just a car wreck of a match. Let me make sure I get the participants right, as we have a tag title on the line on the PLE. Crazy right Like dang. A novel concept to have the tag team titles on the line, but it's in the TLC match. It's DIY versus Motor City, machine Guns versus the YSIG, versus Andrade and Ray Phoenix versus Axiom and Nathan Frazier and then versus the Street Pops. So a six-man TLC match, first time of this kind. Usually it's like a three-way TLC match or a four-way TLC match. This is going to be a car wreck. I expect it to be a spot fest. How are you feeling about it?
Speaker 2:I don't know if I'm that excited about this match because there's so many teams. If it was like four, I think I would be more excited. I'm excited for the. I'm more excited of the build than I think I'm going to be for the actual match. That's just me personally. That being said, I feel like I think I'm going to go Wyatt 6, but I'm going to go 1 only because they already the tag team champions and they just won, not even 2 weeks ago, or it might be 2 weeks at this point. So I'm going to go with the Y6-1, but I it's tough, oh man.
Speaker 2:So let me put it like this Andrade and Ray Phoenix, I like they tag team and I hope they stick together. But, that being said, I don't think they gonna win Motor City Machine Guns. I think they dropped it too soon when they had it, but I don't think it's time to put it back on them. Street Profits just lost it. Yeah, I don't think they get that back. So it's starting to get. You know, process of elimination is like well alright, y6 would've won it.
Speaker 1:Yep and to help y'all. I'm not going with Y6, but also to help y'all. You gotta thank Y6, but also to help you out. You got to thank Y6, they got more members than just Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis, who's in the match. You got Bo and Eric Rowan and obviously you got that woman's name and she's going by something different too, nikki Cross. But yeah, yeah, I put that. So that's a good pick by you. I just want to be different. I watched a lot of NXT. I would like to see Axe Human, nathan Fraser, get to taking titles, so I'm just going with them. I'm also going with one because who knows who wins it? It's going to be a car. It's going to be a car wreck of a match.
Speaker 2:NXT. I watched NXT the other day. Why, I don't know how I ended up there, but Shia, Nia Lash Lash and Nia Jax, I ain't gonna lie, I'm excited to see that.
Speaker 1:Hopefully they bring it to the main roster.
Speaker 2:I'm excited to see Nia Jax. I said Nia Jax, nia Jax and Lash Lash. I think that's going to be a dope match when they get together very dope match next up.
Speaker 1:We can go ahead and talk about Becky Lynch vs Lyra Valkyria for the women's intercontinental title. The hook to this one is, if Becky wins, lyra cannot challenge for the intercontinental title as long as she's champion. That's an interesting hook. Cannot challenge for the Intercontinental title as long as she's champion that's an interesting hook. It wouldn't be a bad thing to move Lara up to a different level because it has helped her like it's supposed to. But you also got to think Bayley's out there and she's complaining she wasn't on the card. So you got to think she may be involved in this in some way, shape or form. But I think I'm going to go with Becky Lynch. I'm just going to put a two there, not confident in it, but I think she gets it.
Speaker 2:I'm going to go with Laura with a two All right. Reasoning. I think it's not that I think it's time to move Becky on to the world title picture. But I don't know, man. I just feel like it might be time to move Becky, especially if they got Naomi Lucey. I don't think I like her alright.
Speaker 1:Next up is the men's. I don't Alright. Next up Is the Men's, united States champion. You know Family feud. Right now we got going on. We got Solo, who just got it Versus Jacob. Solo got the numbers, jacob, he just got Jimmy. That's about all he got right now. What you, what you feeling? I got Solo With the Four. Okay, got Jimmy. That's not all he got right now.
Speaker 2:Yeah, that's about it. What's your feelings? I got Solo with a four. Okay, Because of the numbers. Honestly, that's what it, more than else, is.
Speaker 1:I got Solo with three Because of the numbers, but I also think he just got the title. Let him run with it for a little bit longer.
Speaker 2:And I think they won't know. Shade I think he is Jacob is destined for a bigger title. So it's time. At some point it's going to have to be time to start pushing him into different titles and different teams and I failed to mention this.
Speaker 1:One is in a steel cage, they said, because it keeps people out. But we've all watched WWE, we've all watched professional, we've all watched professional wrestling. Somebody can interfere still.
Speaker 2:Yeah, that ain't. Even over the surface, they'll find a way.
Speaker 1:Next up the men's intercontinental title. Probably one of the funniest feuds of this build Dominic Mysterio versus AJ Styles. To me personally, I would love to see AJ Styles win, but also I think about Triple H's lesson from Judgment Day they got all the titles. I don't know if he wants to get them to lose or start losing titles now, but I'm just going to go off on a limb and say AJ with four, I'm going with my heart more than my head on this one.
Speaker 2:So I'm going with Dominic Mysterio with a five. The reason being is because I don't know if you've seen he was down in AAA. Yep, I think they're going to put two titles on Dominic. You think they're going to put two belties? They're going to put Dominic. So I'm going with Dominic. I think they're planning to two belt him. All right, all right.
Speaker 1:All right, next up now, this one could be the main event. They probably should put this on night one to give you some main event love. But it is what it is. They got it on night two and we know it's main event night two. But Rhea Ripley versus Naomi versus Io Sky for the Women's World Heavyweight title. I'm just going to call it how I see it. And I got Naomi with six. She just got it. She's hot, they cannot take it off her. And I got Naomi with six. She just got it, she's hot, they cannot take it off her. And we see Rhea and EO. They got a little beef with each other. They're going to cancel each other out. Naomi's going to sneak in and get this done.
Speaker 2:I'm going Naomi. And I'm going Naomi. You know what? I got a six and three. Yep, I'm going to go Naomi with a three. I'm going to go Naomi with a 3.
Speaker 1:I'm going to go Naomi with a 3 so you got your 6 on the main event yeah, take home.
Speaker 2:Like you said, naomi just got it. What's the real possibility of Naomi losing if she just got it? Imagine I know she's going against Rhea and everybody know I love music. I want EO to win. I don't understand why EO loses matches at all. From my perspective, eo's guy should go undefeated for the rest of her career. That's my opinion, but I don't. That would be a very quick switch and it's kind of like the SmackDown tag team why I put them at a 1 as far as 9-2 prediction because they just got it. Naomi just got it, so I wouldn't want to. It feel like you ruined the moment of her cashing in the way she did when she did at Evolution. After that hell of a match that Rhea and Io put on. You take away the luster of that cash in if she loses it at the next BLE. So I feel like Naomi's going to go with a 30, even though I feel like it should be high, but I'm out of numbers.
Speaker 1:I agree, I'm going to go ahead and call it. That's going to be the match of the weekend right there, though, you can go ahead and match the weekend.
Speaker 2:Oh, for sure, for sure, but you said they should have put it on night one. If it was on night one it wasn't going to headline. That being said, they want Sunday to be bigger.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:So you put the two from my perspective, the two biggest matches on Sunday.
Speaker 1:All right, so let's go ahead and talk about the main event. It is in a street fight, if I'm not mistaken, so basically, no DQ. I think there's really nobody that can interfere on behalf of Cody, travis Scott. He looks like he's on the outs with WWE. He has some bad blood, so it looks like he's on out. Maybe something big happens. Maybe we get the final boss, maybe we get some, who knows? We talked about it with Roman. He's got a movie coming up. Cody also has that same movie coming up.
Speaker 1:It seems like everybody just assumes that Cody is going to win this match. We all know John is going to lose this title before he leaves in December. From my perspective, I don't think it should be Cody. Cody, you had the title for a year. You're still the guy. You're still QB1, as you like to call it. You really don't need the title. From my perspective, I think somebody else, somebody younger, should get the rub for taking the title off. John Cena I don't know if it's going to happen, cody, you still got that movie too, but I got John Cena and I'm going to go with John Cena with five Fingers crossed. Nah, I'm not confident in it, but who knows?
Speaker 2:So here we go, here we go, here we are, here we are, here we are, and I like I left with six, right, yeah, I'm going John Cena with six. Okay, and the reason I'm going John Cena with six is that I think Seth Rollins is gonna cash in on John Cena okay, you gonna think Seth Rollins is gonna cash in on this match yes, because everybody assumes it's gonna be CM Punk, because they got the whole storyline. They going to have that storyline regardless.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:So I feel like this is the match where, if Seth Rollins is not hurt, this is where he cash in at. That being said, I want to go down this pathway real quick. I'll talk to Sarah, you can go with me. Let's say something. Don't cash in, though, and I'm wrong. That John Cena wins or Cody wins you got both of them is going to be off TV for a while, yeah. And then John Cena only got what's it? 12 dates after this one.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I think it's like 12. I think yeah.
Speaker 2:It's either 11 or 12. I know it's either 11 or 12. After that it's August. Do you really want? And I think John Cena goes away for a little bit after this too.
Speaker 1:I think he shows up one more time to build whatever match he has for Clash, because that's next. I think there's a Saturday. They showed it. Let me see if John's here it's winding down.
Speaker 2:He's basically done, he's almost done. You really want him to have a title Because then it's like you having a part-time champion. You having a part-time champion, like everybody's complaining with Roman was with either John or Cody winning. You getting a part-time champion, at least for the next month or two.
Speaker 1:so it makes sense for it to be self-reliant so after SummerSlam, john Cena will be scheduled for the next three not the next three, but three SmackDowns August 8th, august 22nd, august 29th in Clash of Paris. Obviously, whatever he's doing on those three SmackDowns is going to be built up to whatever he does in Clash of Paris. After Clash of Paris it gets iffy does in Clash of Paris. After Clash of Paris, it gets iffy. He goes to SmackDown on September 5th, raw on September 15th. Then he's not going to be seen again until October 11th at Crown Jewel. After Crown Jewel, he is not scheduled for nothing until Survivor Series on November 29th and then after that he's only scheduled for the retirement match sometime in December 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, that is nine dates.
Speaker 1:Three more dates in their super hair, which I think will probably be between the Survivor Series, probably one or two between the Survivor Series, probably one or two between the Survivor Series and maybe one before the retirement match.
Speaker 2:Okay. So, that being said, if he got two appearances between now, so I'm cool. Even if Seth Rollins don't cash in, I'm still cool with my sister. That means Nassim will be there at least twice. So if he don't lose it here, he's going to lose it at Clash of Pers.
Speaker 1:He'll definitely looking at their schedule. Clash of Pers is the latest he should have that time. It looks like he'll be somewhere full-time up until Clash of Pers, and after Clash of Pers it gets Dicey, it gets dicey boy.
Speaker 2:I'm cool. John Cena at six.
Speaker 1:With Seth Rollins All right All right. So that is our prediction for SummerSlam. I was looking into trying to watch it at a theater because apparently they put this was going to be shown at a theater. Couldn't find a movie theater to watch it at, so I don't know what y'all doing over there. I don't know what y'all doing WWE, but you ain't got no Cinemark. I was trying to watch it. Now I can't, so I'm probably just going to watch it on Peacock.
Speaker 2:Anyways, no biggie, but still I was trying to get the experience is that they fault, or is that our city's fault that we ain't got nothing here? It's our city's fault. Is that our city's fault that we ain't got nothing here?
Speaker 1:it's our city's fault. That's our city's fault, but that's it for Summer. Slim should be an exciting one. I will be watching it live Saturday. Sunday I may not watch it when it starts, but I will catch it. I'll be trying to enjoy my last little bit of vacation on Sunday.
Speaker 2:I can't wait One more day. I can't wait. My plan is to watch both of them. I'm going to be late Saturday. I catch the last one live, but the first couple I'm going to miss I have to re-watch that one, all right, so do we got these last 10?
Speaker 1:Are we doing that? No, no, no, no, it's two and a half.
Speaker 1:All right, but that'll do it for another episode of From Our Perspective. Appreciate you guys listening and joining us again for another episode of From Our Perspective. Appreciate you guys listening and joining us again for another episode. We hit y'all with basically two prediction shows in one, with night one and night two. Y'all know how WWE does. They usually just gives us five or six matches. They gave us 12. But please like, please subscribe, leave a comment, give us you guys' predictions. Especially, do you think Seth Rollins is going to cash in? Is he actually hurt or is he going to cash in? I would like to know. Q would like to know? And also hit that link in the bio for some merch. Hey, the school year is coming back up.
Speaker 1:Your kid might need some school clothes. I'm not back up, it's bad. Well, hey, you can see your kids are a from our perspective shirt. I won't hate you for it. What you hear, so do what you gotta do. Hit that link in the bio. We got some merch. I'm your boy. Dion, thanks again for joining us. Q go ahead and take us home, unless you got something to hate on.
Speaker 2:I do, I do, but I'ma say I'm going to say I'm going to say, but I'm going to say is I don't understand? But yeah, I'll just go ahead and get it off. Mlb wants a salary cap. Now, you ain't had a salary cap all these years. Now I'm saying you want a salary cap. Now, you ain't had a salary cap all these years. Now I'm saying you want a salary cap. And do you think the players? Bryce Harper told the commissioner bro, get the f*** out of my locker room. If you come in here and talk about a salary cap and I stand with Bryce Harper If this is something y'all want, y'all should be there years ago. We play 162 games. Nah, we're not doing a salary cap. And I think the way, especially the way money moves around now, I don't even think the NFL should be on a salary cap. Nah, I don't think the NBA should be on a salary cap. No, oh, the NBA should be on the salary cap. Get as much money as possible.
Speaker 1:And these contracts are going away, like inflation is going up, the price of eggs is going up, the price of everything is going up. Minimum wage is still the same, but you know whose wages is not staying stagnant? The professional athletes. Every year there's a new high, every week there's a new high.
Speaker 2:So hey, so why would you want us to agree to something? Y'all not. Even if I'm a player, it's nothing that y'all can give me that's going to say, hey, yeah, we're going to agree to this. Nothing in this world. So forget saving it. I just want to get that off. Mlb. Don't even try to get the salary cap stuff off now. Now, what I could do is maybe get a max of how many years a contract could be signed, instead of you going to have these 10-year contracts. Maybe put a max in six years or something like that. Maybe do that. But if these owners want to keep paying these big dollars, shoot it. Ain't the players' job to be trying to not get it up, get it.
Speaker 1:Hey, they're going to get every penny. They deserve it. 160 games is a lot.
Speaker 2:Every day in the summer, it's 90 degrees out here and these dudes are playing baseball Get out of here, but it's your boy, mr Bill. I holla at y'all later.
