But you guys know I'm joined by the man, the myth, the legend himself, Captain Hater. Q, how you doing?
SPEAKER_01:Hey, man, what it do, what it is. You're right now the vibes of your boy, Mr. Bell. AK aka say your name up on the spot. Might not put you to mind.
SPEAKER_00:What's going on, Dion? Hey, I'm feeling great for a certain reason that we will get to. I'm still on a high about uh Tuesday, but we'll get to that in a second. We gotta talk about what happened on Monday in the WWE world. Obviously, you guys know we're gonna talk about Survivor Series. That's a couple more weeks away, but we gotta talk about the GOAT John Cena. He had his last Monday night raw in Boston. He's from West Newberry, Massachusetts, also known. So basically he's basically from the Boston area. So his last show in the Boston area. And he did something that he's never done before, and he's beat Dominic Mysterio to become a Grand Slam champion and win the Intercontinental Championship, which is incredible. Believe he's like the 25th person to become the uh become a Grand Slam champion. And honestly, I wasn't sure they was gonna do it, but they booked him to do it. Congratulations to John Cena. He's down to three matches or three dates left. He's got next week in Madison Square Gordon on a Monday Night Raw. He's got Survivor Series that's gonna be in San Diego, and he has his last match in Washington, D.C. on Saturday Snow Main event. Well, we got to talk about him winning the Intercontinental title from Dominic Rosterial to become a Grand Slim champion. Were you surprised that they did that, Q?
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, it was kind of out of man. I was just uh scrolling on Twitter and then I saw it uh it's a the Monday Night Raw General Manager, Adam Pierce, was like, man, it's official. Uh Dominic versus John Cena, which I had seen it earlier on Twitter, but it was like one of those, you know, wrestling pages. I wasn't 100% sure it was real. But then once I saw him say it was official, I said, Oh, they really doing this. I wasn't expecting this. It wasn't no buildup, it wasn't no hype, it wasn't no, it wasn't no nothing. You get what I'm saying? It wasn't no nothing. So to come, it feels like it was out of left field. Uh him beating Dominic. I also thought Dominic was gonna be on a roll. So I wasn't expecting Dominic to lose, especially not now on a Monday night. So I'm intrigued to see how they play this. Because I've been hearing some people talk about how maybe it's time to move Dominic up into the World Championship or to uh challenge CM Punk for that title.
SPEAKER_00:And I was like, maybe challenge him. I don't see him winning it.
SPEAKER_01:I don't see him winning it, so it was like uh okay, maybe it gets CM Punk somebody fresh to be a challenger because you don't want you don't want to do Brian Berker yet.
SPEAKER_00:No.
SPEAKER_01:You won't save that to like a WrestleMania moment, so it's kind of like, okay, it makes sense. So who else? So yeah. But I don't it it surprised me.
SPEAKER_00:I think Dom is gonna, he's gonna go off and have him a little feud with his dad, Ray Mysterio. I believe that's gonna be the Match of Survivor series of Dom versus Raymond Stereo, San Diego. That's the hometown, 619, that's obviously the area code. But I I I was I was surprised, but not shocked. During when John Cena's retirement tour was announced, I thought about maybe he could or should win the intercontinental title since that was the only that's the only title he's never held become a grand slam champion. As the dates started to wind down, I was like, all right, it's less and less likely that he's gonna do it. But they pulled it with four dates left to go, which obviously means his last opponent will probably be the one to take it off of him. With that being said, obviously during the John's the uh last time is nail tournament. Um we had a few people advanced in it. Uh Seamus advanced, and I it was somebody that I don't remember advanced, but we also got some matches. Solo Sakola's facing a mystery opponent. LA Knight, he's facing a mystery opponent this Friday. Curious on see who those is gonna be. Uh Gunter faces Javon Evans, but with the NC Continental title being a part of this tournament now, do you think that changes who you think is gonna win it? Because if you were a betting man, Gunther was the odds on favorite to win this tournament. Does that change your fact? Because I think Gunther's above the IC title now.
SPEAKER_01:Yes, it changed my thoughts about who was gonna win it, because like you said, Gunther already what does an interco another intercontinental championship run do for Gunther? He already did it. He already done it. Unless John Cena is gonna drop it in survival service. Yeah. That's a possibility, but I don't, you know, I don't see that being, you know, likely. So but it goes back to who? Because if we gonna take Gunther out the picture, and I haven't seen Dominic in the bracket.
SPEAKER_00:And I think he'll, yeah, I don't think he'll be in it. I don't think they're gonna do a rematch, but you know, never know.
SPEAKER_01:So the question boils down to who. Then it also makes me question, all right, so who's John Cena gonna face at Survivor Series, and then who's John Cena gonna face at Monday night or in Madison Square Garden? Because he ain't just going to Madison Square Garden and not wrestling.
SPEAKER_00:Yep, he's definitely wrestling in these last three matches.
SPEAKER_01:He's a wrestling, so is it gonna be an open challenger type situation like he did for the U.S. title? Can he write for Monday? Which is possible, but it goes back to who?
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, I I I don't know. Uh people are expecting Legnon, he's probably gonna be shoehorned into this war game match. I mean, I wouldn't I hate it. I'll be a little nervous. I mean, war games match can be dangerous, but it also can be you look like you're doing a lot, but you're really not doing a lot because of what the dynamics John City can be the last person in. He can do to a couple little moves, his whole little little thing, shoulder tackle, shoulder tackle, five-knuckle shuffle, attitude adjustment, and get up out of there. But something he said on Monday was that the Saturday night's main event is gonna be a lot of up-and-coming wrestlers. He said it's gonna be some Evolved talent, some NXT talent. If that's the case, I'm hoping and praying that it's an NXT talent that challenge him. And there's really only three guys that I would like to see it be. Two of them that I think will actually should actually beat him. That's Oba Filmy, Trick Williams, and Javon Evans, who actually faces Gunter in the Last Thomas Now tournament. Outside of those three from NXT, I don't see anybody else challenging him. And then we get to the main roster. I just really don't want to see him challenge anybody else on the main roster. Especially since he faced Dominic Mysterio. So I don't know who it can be.
SPEAKER_01:I was gonna say, only person that's left that I would want to, well, it's two people on the main roster that I would love to see. Well, actually three now, think about it. Uh one is Brian Parker. Yeah. Because he he can get the rub. Two, I still would love to see Carmelo, even if it ain't gonna be Carmelo. I would still love for it to be Carmelo. I would have loved for the best to be him and Carmelo this time, because they both from the Boston area. But they had a storyline they which popped up out of nowhere storyline of him winning the Intercontinental. The other name, I don't know if you've seen it on Twitter, but Montez 4 did like a release a video basically that's kind of like he going solo. Would it be soon too soon to put that to his back, put the Rockets to his back and have him beat John Cena in the last match?
SPEAKER_00:I personally don't think it would be too soon, but I feel like booking-wise, you will want to book him up a little bit before you give him something like that to see if he can handle it. But I think he can handle it, but I don't think they're gonna do that. Montez Force, he's been in this tag team thing for so long, it's gonna take a while to get that. Not saying it's a bad thing, it's gonna take him a while to get that tag team stench off of him. So it's gonna be a while. But I I could I would like those, especially Carmelo. I'm pretty sure he's in the tournament. I'd be shocked if he win it, but I wouldn't be upset if he won it. But he ain't he ain't gonna win it. Yeah, right. So, but I I don't know. I I'm interested, but people are still saying it's gonna be Gunter, and I just I don't really want it to be Gunter, especially with the IC titles on the line. Like, at first I was cool with it, like sure. But now that the IC title is in the picture, I don't even want it to be Gunther, man. You you've had that title. You need to get you need to get your give back from CM Punk. You don't even need to be worried about that.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, but that that is another challenger for CM Punk. To me, it's only Dominic, Dominic and Gunther, and if they turn Jay Hill, if they officially pull the trigger on the turn of Jay Hill, then I guess Jay could be uh uh opponent for CM Punk because like I said, you're waiting on Braun, and I don't think you're gonna give Bronson the challenge. So as far as the world heavyweight title pitcher goes, and I would NXT, like you said, it may, I don't think, I don't think Javon Evans is gonna get past Gumper. Nah, it's gonna be a good match, but he's he's probably not gonna get past Gun. Plus he also got a triple, he's also going for one of them titles in the AAA. He got he's having he's advertised for that as well. So I don't I don't see it being him. I wouldn't be mad at Trick or Obi.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah. I mean Oba just came back. Oba just came back to NXT TV. We'll see what they're going with that. But I would Oba need to be on the main roster, and he needs a title as soon as he stepped foot up there. So Right. But Trick.
SPEAKER_01:Trick also was down at NXT, showing he could carry a brand, and then went to TNA and also carried their world title. So it and Trick has done it as the baby face and as a heel. So he was down there proving he could do it on both, you know, both sides.
SPEAKER_00:So hey, one of them would be nice, but we'll see. I I don't know what they'll do. But we will find out. Obviously, we'll talk about Survivor series in a couple weeks. But let's go ahead. We get we gotta talk about it. Uh unfortunately, a black man lost his job this week. Uh, Nico Harrison, the general manager for the Dallas Mavericks, was relieved of his duties. And it just that trade is looking worse and worse by the day. Anthony Davis is hurt. He has a cast string. Kyrie was obviously hurt. Cooper Flag doesn't look good. To me, that's just because y'all got him playing point guard. Don't have that man playing point guard. Obviously, Klay Thompson don't look good. I think part of that is because they got Cooper Flag playing point guard. Again, don't have that man playing point guard. And to top it off, Luca averaging 40. That trade ain't looking good. Uh apparently Nico Hurtson, he was trying to nudge AD to play because he probably knew his job was on the line and then the Dallas Mavers looked awful. But they was like, nah, bro, that's a calf. You know what's going on. When someone got a calf string in today's NBA, they're not playing with that. You see what happened to Tyrese, you see what happened to Jason Tatum, they not playing with calf string. So they enforced him relieved him of his duties. But you and I both know it wasn't his decision to trade Luca. That was above his head. But he's the fall guy. He had to he had to be the fall guy, but he's unemployed. What was your reaction when Nico Harrison got the X?
SPEAKER_01:My reaction was what it boiled down to was if y'all y'all knew y'all was gonna fire him because let's be real. A lot of a lot of this decision boiled down to the money. They was losing a lot of money because fans were so upset with the Dallas Mavers because they traded Luca, and then everything is fired Nico, fire Nico. They chant and fire Nico. But so you knew it was coming, so why didn't you just do this in the offseason? Yeah. Fire the general manager in the middle at the beginning of a basketball season doesn't do anything. We barely, I don't know. Are we 20 games in? We're not even 20 games in. No, I don't think we I think we're close to 15. But you know what I mean? Like you said, we're not 20 games in. Firing Nico doesn't it doesn't do anything. Because the fans are still, okay, they fought, you fire Nico. Are they still gonna are they gonna come to the games? Because you still you still traded Luca and the team still don't look good.
SPEAKER_00:They uh AD still hurt. Who knows when he's coming back? Kyrie probably won't be coming back until the mid uh 20 uh part of 2026, like what February 2026, March? March. Cooper Flag don't look great. That's man.
SPEAKER_01:But like you said, that's not Cooper Flag's fault. That's their fault because, like you said, they don't they don't have a point guard. It was rumors they were trying to trade for CJ McCollum. That makes sense because even though he's an older, he's older, but he at least be a point guard, he'll be a steady influence on the team in to help out, takes relieve some of the pressure off Cooper. But that that trade ain't that trade has not happened yet. Uh even if it was, me and you both believe that I I believe it was the owner's idea. But let's say it let's run down a rabbit hole then maybe it is it was Nico's idea to trade. It was to trade uh Luca. Cool? The owners still had to approve it. Y'all not asking, y'all not asking them to sell the team, but you can't, y'all not getting mad at them, getting mad at the owners and yelling at the owners for this. It wasn't just a Nico decision. Even if it was Nico's idea, and even if Nico, Nico pushed it, the owners had you, the Detroit Luca doctors, the owners have to sign off on it. And you knew they you that's another thing. You knew those current owners knew it was wrong because they didn't go talk to Mark Cuban about it.
SPEAKER_00:Mark Cuban said himself, if you gave him the choice to divorce his wife or Trey Luca, he's divorcing his wife. He said it out of his own mouth. And uh Chad Chad Ocho Single said it best on Nightcap last night. If you the owner and Nico Harrison comes to you, be like, Hey, I'm thinking about trading Luca, you low key need to fire him just for the thought. Just for the thought. Like, why would you even come to my office with some nonsense like that? Get out of my office. But they all like I said, if Nico came with the thought, the owners are sure, I like that idea. And they did it. And my biggest thing with the whole Luca Trader, sure, you want to trade them. You could have gotten so much more. So much more. Like, you probably could have got at least two, three first rounds and a star player. But you mean you chose to just get what one, what, two first rounders? A D and one Max Christie? That's it. I don't even think it's is it two? Well, it might have been one.
SPEAKER_01:I think it was one.
SPEAKER_00:One first round, AD. AD's a great player. Don't get me wrong, when he's healthy. The man's barely healthy. The only time he's really been healthy is when they had a five-month break between the regular season and the playoffs because of COVID. That's the only time he's really been healthy. That man has never had a healthy season, it seems like. So I don't know. I feel bad for Nick Arson. I hope he lands on his feet. Obviously, he's had a bunch of different jobs. He was he was with uh he was with the Jordan brand for a while. So he'll find himself. He's got he's an educated man. He's got a lot of versatilities. He'll land on his feet, but it just sucks that he's the poster boy for this, probably the worst trade in NBA history. I can't think of a worse trade, but again, Luke averaging 40.
SPEAKER_01:And that's the thing. A D can't let's kind of spice the bank. AD came out of came in camp out of shape. And he said, you know, I normally come like is so then I could play myself into shape. Um, okay, I don't. I've been watching the NBA for a while. I ain't never seen AB like it.
SPEAKER_00:No. He also said, I want to be bigger so I can bang more. Bro, you with the Dallas Mavericks now. Obviously, when you was to the Lakers, they wanted you to play five, but you ain't gotta play five with Dallas. They got uh lively in Gafford. You good, you can be the four like you want to. But who knows? Maybe I was just his excuse. I don't know. But he's dealing with that calf.
SPEAKER_01:Like you said, Anthony Devs came in out of shame. The team started off bad. They should have they should have got a point guard going in. They only going into the season, they only real point guard was D Lo, and D Lo is not a point guard.
SPEAKER_00:No.
SPEAKER_01:And D Lo ain't the D Lo ain't the same player that he used to be. Now, I'm gonna ask you this. Because we talked about it when this happened, because I listen, you know me, I listened to a Brian Winhorse and the Who Collector. And Tim Bontem, Tim Bontems said, then you should trade Anthony Davis and get what you can get and start over new. They brought it up again, so I'm gonna ask you. Do you think that the Dallas Mavericks should trade Anthony Davis and start over new? And trade Kyrie and he get healthy.
SPEAKER_00:Realistically, what can you get for him? His stock, I don't think his stock has ever been as low. Realistically, what what would you be I mean I I'm I'm thinking like what first of all what would you you want back? You look you want a player and probably a first round pick. What player out there do you think, or what team out there was willing to give up a certain player for A D?
SPEAKER_01:What if you send A D to Milwaukee to play with Giannis?
SPEAKER_00:What Milwaukee got for us? I'm sure Milwaukee might not hate it, but what the Dallas is gonna like the compensation. They obviously not well, I mean, the compensation was low. Was crazy what they gave up to get them. But what there's nothing you can get. I mean, if you really starting over is means your ticket sales is already in the dream. Starting over means that ticket sales is gonna be in the dream much longer. I will ride it out because Kyrie's still box office. AD when he's healthy, is still box. They have good pieces. The biggest thing they're missing is a point guard. My thing is you just gotta find a point guard. Uh a game managing point guard. No, not no scorer, a minute, a point guard that can set the team up, run an offense, dish it open. You don't need no score, you don't need no D'Angelo. You need somebody that can flow the offense and help help Klay Thompson get going. That's another one I heard that they might they might try to trade. But again, whose whose stock is lower than Klay's? Yeah, man.
SPEAKER_01:Klay, um can I say this real quick about Clay? I just I'm not gonna address it because this ain't what we do here. But it was some stuff said about him and Megan, and it was blamed on Megan about his basketball play. And first off, don't disrespect that woman. But secondly, and this ain't no shade. This ain't no disrespect to Clay. But Clay ain't been good for like two years. Why are we trying to start outside and blame her? And it ain't got nothing to do with it. Clay ain't been good in two years.
SPEAKER_00:His last season in Golden State, he was awful. His last game, he went like he went like 0 for 8 in his last game. He wasn't good last year. No, he wasn't good last year. Uh crazy enough, he's probably upset. He took a he took a pay cut to play with the Mavs when he could have taken a little bit more to play with the Lakers. But like I said, I don't think he's too upset with being in Dallas. You know, he got him a little something, something, got him some some top tier stuff. So I'm curious I'm sure he's okay being in Dallas. He just ain't playing well.
SPEAKER_01:It ain't don't blame that woman for Klay not playing good. Klay ain't played good in two years. That ain't got nothing to do. I don't know. Back to the trade now. I think I would trade Anthony Davis. He his nickname is Street Close.
SPEAKER_00:I just don't know if you can get decent compensation that you would feel worth it. But is it that would that would make the Luca trade so much worse, too? It would make more is it worth it?
SPEAKER_01:Wouldn't it be make more sense to have a potential high draft pick this year to get somebody to go along with Cooper or next year instead of trying to play it out with AD and Kyrie?
SPEAKER_00:I guess it just depends on uh how you feel about your ticket sales. Is your ticket do you feel like you okay with your ticket sales sinking?
SPEAKER_01:So why do it matter? You might as well try to give them something to look forward to instead of something that looking at it as now because they ain't going down. Yep. And let's be real. And this other thing about I say trade AD and Kyrie, because because you got AD and Kyrie, you're never going to be a bad team. This is as bad as they're gonna be where they at now. So if you keep A D and Kyrie, you never gonna draft a in the uh out in the lottery or like you, you know what I'm saying? You might 14 or worse. Yeah. Low 20s, high teens, low 20s. That's what you're going to draft that forever. You never, you're not gonna get a stock player in that range. So you might as well trade AD and Kyrie and try to get draft pick so you can have a higher opportunity to get a higher pick. That's just my thinking. Do you want to? It's like the the Pittsburgh Steelers situation. Kama's always gonna have them in the playoffs. They're always gonna be 500. So they're never gonna be in a position to draft a great quarterback or a quarterback because simple fact they record is always gonna be too good. But I but they're also not winning championships. If you Dallas Mavericks, Kyrie and Anthony Davis is not guaranteeing you a championship. Even with Cooper Flag developing at a even if he developed at a fast rate, there's this dude named Wimby that plays out west. Come on. And then last time I checked, okay see he's still out west. And they look doing them good too. You're not guaranteed a championship with just Kyrie a Cooper Flag uh Cooper Flag in an AD.
SPEAKER_00:So you might as well start over. And Joker's averaging a triple double, too. I wanted to add that. But you you you kind of set it up. We'll we'll put the Dallas Mavericks to bed probably for the rest of the season because they're no good. But they uh announced the 2026 NBA All-Star Game of Rules. They've been trying to tinker with this for the past few years. It's been awful. Adam Silver, he's been struggling to try to find something that will work. And I don't know if it's work. Uh I I listened to a podcast, they explained it to me. Um I've read the rules here 10 minutes ago. And personally, I still don't understand how this is necessarily going to work. But from what I'm looking at, from what this thing is saying, is three teams, two USA teams, and one and one world team. There'll be four games, 12-minute quarters each. It'd be a round robin. Each team plays the other two. The championship would be the top two from the round robins meet in game four. And one thing that I do understand is how they're gonna they're changing up the all-star selection. It's gonna be the seals, it's gonna be two or four teams, 12 from each conference, but they're doing away with position base, and it's gonna be all based on all-star voting numbers and the top, the top all-star voters, which also means the top players, which is gonna get the top five players. And the first thing I thought of, and first thing they said on the podcast, is the top five players are international players, so that's one thing, which also means the world is probably gonna do USA bad in this little round robin game. So I don't know, I I'm confused, I'm not necessarily sure how that's gonna work. We'll find out in February. But uh, how you feeling about this newly inputted all-star weekend?
SPEAKER_01:So, okay, my assumption would be because it's still 24 players. So it would be eight, sixteen, so it'd be three teams of eight. So it'd be eight internationals. So we already know the five, right? When be Luca, Giannis, Joker, and uh SEA. So then who's the other three international all-stars? I'm assuming you because you gotta have three more. I get after we do the top five, I'm trying to think of who would be the other ones. Sabonis, Jamal Murray, uh dude from Finland. Uh Lori Larry Marking. I'm trying to think of who uh who the other three uh foreign all-stars would be. Ah, foreign to all to play down in Orlando. I forgot about it. Yeah. Um here's the thing. We talk about this every time we talk about this that goes all-star, bro. And I say the same thing all the time. Man, none of this matters if the American players don't care. If the NBA players don't care about the All-Star game, it's never gonna it's never gonna be nothing. The NFL realized, oh, our players don't care. And it's also beneficial for us for them not to care so they don't get hurt in the pro bow. Basketball, you can go out there and fake through the motion. NFL you can't. That being said, they just faking it. They just everybody gonna shoot. Ain't nobody playing no defense. Ain't nobody playing instead of getting the Elam ended. That's it, then nobody played defense till the Elam ended or the fourth.
SPEAKER_00:Scores are 180 to 160.
SPEAKER_01:Bruh. And then you got things, dudes ain't care about the man, dudes ain't care about the all-star games since COVID playing in it. Yeah. And why would they care? It's an exhibition. I get a little, am I even getting paid for this if they do? It's very little.
SPEAKER_00:It ain't worth it for them to curb. And like, I I know people like, we'll just pay them more money to take it more serious. They already getting paid millions of dollars. Yeah, so like, come on now. Is that is that really what they is that really what they need to do to get these guys to play tough? Like, I I think the biggest issue, and you see all the clips every offseason, hell. I go to the Derbo every now and then. They playing tougher in these summer tournaments, in these pickup games in the summer. Yep. So I think that's the biggest issue. But I don't know. I'm not I'm gonna watch the three-point contest, I'm gonna watch the dunk contest. I really haven't really watched the all-star game in a while. Now I think I think I did watch it last year because obviously we gotta talk about it. I gotta I gotta watch to see what we gotta talk about, but I haven't been interested in it for a while.
SPEAKER_01:So, uh Can I uh can I say something? And it's all about it's about All-Star Weekend in general. The the highlight of All-Star Weekend was always the dunk contest, right? Can we can we call a spade a spade about why the dunk contest don't matter no more? Then I put star du stars ain't in it no more. That's the biggest point. And do you know when this started? Well, LeBron didn't do it. As much as credit as we give LeBron and all the great things he did. LeBron James killed All-Star Weekend. Not the whole weekend, dang. Everything was built around the dunk contest. You had this phenomenal town going to go down as either one, two, or three of the greatest players of all time. All the time. And he never attempted the dunk contest. Kobe did he. Of course, Vizcar did he.
SPEAKER_00:I think the one worst bad thing about LeBron, when he was with Miami, he played in our face during the warmups. Was doing that.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, all the time.
SPEAKER_00:Played in our face. Like, damn, you're doing all this. You can't do a dunk contest. And I get it.
SPEAKER_01:He got a he got a brand that he was trying to protect. I get why LeBron didn't do it, but LeBron killed an all-star weekend. Now, because LeBron didn't do it, nobody else after him would do it.
SPEAKER_00:No stars didn't. Now there's been some players that did it and became stars, Zachavita Aaron Gordon. But there's been as not been any star like current stars to do it. So I don't know.
SPEAKER_01:And it started off, it started in the LeBron James era. Because Ant Man should have been in one by now. He definitely should have been in one. Zion should have done one. Josh should have done one. But it ain't just, but it was a LeBron James era. But like me and your first player, Dwayne Wade, he didn't do one. No. He should have done a dunk contest. Yep. Everybody called him Flash. He was known for attacking the basket. Dwayne Wade should have done a dunk contest, but he didn't do it. It wasn't. Maybe I should have said LeBron. It was that Aura. Well they call it the LeBron era for a reason. But it was that Aura who ruined the All-Star Wiki. Because they didn't play hard and they didn't do the dunk contest.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:The last one was probably what, Dwight Howard? I was already saying the last big time star that did dunk contest was Dwight Howard.
SPEAKER_00:Yep. Then they got G League players coming up to do it. It is what it is. Before we move on to the next, we gotta we gotta slide. We gotta talk about a little something real quick. The Cleveland Guardians. They got a couple pictures that looks like they might be going to the big house. Emmanuel Clace and Luis Ortiz was indicted in pitch rigging scheme. So, in other words, they was giving they was telling somebody, hey, when I go out for the second inning, I'm gonna throw a ball. And it looks like they have actually changed the rules now or changed how some of these sports books are doing things, where they put a max limit on how much you can bet on pitches now. And you can't put it in no more parley. So uh quick thoughts about how these guys is ruining their careers. They're making millions of dollars, but they chose to ruin their career for like about five, ten thousand dollars to help out somebody.
SPEAKER_01:Well, sixty. A little more, not too much. One of them's got to sign a contract for like$100 million or more. You know what I mean? Um so my first my first thought was, man, it's just like the first pitch of an inning. You know, does it really matter? But I was listening to uh, is it Jeff Parsons? I believe his name, the first name is Jeff Parsons. He works at ESPN and he talked about the statistics, the big, the big switch switch and the statistics from when a pitcher, when a batter is up 1-0 or down 0-1. The way how aggressive they are and how they attack the plate, everything, how they protect the plate, everything changes from being up 1-0 to 0-1. In my head, my first thought was it's not that big of a difference. These dudes, they they could be facing up 50 plus years of jail. I'm like, they don't deserve 50 plus years of jail, which I still feel that way, but I didn't think it was a big deal, Dion. I ain't gonna lie. I was just like, man, they were stupid. That was my first thought, you know. Well, my first was like, they stupid. But listening uh Parsons, uh Jeff Parsons talk, it's a it really is a big deal, and they probably shouldn't be banned from baseball. Yep. Because it might people think it didn't have an effect on the game as a whole, because it's just one pitch, but it did have an effect, it had an effect on how that batter took um played that at back, and it changed his movement, which made the movement in the rest of that interchange. But like you said, I think now you can only bet up to$200 on those type of bets, and like you say, you can't put it in a bar like, but these over you a bet men, and I'm not, so you can speak on this better than I can. But those over and unders, those prop bets, if gambling is gonna be illegal, all of those bets is gonna have to come to a head. And they probably gonna have to stop. It's probably gonna have to be uh over, if the or you know, whatever, or win or lose. It's gonna have to break down to be that simple because gambling has be gambling has become so massive that yeah, it's they're saying it's dudes that's just now turning 18 already having a gambling addiction because of the simple fact they've been gambling since they was like 15. Oh, because the casino's right here. The casino's in my hand.
SPEAKER_00:You don't gotta swipe no ID to get in on the phone.
SPEAKER_01:Well, parents put it on your phone, they ain't really tripping. They, y'all look, you spend your little$20 allowance, they ain't really thinking nothing of it, but it had it's creating a problem down the line.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, and we'll we'll talk about uh college a little bit more, but hell, there's a Texas man out there who's going to jail for threatening some people, uh Louisville head coach and quarterback, because he lost his parlay. I think that's gonna be the more so the reason why, if this betting thing comes ahead, somebody's gonna lose some money or something that they shouldn't have put down and they're gonna do some damage to maybe harm to a player or something. Hope not, knock on wood, that that doesn't happen. But if something like that happens, I wouldn't be surprised if betting and gambling becomes illegal or they they cut it, they cut it down significantly. Because you can't you can't have these players life in hand because they didn't hit a shot or something. Like that's that's something you can't do. So that that's gonna be an issue, but that man has been arrested, and Texas men at that has been arrested. So it's all coming ahead. Um some breaking news though, while we're on. The NL MVP has been announced. No surprise here. Shoe A Otani is fourth MP, his third in a row. The shocking one, the AL MVP has also been announced. There were two guys that was in the running front from our perspective. Kyle from uh the Seattle Mariners and Aaron Judge. They gave it to Aaron Judge. So he has three MVPs now. You think the catcher, the home run uh leader last season, Cal, did you think he got snubbed? Big Dumper, is that his nickname?
SPEAKER_01:Big Dumper or something like that. I knew Aaron Judge was gonna win it, but I was hoping Cal was gonna win it. But I at the end of the regular season, like I said, I started watching baseball a little bit this year. And I was looking at the numbers, I was watching people talk about them. I was like, yeah, Earl Judge is gonna win it again. And then the show hanging, like you said, really wasn't a surprise.
SPEAKER_00:No.
SPEAKER_01:Sohei Otani win it in unanimous. It wasn't really, it's not really a surprise. We knew that, we knew that what that was. Me and you talked about it a couple weeks ago. Sohei Otani is gonna be is going to go down as the greatest baseball player of all time.
SPEAKER_00:Yep.
SPEAKER_01:So him winning another MVP, especially off the season that he had. It's not surprising. I wanted, I wanted Cal to win, but I knew Aaron Joseph was going to.
SPEAKER_00:Yep. So I agree. Uh but let's go ahead and slide over. Uh so Tuesday, obviously, if you guys don't know, Captain Hayter, his birthday was Tuesday. So let's wish Captain Hayden a happy belated birthday out there. Go ahead and drop that in the comment section. But he got gifted a very nice birthday present by his favorite college team. Also, my favorite college team, the Louva Cardinal Cardinals. They faced our arch rival, that team in blue. And they people, you know, some some some new fans of that team in blue saying it wasn't a domination. But it was a domination. I was describing it to one of my friends. It's basically how every game has gone against that team in blue, but in reverse. Because usually that team in blue was always the more challenged team. They come out, they dominate, they get like a 15-point, 15 to 20-point lead. The other team comes back and fights back. Because you're not, you're not gonna go out like that against your rival. You're gonna fight back. Bring it within five, give them some hope. Then the better team actually uh go ahead and knocks it, knocks them out at the end. That's how it went, but in reverse, the Louisville Cardinals, they finally get a victory over that team of blue after losing, I believe, three or four in a row. I don't remember. I don't even try to think about those. But I know our last win was in 2020, I believe. But we finally got one. How do you feel about them getting you that win on your birthday?
SPEAKER_01:Not gonna ask for a better birthday, man. At the end of the day, my birthday boiled down to this one game.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:Everything got back to the uh had some family over. It was nice. Um, the birthday gifts I gave, got a bunch of Tennessee Titans stuff. All of that was nice. I enjoyed the dinner we had, the sweets, all of that was great, but it boiled down to this one game. Because it was could have our way could have flipped and wouldn't have been forgotten about if Volover had lost their game. Because like you said, we had lost to the that team up up the road and down the road in Lexington for a while. And I kept saying we need this W. We need this W this year. We need to beat that team in blue this year. Because we can't keep losing to this team in blue. Also because of simple fact I think it's gonna be a struggle for the women's basketball, which is the one we normally win all the time. I think it might be a little struggle this year with that team in blue. And then football. We should win. We should, but who knows? I also know that I also know the football plays down today competition. So I was like, we need this one. Because we might not get them other two, and them was the two we supposed to get. You know what I mean? Like, I can be real, be real on the pod. It's supposed to be a struggle with them other two.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:So we needed this one. Oh man, I was I ain't gonna lie, though. I was at I was happy. Smiling from here to ear. It was a great night. It was a great night.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, I bet. Again, go ahead, pop it in the comment section. Happy late birthday to Captain Hater. Uh, but speaking of the football team, they hit let us down last week. I was watching the game, I was upset. So that win on Tuesday meant that much more because the football team let us down. Uh Louville actually plays today, depending on when you listen to it. They play Clemson on a Friday night. Gary, how was your confidence level? I know the ACC is in shambles right now. Our chance to make the playoffs is very slim. Our chance to make the ACT championship game is very slim. How are you feeling about tonight's game?
SPEAKER_01:My confidence level at a scale of 1 to 10 is a four. Yeah. And um we shouldn't have lost the land. Don't get me wrong. Cal is a good team. I think we forget how good of a team Cal had been playing up because they they started off the season high, then they kind of went on a little rough patch. But we shouldn't have lost that game. No. We shouldn't have lost that game. So Clemson coming in. Clemson still killed Clemson. They still got talent. Yeah. And Debo still can coach. Dabo. I said Debo. Dabo can still coach. So my confidence level is a fool. And what we did to them on Nate Turf last year. Yeah, you know they want their get back. Yeah, they're gonna want their get back. So yeah, my confidence level is a fool.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, I'm not very confident. Uh I'm it's hard for me to check out a football because I'm I'm a football guy. So I'm gonna be watching. Uh uh for a little bit though, I was debating on if I should go. It's the it's high school playoff season. I was debating on checking out my old high school. They had a playoff game against a team. So I was thinking about going to that or going to or watching a Louisville game. I'm still debating, but I'll be keeping an eye on that Louisville game schedule still, regardless. But um this week, college game day, they had Pitt versus Notre Dame. You know, like I said, ACC's in shambles. Who knows is gonna win? They're looking like a one-big league team. Uh, outside the college game day game, there's really not much that stands out at all. I mean, we got Iowa versus USC, that's a ring match. Oklahoma versus Alabama, big time match. Nothing else, nothing else sticks out. Nothing else, and I'm gonna talk about this Notre Dame Pittsburgh game a little bit, but nothing sticks out of this week's slate. So how you spending your Saturday? You I know you're gonna find something. Uh Oklahoma, Alabama, is that's gonna be a good game.
SPEAKER_01:Uh that probably bad. Like you said, uh, Texas play Georgia. You, you know what I'm saying? You just cut the SEC out all the way.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, I when I was scrolling through it, I didn't I didn't I didn't see that. So yeah, that's a good game.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, no, so I uh I'm gonna, you know me, bro, it's Saturday. I'm gonna take the kids somewhere Saturday morning and let him do his thing, and then I'm gonna come home and watch Cabinet football. That's what I'm gonna do. Uh hopefully ESPN get their app working so I can hear it. DI it works in one room, but then the living room, if it's ESPN, if the game's on ESPN, ESPN too, the app won't work in the living room, but it'll work in the other room. It don't make no sense to me.
SPEAKER_00:But anyway, if y'all, if y'all go on strong on YouTube TV, y'all y'all gotta make sure your app is working, man.
SPEAKER_01:They done brought CEOs of both companies in, but they still fall apart. Why did y'all report the news if we ain't getting no closer? My sister asked me today, all right, man, what are we gonna do? We leave TV or what?
SPEAKER_00:But uh back to the college game day game. Uh Pittsburgh, another day versus Pittsburgh. They are in Pittsburgh. Uh Aaron Donald is the guest picker, but I don't really want to talk about that. I want to talk about the Pittsburgh head coach, Ped Narduzzi, on what he said in his pregame um press conference talking about this game. So I want you to think about listen to this, and imagine your head coach and your favorite team says something like this. They asked him, Do you feel like this Notre Dame game is a must-win? Keep in mind, college game day. The world is gonna be watching his words. Absolutely not. It is not an ACC game. I'm glad you brought that up. It's not an AC game, ACC game. I would gladly get beat 103 or 110 to 10 in this game. They could be up 100 on us as long as we win the next two ACC games. But he he did say something like, but uh we're full, but I am focused on Notre Dame. He slid that in at the end. Well, what you what you doing if your coach says something like that?
SPEAKER_01:He's wrong for saying, but he does have a point. I mean, when you read it to me, I'm like, he's wrong. You don't want your head coach to say that. Every game matters. You need this because it could be a statement win if you win the next two, so your playoff hopes look better if you lose in the championship game, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. That being said, he kind of right, though. Like, you gotta win those two games because those is the games that's gonna get you in the in the uh the ACC championship that could get you in the playoff. It's not a game we in. At the end of the day, it only do so much for you. Yeah, and tweeted it.
SPEAKER_00:I tweeted it like he's not wrong, but that's not something you say out loud. That's something you say in the coaches' coaches meeting, coach's office. Hey guys, we I I we only really need to win this game, but you know, in the interview, hey, every game's a must-win. But he said he said it out loud in front of the cameras, in front of the microphones.
SPEAKER_01:This game's more important to Notre Dame than it is. Because in fact, Notre Dame can't afford another loss. Showcase. Notre Dame can't afford another loss. So Notre Dame needs this win more than Pitt does, which is crazy to say. But Notre Dame, they got it, they had a tougher schedule. So, yeah, no, it's you don't want to hear the head coach say that, but he ain't lying either.
unknown:No.
SPEAKER_01:What you want that man to do?
SPEAKER_00:Did I hear him lie? Yeah, personally be like, hey, I'm focused on Notre Dame. Every game is important for us. That's what I would like to have him say. You ain't you ain't gotta lie too much. Just say, you know, every game is important.
SPEAKER_01:That's all you want to say. You're right. You're right. He could have worded it differently. He could have even, he could have even said, this game's important to us, but it's more important to know the name because of their playoff hopes. We still have the opportunity to make it to the playoffs if we lose this game because of the simple fact we gotta take care of the ATC game, uh ACC opponents. He could have said it like that.
SPEAKER_00:But talking about getting blown out about 100, it's kind of like uh that's the one part you really don't need to be saying out. Like, yeah, I'll be okay getting blown out by 100. Yeah, you tripping. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You don't say let's go ahead. Let's we're going to slide to the NFL. Before we get to our NFL pick pick'ems, we're about halfway through the season. Uh we kind of know what each team is. Uh let's go ahead and talk about a couple awards. Uh first off, as uh um pulling up insert sports book here, so I can see what type of odds out there are for some of these um for some of these uh NFL awards.
unknown:Okay.
SPEAKER_00:So let's get to it.
SPEAKER_01:Hey, I know uh MVP is the one that I'm interested to see what the sports book got it, because in my eyes, I don't know who they're gonna pick. And if I was the MVP goes, because it's so many options. Quarterback, and then of course you got uh outstanding running back like you did last year.
SPEAKER_00:So uh let's go ahead and start out with Comeback Player of the Year. Me and you both said Dak is basically shoe in the winning. They actually we had a new man enter the chat in this, and he is no longer Dak is no longer the favorite, but we have Kish Christian McCaffrey now the favorite. How you feeling about that?
SPEAKER_01:I still think it should be Dag.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:Personally, I still think it's I think it should be Dag, but I could be, you know.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, Dak.
SPEAKER_01:I can see why, but I still think it should be Dak.
SPEAKER_00:Uh next up, defensive player of the year. Before I tell you who's the favorite, who do you think is defensive player of the year so far?
SPEAKER_01:First of all, I think it's defensive player of the year. I know he can't be defensive player of the year because he's on a bad team. I watch Mel Gary have like four or five sacks in a game. Like that bitch is different. But he played on but he played for the Browns, and they ain't no good.
unknown:They're not.
SPEAKER_00:They're not, but you are correct. He is the he's the favorite, and a decent favorite, too. Uh Michael Parson is behind him. But Miles Garrett is the favorite. So, hey, you you you on to something. Uh other names out there, Nick Benito for the uh Denver Brockle. He's been playing well, so he's down there at fourth. So I I like him. Defensive rookie of the year, uh, obviously the the main guy people was talking about is Abdul Carter. He is no longer the favorite. The linebacker from another, again, a bad team, the Browns, Carson. I don't, I ain't gonna even mess up your middle name. But I do know you because you was at UCLA, and I was hoping my Cowboys picked you up because you were a good linebacker, but he is the favorite. So shout out to him. Uh outside of that, also while we're here, obviously uh Travis Hunter, he's out for the season. People probably had him as possible defensive player of the year or offensive uh rookie of the year. He's out for the season. Do you think that has something to do with him trying to play both ways and think they'll they'll do it? Did they try it again next season?
SPEAKER_01:I don't think it had nothing to do with him playing both ways, but I also don't I don't think they'll try it again next season. I think they'll let him focus on either or next year. My always thought was he should focus on defense and then he could be on your five or wise or your four wise, he could be that fourth or fifth wide receiver.
SPEAKER_00:Me and you are in 100% agreement with that, because that's that's the best way to utilize him from my perspective. I think he's a much better cornerback. I think he's just he's an athletic guy and he's athletic with ball skills, and he can you can play him out there receiver. So I agree with that. Uh NFL Offensive Player of the Year is Jonathan Taylor. Unless something happens, it's gonna be Jonathan Taylor. Uh behind him is Jackson Smith and Jigaba. You might as well just go ahead and chill. L Ward might as well start heading to Jonathan Taylor's crib, though. Jonathan Taylor's.
SPEAKER_01:But Jackson Smith, I ain't gonna do the last one. Um he balling out there. Oh, he's looking good. Shout out to Sam Donald, man. What was it? It was it last I was it last game of the game before? He Sam Donald just threw it up. He just they fell like right in the basket. He caught it when the defenders draped all over him. Yeah, nah. He brawling.
SPEAKER_00:I can see why he's number two. Yeah, and in uh looking at the odds, is Jonathan Taylor, who is minus 320, which he's a heavy favorite, Jack Smith and Jigma, who is plus 230, which he's a little distance behind him, but he still got pretty, still not too far. But after them two, it is a huge gap with Puka Nakul at plus 5,000. So it's John Taylor and Jack Smith and Jigma. Those are the only things. What's dude's name for Tampa Bay, the rail receiver?
SPEAKER_01:I can't think of his name.
SPEAKER_00:Mecca Obuka.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, he ain't even in the he should be, I would think, top five at least. Right?
unknown:No.
SPEAKER_00:Let me go back and see if I can. I they actually do not have Offensive Rookie of the Year on here. Yeah, I don't see Offensive Rookie of the Year on here, right? I don't know why. But he is my offensive rookie of the year. Smack Jack um Mekabuka, he's saving. He is him in back midfield is balling. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:But I think it, like I said, even like of course rookie of the year, but he also should be in the top five of just Offensive Player of the Year from my perspective, because the way he's been bowed out, especially here recently. Imagine, I know it kind of started like, you know, a couple weeks late into the season for you, but still.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, for some reason, they do not have uh AP NFL rookie offensive player of the year on here listed. Um that's that's this sports book. I don't know, maybe another sports book, one of the sponsors that has it. I'm just you know, just saying. Just want to put that out there. But let's go ahead and get to the big award. And I'm looking at this eyes now of this certain sports book, and I'm actually shocked who is the favorite. Uh, before we got on the podcast, we I I asked you, I feel like it's between two men, and a quarterback with gaudy stats and um Jonathan Taylor. Matthew Stafford versus Jonathan Taylor. I would love Jonathan Taylor to get it. But of those two, Matthew Stafford is ahead of him. But there is a player ahead of both of them, and I'm not sure why. I'm really not sure why. Uh quarterback. Is a quarterback.
SPEAKER_01:I got I gotta give me three guesses.
SPEAKER_00:Daniel Jones is not Daniel Jones, he's not even in the top five.
SPEAKER_01:Okay, I was right. He had two bad weeks back to back, so he shouldn't still be that high. Oh quarterback. McHolmes and Allen?
SPEAKER_00:Nope, neither one of them. Patrick Mahomes is fourth on the list. Josh Allen is fifth. Sam Darnold is sixth. Baker Mayfield? Baker Mayfield, he's down here at 12. I ain't gonna, you know, you're not gonna get this. Because when I look, when I pulled it up, I'm like, what is going on? And I have the game right next to me. I need I'm about to pull up the stats, but he cannot be doing that good right now to put him ahead of Matthew Stafford and Jonathan Taylor. But right now they have Drake May as their slight favorite over Matthew Stafford. Okay. Okay. I don't know if he can't be doing it.
SPEAKER_01:You're playing the Jets for one. He should be top three. But I don't think he should be ahead of Jonathan Taylor or Matthew Stafford.
SPEAKER_00:No.
SPEAKER_01:He should be third, but I do that that you I he it he didn't come to mind. But once you said it, I was like, oh yeah, he they are having a good season, and he's playing good. I don't think he's playing great, but he is playing good. But he's probably playing. If I if you probably look at Total QBR, which I know it ain't the greatest stat to look at as far as quarterback performance, but he probably is top two or top three in that.
SPEAKER_00:So uh looking at his current stat for the game is currently going on, okay. I can the man's 24 for 29, 260 yards and a touchdown. He's he's he's ball, but it it is against the Jets, though. They they just did a fire shell. So I don't know if I still don't think he should be ahead of Matthew Stafford to John Taylor, but maybe it's you know, the sports book is a prisoner of the moment. And well, he's doing good right now. Let's go ahead and raise it up before people start putting money on him. That's probably what it is. They they see that he's doing good, usually how people do it. They see somebody doing good, they rush to put money on it, so they drop the odds at that moment in time. But those are the people talking QBR, yeah. So those are the midseasons. Uh but we can go back to Johnson Taylor or the quarterback. It's gonna be the same thing as last year. It was Saquon last year. And between Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen, it's gonna be Johnson Taylor. Looks like he's got Drake May and Matthew Stafford. Matthew Stafford is balling.
SPEAKER_01:You know, that's the same person who had back injuries at the beginning of the year. He when he played he won't play in the preseason games, which I don't blame him. Um it should be Jonathan Taylor. Who it will be, Matthew Stafford.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, and Matthew uh John Taylor, he's on, he's on track to he's he could he can potentially break LT's touchdown record and possibly break 2000 and maybe challenge Eric Dickens' record. If he gets one or both of those, please give that man the MVP. We can't keep giving it to these quarterbacks. We can. You're right. But that's it for the uh awards. We'll we'll revisit this probably towards the end mid of mid or late December, seeing what they're looking like. But let's go ahead and hit the NFL pickles.
SPEAKER_01:All right, so uh I got 26, you got 25. I had a uh great performance last week. That's what did it because you was up about one the previous week. But uh let's get into it. Uh Texans versus Titans.
SPEAKER_00:Uh Davis Mills look decent. I'm gonna go with the Texans. I think it's I ain't got no faith in the Titans, even though I like Ken Ward.
SPEAKER_01:Shout out to Ken Ward. I think he's gonna uh he gonna he gonna turn it around right now and play his way into the office of uh rookie year. All right, uh Bucks versus Bills.
SPEAKER_00:The Bills are looking shaky. I'm gonna with the Bucks. Mecca Book is gonna get two touchdowns.
SPEAKER_01:I'm gonna go with the Bills because simple fact, man, you can't lose two games in a row. You should have, you know what I'm saying? After that big win.
SPEAKER_00:After that big win against Kansas City. And I did you did you see uh I know I know he's on the hot seat, but that man, I guess he had to troll uh coach McDaniels. He drove by the bar that them Bills fans usually be at. Poked his head out the side of the car. He claimed it was AI, but you know, he's what he just wanted to check on the Bill fans, I guess.
SPEAKER_01:He wanted to have a little more fun before he gets fired at the end of the season. Besides Boy now, too. Um Seattle versus Rams.
SPEAKER_00:Rams, that's a good game. Oh boy, take the over. I'm going with the Rams, though.
SPEAKER_01:Alright. Uh I'm gonna go with the Rams as well. Because they're not by trust damn Darnold. All right, uh, Chiefs versus Broncos.
SPEAKER_00:Um no PS2, even though that's a great defense. I'm I'm gonna go with the Chiefs. They gonna they're gonna have problems guarding Rasheed Rice, Xavier Worthy, and all those weapons out there.
SPEAKER_01:Here's the thing. Like, the Broncos is playing better, but I still feel like the Chiefs is the better team. Mm-hmm. But who needs this game more? Because I feel like the Chiefs have a I could flip a switch whenever, but I feel like the Broncos feel like we gotta win this game. We gotta we gotta make a statement.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah. So they gotta make a statement. The Chiefs need it though, because even though they can flip a switch, you don't wanna you don't want to get too too far behind to when they may have to flip that switch earlier.
SPEAKER_01:Well, I'm gonna go with the Chiefs and because um I don't really feel with the Broncos coach.
SPEAKER_00:All right, um, Lions versus Eagles. I got the Lions. Um AJ Brown ain't gonna be there next year, so y'all might as well enjoy while y'all got them near the Eagle fans. He's ready to get up out of there.
SPEAKER_01:I'm gonna go with the Eagles. And I'm surprised he didn't get charged at the deadline. Alright, so we normally do five, but it was it's a lot of good games this week. Yeah. And I ain't even got to the Monday night, which feature Cowboys versus the Raiders.

SPEAKER_01:Yeah, nah, I'm gonna go with y'all too because in fact, uh, Geno, but he's second in interceptions this season. They finally wrote him back, huh? Nah, I mean, he ain't playing on a good the Raiders ain't as good as the Seahawks was. No. So he's not, he's not, he's not Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson. I could cover up hoes in our team. They can do that. He is a, if everything is good around me, I could be good too. But the minute everything ain't good around me, I'm not gonna be good either.
