SPEAKER_01:

Welcome, welcome, welcome back to another episode of From My Perspective. I'm your boy Dion coming to you live. Thank you again for joining us for another episode. While you guys at it, please like, please subscribe. Go ahead and leave a comment. Go ahead, at least some in the comment that let us know that you are here listening to us. But again, I'm your boy Dion. And you know I'm joined by the man of myth of legend, Captain Hater Q. How are you doing on this wonderful day?

SPEAKER_00:

Man, what it do what it is. You're notified. It's your boy, Ms. Bell. I can't say your name up on the spot. Might not put you to mo.

SPEAKER_01:

What's going on, Dion? It's going pretty good, man. The holiday season is approaching, and I'm getting happier by the day. But we're gonna slide to your bag early. And we're gonna talk about basketball specifically. The NBA. Some history was made Tuesday night as some people's GOAT, not mine, but from my perspective, if he's if he cannot be no lower than number two in your basketball ratings, if you don't have him at least number two, you either don't know basketball or you're a hater from my perspective. But the man LeBron James played his first game this season, his 23rd NBA season, the first player ever to play 23 NBA seasons. So that can go on his resumes of a lot of Ecolades he has accomplished in his historical career. He did keep his streak going and scoring more than 10 points barely as he scored 11 points uh with 12 assists. He went four for seven, two for three from the three, and he hit one or four free throws. So 23 seasons, but this season is different for LeBron from our perspective. It's the first season where he's not the number one option. How you feel that LeBron 23 seasons, but he's not the number one option for the first time ever in his career.

SPEAKER_00:

Before I answer your question, I do want to go back to something you said at the beginning. If you don't have him at one or two, you are just a hater.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

You know I don't got him at one or two, so I guess I am a hater. It does kind of fit. You know, it kind of fit. What's that? My son asked me how the time who's the go today. And 90% of the time I always say, man, I think the reams the go. My two switches between LeBron and Michael, but majority of the time is Michael. So it does fit, Captain Hater. But to answer your question, how does it fit? It is an amazing feat to one to be this good, this long. Because even Ed, like you said, LeBron's not the best player on his team, but he's still a top 15. Top 15, top 20? I guess fair to say. A lot of people put him higher. I'm just gonna be realistic. I I'm confidently top 15. Yeah, I I say, yeah. So to be not only be still playing good this time this long, but to still be in that level of class of players when it's dudes that's 23 playing, and you've been in the league for 23 years. That's an amazing feat, and that's a shows how great a talent that LeBron is. Also, how well he takes care of his body. Because I seen uh uh I seen Gilbert Kenya and Mark was talking about how many they used to we used to drain all that, you know what I'm saying? We were sweating out doing the game. But uh uh Gil was like, yeah, but y'all was looking at like 33, 32. This man, who is I was LeBron, you know, LeBron didn't get why. But he's still playing at this at this age at the uh at the skill level that he's still at. And like you said, he put up a double dope in his first game back after missing a month at the beginning of the season, which I also don't, I'm sure there's some pain LeBron was feeling, but I really feel like it was more of a man, I've been doing this for so long. Y'all gonna start the season. I come holler at y'all in a couple weeks. And we'll see how we'll see where it's at. I do find it interesting. This is more like a deep, well, not gonna say deep dive, but I find it interesting that, like you said, not only is he's not the best player, he this is the first time he's going into there's no contract next year. Because normally he has like a player option. He never is like, he's really gonna hit, it's gonna be the first time he hit free agency since he went to Miami. And and a lot of assumption is next year is going to next year is going to be his last year. So I'm interested. I'm interested to see what the offseason I'm interested to see what the off-season brings for LeBron.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Does he still because I don't see him going to some like random, I don't see him going to Phoenix or Houston and like I'm it's gonna be my last year. I feel like it's gonna be one of the three that he already played with, unless he goes kicking with Stephanie.

SPEAKER_01:

I I I agree. And and I mean, I I hate to be that guy. We'll talk about it after we talk about some other trade rumors. But Adam Silver, if I'm him, hey LeBron, I need you to announce that this is your last season. I don't need you to be like Tim Duncan or some other players where after the season, yeah, I'm done. We gotta give you that. We gots to give you that farewell tour. Because it's good for business. Because every city you're gonna go to, them stadiums are gonna be packed, them jerseys is gonna be uh selling out. I need you to announce this farewell tour. And I think they will. I think they will. Obviously, just the uh thought of LeBron mentioning that he might he announce that he was gonna have an announcement. People freaked out, ticket prices rose, people trying to sue LeBron because ticket prices rose. But I feel like from Adam Silver, I I hate to be that guy, LeBron, but please announce that you're having a farewell tour, please, because you got to.

SPEAKER_00:

But LeBron is the type to announce it, though. He is the hey, I want all eyes on me because he does have that personality.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

That uh, hey, it's my last year, so all of y'all need to be paying attention to me laying flay laying roses at my feet. That's LeBron James. So he's he's going to announce it. That's why I didn't think people still have been talking about this might be his last year. I'm like, nah, because he would have said it already.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, I agree. He would have announced it. I think Kobe announced his a little bit towards the mid. Not probably like it was probably like one-fourth through the season when he announced it. I think it was like by like December, before this in December when he announced it, it was his last season. Um Wade and Dirk Tobinsky, I remember they had their little farewell tour. They announced it probably like the middle tour before the all-star game, they announced that this was their last season. And shout out again, I love that Adam Server did it, even though they wasn't all-star players. Adam Server's like, y'all on the all-star team because y'all deserve it. So shout out to them. But that was back. But the Lakers are fourth right now, 11-4, adding a 40-year-old LeBron to be 41 next month. How far do you think LeBron can take these guys? You think, I mean, well, Luca's gonna carry them. How far do you think LeBron can help? Because Luca, man, this man is averaging 40 and is in the MVP conversation.

SPEAKER_00:

I think the Lakers are a regular season team. They're going to win. They're gonna win a bunch of games. So they're gonna finish, if I'm being honest, top, I'm gonna say top four in the West. No, no more than five. They're gonna be a top seed in the West. The question is, are they gonna be able to close it out in the playoffs? And I'm just gonna be honest, I do not think they got it.

SPEAKER_01:

Okay.

SPEAKER_00:

And it's no shade, it's no shade. No, mind you, it's no shade to LeBron or Luca or even Reeves to that point. But I just don't feel like they as good as DeAndre Aiden has played this year, I don't know how well he's gonna play when he got a Gore Joe uh Joker for seven games. Or when he got a Gar Wimby for seven games. Or, you know what I'm saying? And then OKC, who gonna answer the Shay challenge?

SPEAKER_01:

Luka Luca been playing better defense, but he ain't he ain't he he'll he'll ch he's a chair with Wheels now. That's how I'm gonna call it. He's a chair with wheels.

SPEAKER_00:

Luca plays good team defense, but that one-on-one, what you need to stop Shay, which you can't stop Shay, but to get in front of Shay, Luca ain't gonna be able to do, neither can Austin, Austin Reeves. And then LeBron, oh man. He's 40. He wrote you, man. What we no so and then that even goes to Houston, which, okay, who uh uh Thompson and uh Durant, who gonna guard who? Who gonna guard either one of them? They ain't got enough answers. And I don't know if they once the playoffs because the game slows down, are they gonna be able to score enough points? In the regular season, they can do it. I just I don't know come the playoffs, will they be able to do it? So I think they'll finish a top four, no worse than five, for the regular season, but once they get to the playoffs, I don't have no faith in them.

SPEAKER_01:

Gotcha. I agree, but we'll see. Uh there's a lot going on. Uh, we'll probably talk more about the NBA as the weeks come. Uh I've I gotta, but I gotta ask you this. We talked about it a little bit in the pre-pod, but the Pistons are number one in the East. What are your thoughts, man? Like, I thought they was gonna make playoffs, I thought there's gonna be like in between four and seven, but they are number one in the East at 13 and 2. When they have an 11-game win streak, I had to ask you.

SPEAKER_00:

Like you, I didn't think they would be one of the East. Imagine it is still early, but at what was it, two years ago? They was they it was two years to the date, they was on 11th game winning streak, and two years later, they owned their 11th game winning streak. So in two years, they have completely changed the narrative. Well, actually less than two years because they changed the narrative last year. They changed the narrative of the Detroit Pistons. Um we talked about it with the East. Who do you trust? We we the reason we gave we didn't give Detroit respect is because we thought they was young. But I guess we should have taken account, like last year, OKC was young, but they took her of business. And we can't take into account Cleveland with a lot of injuries. So they, you know, they missing a bunch of talent. Down Mitchell missed a game or two. Darius Garland, I think, only played three games before he re-injured himself. So that plays a part into it, and then New York new coach, so they trying to find their way, and then Detroit brought back the same team from last year. So I think we probably just didn't give Detroit the respect that we probably should have at the beginning of the season.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, it's shocking. Detroit won, Raptors 2. Who had that on their bingo card? I don't know.

SPEAKER_00:

But uh Raptors 2 is also the one, it's kind of like Detroit. You could explain a little bit. The Raptors, well, a lot of it. The Raptors, like who they got?

SPEAKER_01:

I'm not I I know they got um Lefty that's from Canada.

SPEAKER_00:

Oh, RJ Byrne, RJ Burn, Brandon Ingram, Emmanuel Quickly's up there, but you know, B I be putting up a bunch of stats on bad teams. Oh, Scotty Barnes. Scotty Barnes.

SPEAKER_01:

Sure. You're right, you're right. But uh uh we're gonna go, we're gonna talk about the bottom half of these conferences because there's been some rumors. We'll get back to LeBron in just a second because we got something to talk about there. But we got the Hornets and the Memphis Grizzlies. Both these teams are bottom feeders in their respective conference. Both these teams have star point guards, and it's looking like both these star point guards won out. Lamello Ball, who's been from our perspective, he's been an excellent player. I I mean, I'm granted, I've not really watched him that much, especially what he's done off score. But from what I've seen of him in the past, I feel like he's been a very immature player at times. Uh, one video that I see that I haven't seen it in a while, but I used to see all the time is him driving his car outside the arena, cutting off people, running red lights. It just rubs me the wrong way a little bit. But he's still an excellent player. Nothing against him on the court. I just see he seems very immature, but maybe he has changed that in the coming years. And then we talk about Job Morant again, another player who seemed who has been perceived as another immature player. Obviously, you know what he's done, you know, flashing guns on uh IG Live. But both these guys are not happy with their situation. Job Morant is not happy with the coach. Lamella Ball is not happy with the consistent losing. The Hornets have been losing seemingly forever, even when they was the Bobcats. Both of them weren't out. We I'm asking UQ, will they get out? And if they do get out, where can they go where they can be on a winning team? Because I don't I'm looking at these teams. I've seen some teams that probably could use a point guard, but I don't see no teams that are probably willing to give up what's needed to get these two respective guys.

SPEAKER_00:

Alright. So pre-like we pre-Pied, we we talked about this. We could think of teams, but it wasn't really like no serious team because you need, like you said, you need assets to trade. Um will they get out? I don't know if they get out because of the aprons, the NBA aprons, it's kind of hard to do. It's one it's kind of hard to do trades of stars because you can't put salaries together to trade for that player. So it especially during the regular season when people really ain't got no cap room because you have to fill up so much of your account before the season starts, it's really gonna be hard to trade either one of them during the season. But if either one of them's likely to get traded during the season, I feel like it's probably gonna be LaMelo. Because of the simple fact, he's probably tired of deal. And for the reports, the the jobs is rumors, right? People you keep hearing the whispers, but this was Yahoo Sports that came out with uh Lamelo won't help. So I would assume LaMelo would be the one to get traded first. And a team popped up in my head. I don't I don't think they actually have the assets, but I know they're gonna have the want to to get it done because they want to keep a certain person happy. Lamello with Giannis. Because Milwaukee, they did the uh they waived, they were they waved and stretched uh Damian Lillard and they signed up, you know, the trader that left Indiana, who can't get no rebounds. Hey, you seven foot can't get no rebounds. But the trader that left Indiana, and they gave they they basically filled that contract void with him, but they never replaced Dave. You need a guard. Hell, they ain't replaced Chris Middleton. Like we can just keep it real. They never replaced Chris Middleton. Now, I haven't did the you know the trade machine to see how the contracts would work and how you could trade for him. But I Lamelo in Milwaukee with Giannis, Giannis ain't gonna play that nonsense stuff. So you would think Lamelo's gonna mature any any questions about his maturity, that would get solved real quick. But that would, I don't know about you, but I don't know if it would make them favorite in the East. I think it will put them with at least they still probably be fourth.

SPEAKER_01:

Because I don't think that's they're sitting at 11 right now, they're 8 and 7. It could definitely it will definitely bump them up to I say at least 7-6 spot.

unknown:

I think.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, I I would say, well, I would give him higher than that because Giannis before Giannis got an injury right now, but before he got hurt, he was playing at the MVP level. If you give him a a guard that can also carry his own weight, then I think you you push them up a little bit high. I don't think still that'd be better than Detroit or New York or even Cleveland for that matter, even though I think Cleveland's gonna have a bunch of injuries throughout the year. Hopefully they help become playoff time. I will I think I would put him fourth. Because in the East is kind of like, do you I did Orlando train trade for the wrong guard at from Memphis? You're looking like it. Because if you knew Ja was gonna be available, wouldn't you rather not say that Desmond Bain gives them shooting and they do need shooting? So maybe maybe he is he's probably the better fit for the team, but Ja's the better player. I I agree.

SPEAKER_01:

Uh yeah, the the Bucks sounds right. Uh I'm I'm looking through these teams. I'm trying to think like who's on these rosters. I I mean, Pat, I feel like Pat Riley, the Heat is they have bam. I think the Heat is one star away from being more competitive to be to be taken more seriously. I don't think nobody's taking the Heat seriously. I am a pseudo fan of the Heat, and I don't take them seriously. I think they'll make the playoffs, I think they get knocked out. Oh yeah, Wade's not there no more, so it's hard to be a real fan, but pseudo fan, but maybe if they get a LaMelo or a John Morant, it could help them out in this who knows will win East. So, I mean, I I just don't know who that asset is. I know Tyler Hero is hurt at the moment. He's probably you would you would want to keep a Tyler Hero, but I don't know what other assets they have to trade. And but I don't know. I I have to look at that. But I think like I said, the heat, you the you said the Bucks, I'm saying the heat uh in the East. In the West, I really don't see any team that would go after either one of those guys. I I feel like the Rockers would like one of them, but they don't, they not trying to pick up what they got. Um the Jazz, they they still in rebuild mode, so I don't think you would want to go from a bad team to a bad team. So I think it to I think we just said the Heat or the Bucks are probably the only two teams that probably should and maybe willing to do it.

SPEAKER_00:

I did while you while you was talking, I did do the trade machine. The Bucks can trade Cal Kuzma and Cole Anthony for LaMelo in the money matches. Now, I don't know what like draft picks and all of that, because what Cal Kuzma and uh Cole Anthony ain't you know what I'm saying, they ain't lighting it up. So you gonna need you're gonna need draft picks to make that trade go if you uh if you for Charlotte. So I don't know what uh other assets that Milwaukee might have, but that that does work money-wise. Asset-wise, I do none of that. It didn't, I do like your Miami. Miami has always been, like you said, big uh they always been star-hunting. And uh you like we buy you would have to give you would hate to give up uh Tyler Hero, but if you have the potential to get Ja and uh put ja with uh Bam, that's a that's a I feel like that's a better one two points than Bam and uh Dollar. Yeah, it is so or or LaMelo for that, but I'll again I don't bam like look at Melo.

SPEAKER_01:

But people from what I've been from podcasts that I've listened to, the players that's been to Miami, they say that is considered the New England Patriots of the NBA. Okay, heatway. So we'll we'll see, but we'll see. Trade deadline is not until next year before the all-star break. So we will get there, but let's slide back to LeBron again. Uh we talked about we are that we believe next year is his last year. So which means fans probably should probably see LeBron James when you get a chance because he's a Hall of Fame level player. He will be in the Hall of Fame. I don't know how long was it? Is it five years for the NBA as well? Before they changing the rules. Soon as his five years it up, he'll be in the he'll be in the Hall of Pro Basketball Hall of Fame. But your son raised the question that I will let you ask on the podcast.

SPEAKER_00:

So my son, he's a basketball head. He said, if you could watch any Hall of Fame alive, who would you watch? And I said, uh what we talking about? Basketball, football, baseball? Like what we what's what he's talking about? He said, well, basketball. But I'm gonna broaden the question for you. Let's do one of each. One NFL, one MBA, one MLB. We could do hockey, but I mean, we don't know hockey like it. So who would you watch if you could watch one Hall of Fame alive? Who would it be?

SPEAKER_01:

Uh, football was tough for me. My instant gut reaction is prime time of little uh little behind me. My mom named me after Deion Sanders from stories she's there. So that was my instant gut reaction. But as I'm thinking about it, Barry Sanders was electric on that shit, on that field. So I would like to say prime time, but there's you know, he's a cornerback. That's something, and the way they played it with him, they didn't play with him. So I probably would only get to see him do something on pump return or something. But with Barry Sanders, I'm seeing that show every time the Detroit Lions is on the field. So I'm gonna go with Barry Sanders for the NFL. For basketball, it was easy. I need to see Jordan in his prime. I need to see that. I need to see how people, the aura behind that Jordan, you hear about. So it was Jordan in his prime. And baseball, I want to see Barry Bonds. Not specifically, uh I just want to see Barry Bonds while he was on the chase for that home run. Because I remember watching that. That's one of my earliest memories. While he was on the chase for that home run, it was much watched TV. I would like to see that live. So Barry Bonds.

unknown:

Alright.

SPEAKER_00:

So Barry Bonds was my answer. But yeah, remember, Barry Bonds ain't got into the Hall of Fame because the scandal. But but I my thought was Barry Bonds when he was in Pittsburgh, because that was when Barry was defensive player of the year type, as well as with the with the back. So I changed my answer for Barry Bonds because I didn't know how technical he was gonna get. Because Barry Bond should be in the Hall of Fame. So I was like, all right, let me.

SPEAKER_01:

I could look y'all honestly forgot he's not in the Hall of Fame, because he should be.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah. So I was like, well, the reason I did it, it was a a quick second choice was because the whole reason I like baseball, the reason I'm wearing this hat backwards as I am right now, is King Griffith Jr. The only reason I like baseball is King Griffith Jr. Only said Barry Bonds because everybody talks about, especially his Pitts Pittsburgh his Pittsburgh days, he was a different animal. Barry Bonds had potential to go down as one of the greatest baseball players of all time without allegedly doing anything. So that's why I said Barry Bonds. But the reason I even pay attention to baseball is Ken Griffey Jr. So Kerry Griffith Jr. would be is like would be the another would be one of the answers for me. Football, I ain't gonna lie, I was torn. I had three names that instantly came up, and I'm still torn. Because one of them is is Devin Hester on the kickoff return, but that's all he does.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

So it's kind of for your like you said, for your Dion point, is you might have a potential with Dion catching an interception to take it back, but you also have a potential, he might not. Devin Hester might not return one. So it came down to Barry Sanders and then Jerry Rice. So I I settled on Jerry Rice. Gotcha. Because Jerry Rice was just different. And then basketball, it's a cop out, but he's my favorite player. Dwayne Wade. I want to see Dwayne Wade. It's my favorite player. It was either him or Gary Pate. Gary Pate would be a solid number two, but my first stop is Dwayne Wade.

SPEAKER_01:

Wade was my second Wade was my second player. Uh I'm still a little upset at Wade because there was, I think, like two or three seasons in a row. They had a preseason game at the Yum Center. And the one that I was gonna go to, it was the last one. The one I was gonna go to, it was the one that it was the season heat, he went to Chicago. So it was like a pre-scheduled thing, the heat and somebody was gonna play. They came two years, the third year, I was like, Yeah, I'm I got to go. He wasn't even there. I didn't even go to the game. So I'm a little upset about that. But I I see, yeah, yeah. But um, let me go back to if since if Barry Bonds doesn't count, for some reason, the second name that came to my mind was Ricky Henderson. I just see him on the basis because he's a good choice. So if Barry Bonds is not there, so I'm gonna see Ricky Henderson.

SPEAKER_00:

So it as we're talking about this, it's another name that popped in my head, but he doesn't play basketball, football, baseball, not hockey. Who's saying Bo? You saying Bo? Yeah, it's somebody I don't want to see. I'm sure I don't know if he's in a Hall of Fame. I'm sure he is somewhere in somebody's Hall of Fame, but yeah, I would love to see Boat live.

SPEAKER_01:

Hey, that nine seconds is gonna be the biggest thrill of your life.

SPEAKER_00:

Right, because he's gonna pass everybody up and then look back at him like, are y'all still running? You know what I mean? So yeah, nah, hey, he just popped up in my head, but yeah, nah.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, I mean, there's a lot of Hall of Famers that I would like to see live, man. Um, like I talked about a couple weeks ago. I'm trying to see Victor Winby Yama live, but he's he's got a cash string. That's one thing that worries me about buying tickets to an NBA game. Because if I buy tickets to see a player, uh specific player live and that man is hurt, I'm gonna be sick to my stomach.

SPEAKER_00:

So I need to. And you know, that's my squad, so I would love to see them. But if you're paying to see LeBron or, like you said, Victor or whoever, with us being bad, they probably gonna take that game off.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

So it you it's no guarantee you're gonna see the style of that team. And then the next closest team is Memphis, and they ain't like they no better.

SPEAKER_01:

Dope, dope. So we'll see how that thing goes, but let's go ahead and uh get anything else you want to say before we switch gears.

SPEAKER_00:

Um, no, no, no, no.

SPEAKER_01:

No, no. So let's go ahead and switch gears to the NCAA football. Aluval, we're done with you until next week when y'all play the team in blue. Outside of that, we're disappointed. We're not we're not mad, we're just disappointed. Who ain't mad? Yes, we are. I'm mad. I'm I was more mad about Virginia, I'm disappointed about the Clemson loss. I'm mad about the game.

SPEAKER_00:

We talked about it in the beginning of the season. The game, the tough game was gonna be Miami or at SMU. They ain't even played the at S SMU by the time people most some people heard it, they would have been playing it or played it or playing it now. Those were the two tough games. Y'all lost to Clemson, which was at home, which is, I mean, they got the talent, but still, Dabo's Dabo. I get it. But she was at home coming off those losses that you shouldn't have already lost. So you should have been locked in more.

SPEAKER_01:

It's just the way they lost. There's no way you lose that game. You miss an extra point, you miss two field goals. The team, they gave you the game. Oh no, the punter couldn't get they gave you the game and you still lost. We'll talk about a little bit more, but now there's really not much to play for in the season, except for that one game at the end of the season, which we'll talk about next week. But we'll talk about why they might need to change some things going forward. But we gotta talk about some coaching news, two coaching things. Um, one coaching news we knew was gonna happen. We said it. James Franklin is the official head coach of the Virginia Tech Hokie, uh Hokies? Hokies, yes, hokeies. So I mean, I'm sure you're not surprised. I'm not surprised. But no, James Franklin is at uh Virginia Tech. How you how you feeling as a football fan?

SPEAKER_00:

I think it's good, I actually think it's an excellent hire. And Virginia Tech did the smart thing was okay, y'all fired a bad, y'all fired a head coach, a good head coach, because he could win, you know, what we consider the big game. Which I mean, you talked about it. You was very nice to that man. I was a little mean. My apologies. Uh, but but he is a winning coach, and he also produces winning programs. And, you know, he produced a winning program at Vanderbilt in Nashville. But then he went up to uh Penn State, which is in the technically in the middle of nowhere, but you know, they was able to get recruits. He was proven that he could build programs on many levels. So Virginia Tech. Identified early. Okay, this is our guy, and he's gonna be able to do that here. And winning it in the ACC, some people say it's easier. To me, I don't necessarily know if it's easier because the fact in the Big Ten, you got Indiana now, but it's like Indiana, Ohio State, Michigan. Remember the teams you got beat as a word in the ACC. It's you know, Miami. Currently, it's Miami. I guess that's it. You know what I'm saying? Louis will be choked, Louisville be wet in the bed, Florida State can't get it right. Clemson, I don't know what's going on with Dabo, because Dabo still be having talent. But some people saying it's a let's just say what other people are, but Louis is an easier path to the college football playoff, so he won't have as many tough games. So I think and he already proven that he could build a great roster and he get easy for him because you don't I get it's not a big ten or SEC school, but it's not that far of a drop-off. He had to go rebuild his name at like I don't know, Sam Houston. You know what I mean? No, no disrespect to Sam Houston. But you get what I'm saying. So yeah, no, I think it's a I think it's an excellent hire. And you got it done during this season, so he can already be recruiting.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, and already the recruiting stuff is already paid dividends. A bunch of players that was committed to Penn State, obviously, when James Franklin was fired, they decommitted, and now they are committed to Virginia Tech. The world of being a great coach, working well. And I will say, James Franklin, you are a very nice man. I do understand in your contract, you were obligated to find you another job. I understand that. But Penn State AD has got to be happy as hell. I know he's going to his boosters, it's like, hey, we are good. Because it was originally due to pay that man, James Franklin,$49 million. Now they only got to pay that man nine because of this. You are a very nice man, James Franklin. You're a better man than me. Because somehow I I knew he couldn't take a crazy pay cut from Virginia Tech, but I would have took some type of pay cut because I still need that money. I would I'll I ain't gonna lie, I'm a I'm petty. I'm a I need y'all to hurt. I need y'all to feel it if y'all gonna find me like that, especially after all he's doing. But James Franklin's a very nice man, so I commend him for being nice and making Penn State only have to pay him 9 million instead of 49 million.

SPEAKER_00:

But I mean, he getting his money at the end of the day. So, you know what I mean? So I I I he is a nice man, but you know, he's still getting his bread. It ain't like he's losing. He ain't taking no L's for real at the bank. He ain't taking no L's.

SPEAKER_01:

No, he's definitely not. But uh also let's go ahead and uh slide over to Mr. Lane Kiffin, who is the hot girl uh in prom season, where a bunch of people is gearing up to ask this girl, will she go to prom with her? And even so, the current, the current man that Lane Kiffin, uh the old miss AD, has gave him somewhat of an ultimatum. Basically, hey, I need to know by next week if you're gonna be here or if you're gonna take one of these other jobs. Because if you gonna take one of these other jobs, I need to find a new coach. It sucks that in the world that we live in, in the college sports we live in, the AD does have a point. You kind of you kind of need to know. The trans report of windows opens up in like December. You need a coach that you know is gonna be there in December so you can field a good team. The problem is Lynn Kiffin is doing a great job, and they are squarely in playoff contention, and more than likely will be in the playoffs. If you see the playoff schedule, it goes into January. So it's either he tells them, Hey, I'm gonna take another job, and he may have to leave the team early, or awkwardly coach the team and see how far that goes and then leave, or he just tells them, Hey, I'm gonna be here, which I don't know what you do if Elaine Kiffman. He's in an awkward situation. He's the hot girl, everybody wants him, but he's still doing excellent at his job right now. So how you how you playing this if Elaine Kiffin?

SPEAKER_00:

First, you know, he he was on the Pat McAfee show. He said, Man, they ain't gave me no ultimate. It came out, it was too many reports saying that they did. So I I feel like I ain't trying to call the man a liar. But it was way too many reports that, hey, we need to know by the end of the season what you gonna do. Uh, I really think they I don't know, they might not have given him like a horror when when you get back here after the game, you need to come upstairs and make us a give us a decision. But it was kind of hinted at, hey, you probably should let us know what you're gonna do. And I'm saying, you know, about the eggboat would be great. It probably was hinted at. Um if the AD did that, which I believe he did, I think that's the right thing to do, like you said, because of the simple fact, the way that the college, the way the college football schedule is laid out now, is with recruiting and all that on top of the games. I think you have you can't you gotta know. Like we just talked about, Gene Zach already hired that coach. So you already missed out on probably the best coach in this cycle. Because you your coach is flirting with LSU in Florida. I don't really, I haven't really been hearing him connect to Penn State, but he's he's connected to um Florida and LSU.

SPEAKER_01:

He's also he's also connected to New York Giants as well, but that's neither here nor there.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, I don't know. Why would you do that? If I'm Wayne Kiff, I think I stay at O Miss. Because in this era, uh when you had that conversation about who which is the better job. Like we was talking about Penn State, Florida, LSU, and well, Virginia Tech was included in it with that at that time. I said Florida, I believe you said LSU, right? But the more I think about I've been thinking about that conversation every time we talk we I heard something about coaches going to different jobs, I go back to man, he Kennedy produced a winning football team in Indiana. You can win anywhere now. As long as them boost is willing to fork over some money. Yeah, so don't get me wrong, Florida and and even LSU, Louisiana and Florida, they they got five stars around at every corner. But he already shown that he can win at O Miss. So sometimes it's better to stay with with the what they say, better to stay with the devil you know than the unknown or something like that. So the more I think about it, the best job for him might be actually the job that he's currently at. He's he's going as long as he don't like lay an egg versus Mississippi State for the pun, he's going to be in the playoffs. You already proved that you could win win build build a winner at Ole Miss and you got the fans chanting your name. Mind you, that folk, that uh fan base ain't like the LSU to Florida fan base, but you can go down as old misses coach. They can build a statue of you at Ole Miss. You ain't I don't know if you getting that LSU. I don't I don't think he'll get that in Florida.

SPEAKER_01:

I mean you're not gonna be better than Urban Meyer from Florida. I mean, look, I mean he if he wins a couple championships, he could be he could get him a statue at LSU, but he's he's got he's got Les Miles, he's got Ed Ordon, he's got uh Nick Saban to live up to. Oh Miss, he ain't got nobody to live up to. It's him. He's the he's the he's him. But it's it's tough. Like they going back to how this college situation, they're gonna have to figure something out because it's it's a stressful on these ADs, especially if their team is in the playoffs. Because imagine your coach takes another job, but they're in the playoffs. I don't know. I I doubt that it's gonna happen much, but I don't know. We'll see what Lane Kiffin does. I do ultimately believe he stays at Ole Miss. He's built a winner consistent. And it's just it's just there's no need. I mean, some people just like to be where they are, they like to grow roots where they are, and I think that's where he's at. Good luck with LSU in Florida for their coaching search. They'll find somebody they like, but I don't think it'll be less, I don't think it'll be um Lane Kiffin. But speaking of no the way this college, new college football world is, I gotta ask you, Q, should they keep doing these nonsense bowl games that's not in the playoffs? That's not playoff bowl games? I think so.

SPEAKER_00:

Because I seen a I seen a picture of a Boston College player. I believe this is their last home game, or it was uh I believe it was the last home game for Boston College, or it was homecoming or something. And I seen the play of, they had lost the game, and he at the end of the game, he just sat in at the uh end zone and took it all in. And that's his last, probably his last time playing at the school that he worked and fought at in front of the home crowd. I feel like those seniors, these people who ain't gonna make it to the NFL, going to that bowl game is the last time they get to experience, you know, playing with the team, experience the locker room. Because a lot of people, a lot of former players always talk about the thing they miss the most is being in the locker room, being with their brotherhood. So, and I think they you know they kind of change the transfer portal window so kids ain't gotta necessarily go right after they can play in the bowl game and then go. But I think the bowl games is needed because, like I said, it's the last time for a lot of them seniors, a lot of these people, a lot of these dudes, that's gonna be the last time they get to play football, and it's a goal that they worked their whole life for, from Pop Warner until now. You know what I'm saying? You know, it's like a participation trophy, and I know you don't really rock with the participation trophies, but you know, it's all these daggone colleges. Everybody gonna go home, like you said, after next week for Louisville, once they beat Kentucky, if ain't no more goals, it's like, all right, why we even taking that, you know, why are we taking A last game seriously? Because we ain't got nothing. You know what I mean? It's a rivalry for Louisville, so that's maybe a bad example. Let me go to West Kentucky. If they know they ain't gonna make a college football playoffs in the middle of the season, they're gonna start shutting it down.

SPEAKER_01:

Okay.

SPEAKER_00:

So I think it does give the team something to work towards. And, you know, they they get to go to destinations. Now, I do, it's just me. I think some of these bowl games in the middle of the country probably should be cut out. Giddy Giddy's boys somewhere nice to go. I think more bowl should be in Hawaii. Personally, if you ask him from from look from my perspective, I feel like the go the the bowl games should be in Hawaii. You know, uh uh Brazil, Brazil won games. Let's get let's get up, you know. Let's take them boys over. Give them something nice. That's all I'm saying. Why why they playing the no no disrespect to Detroit. No disrespect. But and I know it's a dome, but why they we we sending them to Detroit after a long season? Your reward is to go to Detroit? They going to Idaho, Potato Bowl. Yeah, I mean, what we what? Yeah, I think that out the game should be a warmer, warmer climates. Mexico City. You know what I mean? Like, how our warmer climates should be where the bowl games is. That's the thing, that's the change I would make.

SPEAKER_01:

I'm actually I'm rocking with you on basically a whole argument. Um I'm iffy on it. I understand why, and I understand why not. Obviously, you there is a lot of players that opt out in these bowl games, but for every one player that opts out, it's like 10 players who's never probably gonna play football again after that game. So, yes, I see that. Um to give you some, I've never I didn't play uh Division I football, but I've had student teachers in my high school that played Division I football. I had a a student teacher when I was in high school who played for Louisville when they went to the Belt Bowl, which is in Charlotte, North Carolina. And this is before the NIL stuff, but apparently when they're in that type of bowl game, Belt, if you don't know Belts is basically a store. The Belt, they basically give them a big gift card and tell them, hey, get what you want. So it's basically they got a shopping spree also going to the Belt Bowl. So I imagine it's like that at other bowls. It's just it's hard for fans to care about these bowl games when they really don't mean nothing. The only bowl from my perspective is even somewhat exciting to watch now, is the Pop Tart Bowl. Every other bowl is like, uh, it is. I hope they're having fun, but but I'm still gonna be invested because you know I'm a I'm a a crazy Louisville football fan. But I would like us to go to the Pop Tart Bowl because the Pop Tart Bowl is the only one that even means something because of the marketing behind that. That's probably something that probably should help these bowls. They need to market their bowl a little bit better. They y'all need to take take note of what the Pop Tart Bowl is doing.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, the mayonnaise, bro. They be doing all kinds of crazy stuff with the mayonnaise. They, you know, Pop Tar did uh Duke's Duke's uh is it Deuce? I think it's Duke's Duke's Mayo. Uh the man say it again.

SPEAKER_01:

Like Dukes Mayo mayonnaise?

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, I think it's Duke's Mayo. Yeah, I'm pretty pretty sure it's it. They they are creative, like you said, with the marketing. That being said, I believe both of them games in North Carolina. While North Carolina is warmer, because of the Belgium, my sister used to go to when she lived up in North Carolina, so I believe it's in Charlotte. Yeah, while it is warmer in North Carolina than it is in the middle of the country and up north, I still think the warmer the better. Let's go south, the closer to the equator, the better. You know, or or even it's cold up here, but even Toronto. Take your boys to a nice city. You know what I mean? As a reward, you know, where it's a little cold up here, but Toronto, everything you heard is nice. So let them go play a football game in Toronto or something like that. I don't, I don't, like you said, boys in Idaho, I love the Blue Turf. I would love I one of my goals is to go watch a football game on the Blue Turf. I just don't know if I'm Louisville makes the Idaho Potato Bowl. I don't know if that's the one that, you know, because it's gonna be cold. Keep it real.

SPEAKER_01:

I got layers, but yeah, but we'll see. Uh Louisville will be in a bowl game. We'll talk about that bowl game whenever we get there. Hopefully it's something exciting, but there's one more game that we actually care about, and it's not this week. So we're gonna skip over Louisville's game this week, but we're gonna talk about the slate of this week's college football. And there's one big game, the college game they is at, and that's USC at Oregon. They're bringing back the Pac-12, but it's gonna be at 3 p.m. So 3:30 p.m. So it's not gonna be pack 12 after dark, but it's a pac-12, old pac-12 game. Outside of that, we got Missouri and Oklahoma. Um no, Alabama don't play nobody. Arkansas, Texas is an old rivalry. Syracuse, Notre Dame, Syracuse has a chance to do the funniest thing possible. Uh Pittsburgh, Georgia Tech. By the way, Pittsburgh, y'all look like y'all, y'all look like that game didn't care last week. I'm just saying, you look like it. Coach said it, but you look like it on the field. But outside of that, man, Slate does it you know people know these teams are getting weeded out to the playoffs. Only a couple games actually matter in terms of playoffs. But ULC Oregon is the top game of this week. Oregon, according to the Insert Sportsbook here, is a 10-point favorite. Uh, any other college games you're excited about?

SPEAKER_00:

No, just not. It is that late season slate of like a lot of the SEC schools. If they got the Rivalry Week game next week, they playing, you know, they ain't playing nobody. Um Tennessee, I do want to say I feel like this might be a cap to hate a moment, but I feel like Tennessee and Missouri is only ranked because they're in the SEC.

SPEAKER_01:

Mm-hmm. We got better resumes than them. I just want to put that out there.

SPEAKER_00:

Tennessee, they they're only ranked because of the conference that they play in. Because in fact, they play in a great and they play in this big bad conference, but y'all lose the major y'all lose the majority of the games y'all play. Y'all only beat, I think Missouri hasn't beat a FBS 500 team that's over 500. Nope. But they're ranked. Uh it's all about who you it's all about being in the SEC, which is being, you would think they will want to hype up the ACC because they got a contract with the ACC. You would want more people flooding to watch those games instead of having all your commentators say, oh, the SC, look at how great the SEC is when they all the teams beat up on each other, but when it happens in the ACC, it's like now the ACC is just bad. I don't know. But as far as other games this week, now it ain't it ain't really nothing. Say uh, you know, my late night special, probably Utah State in personal.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah. I mean, we we're all getting ready for next week. Next week is obviously Rivalry Reek in college football. And even if the teams aren't ranked, it's still rivalry. If you remember what it was, how it was last year, fights over, people trying to plant flags on people's fields, people fighting over it. So next week is the week. You know, I'm looking forward to it. You know, you got Ohio State, Michigan, you got Texas AM, Texas, which is gonna be good. You obviously got Louisville, Kentucky, Georgia, Georgia, Tech. So next week is the week. We just know, we just try to get through this week, but you know, we're probably gonna have some type of craziness that happens this week, that affects next week. But I don't know. Let's let's just get through this week. We got two more weeks into the season before playoffs starts. I'm looking forward to the playoffs. Unfortunately, Louisville won't be in there. No, we won't. It's over.

SPEAKER_00:

That's over for us.

SPEAKER_01:

That dream was let's go ahead and slide to the NFL. Oh, I kind of want to talk about you know MVP a little bit. We talked about it last week. Uh I feel like the person that probably should be the MVP favorite had a bye week, uh, Jonathan Taylor. You know, I've been out watching some highlights, looking at some stats, and I'm I'm about to start getting on the Jonathan Taylor train. I think he should be the MVP. He's carrying that team. But how how you feeling though? The NFL season, though. I know your Titans took another tough loss, but y'all got a quarterback.

SPEAKER_00:

We do, but we ain't got nothing else to go along with it. So that's the uh I think that's my biggest issue is as far as my Tennessee Titans is. We yeah, we we got a quarterback, and then Jeffrey Simmons. The d the defense they haven't played horrible, but they also ain't played as good as I thought they would. That's why I thought we were gonna win more games, because in fact I thought the defense was gonna keep us in more games. Like you said, last week was a tough loss. Uh Jonathan Taylor winning MVP. I mean, I agree with you, but we both know that ain't gonna happen. But then Sam Darno shot himself in the foot. Because he threw, you know, four of them things at five. Four or five of them things, which is crazy, they were still in that game. But Sam Darno shot himself in the foot and then Matthew Stafford. Actually, like you watch the game the past couple weeks, is he really the MVP? Because it ain't like he looked that special these past couple weeks. I think this is the first time in the NFE N NFL season that I can remember that the NF the MVP is gonna be giving us a hoodle F it up at the end type situation.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Like who you know what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_01:

Drake made Drake made known to the favorite after what he did last Thursday. Like, what? And it ain't like he played that. He's been playing good, but ain't like he's been playing MVP level good. No, no. And like you, you mean Josh Allen did put himself back in the conversation after his performance Sunday. He's gonna be, I mean, Lamar Jackson. If he starts putting up crazy numbers, he'll be back in the conversation. But I think this is a big week for the Indianapolis Colts. We'll talk about that when we do our pick'ems, but it's I I think I'm gonna get on that Jonathan Taylor trade.

SPEAKER_00:

I agree, yeah, I agree with you. It's not like it's gonna happen.

SPEAKER_01:

So let's go on that NFL Pick'ems. Uh, wait, before I do you have the Browns game on the Pick'ems? No. Well, let's talk about it then. Uh Shador Sanders is getting his first NFL start. Obviously, black people all over the world is rooting for Shador. Most black people all over the world. I can't speak for everybody, but most black people all over the world is rooting for him. He's actually getting first team reps this week after not getting any the last couple weeks, even though he was the backup. But the NFL is, I mean, he's getting thrown a bone. He's going up against probably one of the worst teams in the NFL in the Las Vegas Raiders. So he's getting thrown a slight bone. How do you think he's gonna do in his first NFL start?

SPEAKER_00:

I think I think he's going to be okay. I don't think he's gonna be, he's not gonna wow us. I don't think he's gonna wow us. And also don't I don't think he's gonna look as bad as he did last week because last week you coming off the bench, just getting thrown in the game. Like you said, you didn't have no first, no uh first team reps. So he wasn't able to get in the rhythm. Now he had a whole week of practice. I feel like he's gonna be in the rhythm. I think he's gonna be okay, but I don't think he's gonna be like, you know, go out here and throw four touchdowns and you know miraculously win the game for the Cleveland Browns. It's still gonna be the Cleveland Browns. Um, but people say so when you talk about this, the first team reps thing. Everybody was they making it a big deal that he didn't get first team reps, but if you think if you think about it logically, right? In the preseason, he was what, the four-string quarterback? So why would you give the four string quarterback first team reps? Who? He was the third-string quarterback. Why would you give the third string quarterback first team reps? Now we get to where he was the second team, second team, uh, second-string quarterback, but he's behind a rookie quarterback, another rookie quarterback that needs all the reps he can get, because let's be real, he ain't that good neither. Which, you know me, I ain't got I'm not the biggest like Shador guy, but I also know Shador is better than Gabriel coming out of college. You know what I mean?

SPEAKER_01:

We got eight hours respect respectively. We see it. Thank you. You know what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_00:

It's eight hours between us. We can see that. Um but I that's why Shador, I understand why Shador didn't get first team reps with Cleveland when he was a second string quarterback. Because like I said, there was another rookie quarterback. So now he's going to have first string, uh, first string reps. I think he's gonna be my I would just assume he's gonna be the starter for the rest of the year. Because why would you go back to Dylan Gabriel? You are you seen it. If y'all, I don't know how much more tape y'all need. Y'all need to get some tape on Shadow. So you and then also let's from my perspective, I think they're gonna be cleaning gonna be drafting the quarterback in the draft next year, anyway.

SPEAKER_01:

We'll we'll talk about quarterbacks probably later in the year, but this is not the year you need a quarterback in this Henry Field draft. This draft crazy because coming in, people think, oh, this is the quarterback, this is a quarterback draft. This is not a quarterback draft. You ain't got the top three picks, you might as well go ahead and get you a good player and worry about a quarterback another year. But I think he should have gotten some reps as a second, like like not all of them, maybe one or two. The fact it's the fact that the center said this whole season, he's probably heard this cadence two or three times the whole season. That's an issue to me from my perspective. Um, given my personal experience, didn't play quarterback, I played receiver, but something I did do that involved using the cadence, involved being familiar with the snapper and some things. I did do a little holding. I held for the kicker in uh high school. Uh I was our holder got our original holder got hurt. We didn't have a backup. So the following week we did we had a holder competition. I ended up becoming the second string holder due to the fact that I actually played and they didn't want a situation where I got hurt, they'd be scrambling again. So I became second string holder. Or he was the other he was our third or fourth string quarterback at the time. I will say RIP to him to Black Showwalker. He was the starting holder. But we rotate, we both got reps during the week. Um during during the week with holding. Uh he obviously he got most of them. I got some of them, but I got some of them with not only the first string long snapper, but the second string long snapper. I got more with the second string long snapper, but I did get a couple with the first string long snapper. They did both differently. They did have different speeds. I did it throughout the week and on game day when we did our pregame warm-up. I usually get one rep during pregame warm-ups just so I'm ready. I held in one game, and that was our senior night game. I did one time, but still, I needed those reps so I was comfortable. There was no way that I was going to not get any reps during the week. Something happened to our holder, and I would have to come in. I would know that wasn't gonna happen. I had we I had to use my cadence, my the long the long snapper in the line needed to know my cadence, and I needed to be used to the long snapper speed of the snap. Now it's a little bit different, it's not quite quarterback, but I just wanted my experience of being a second string out there as a holder. I know why he probably should at least get one or two reps, just so you know, just in case you have to get thrust into the situation. You're one hit away, especially at a position that touches the ball a lot like quarterback, you're one hit away.

SPEAKER_00:

I just want to point out, or I agree, I understand a lot you said, but dude, I just want to point out the flakes that you did. You was like, and they put me a second start because you know I actually played. Was that dude? Was that necessary?

SPEAKER_01:

It was it was it was necessary because that's why I didn't win it, I think. Well, I don't know if that's not why I didn't win the job, but I feel like it made me feel better. Like, that's probably why I didn't get it because I played a lot. It's probably not why I didn't get it, but it helped my ego. Just want to point that out.

SPEAKER_00:

It's like the way you said it was like, yeah, I'm too important for that little bitty thing over. So I'll be the backup for this, you know, just in case you can't get it right. That's the way you said it. Look, from my perspective, that's the way you said it was like, I'm too important for this stuff. For this little task that you doing, I'm too important. But if you can't get it right, I can do that too. That's the way you said it.

SPEAKER_01:

I had to help my ego out because I didn't win the job. I had to help my ego. Man, I play a lot. That's probably why I didn't get that's probably why I didn't get the job. Because that's what happened. Original long snap going into the original holder going into the season, he played a lot too. And he got he hurt his shoulder and was out for the season. I just want I just feel like maybe to help my ego out, that's what I told myself internally.

SPEAKER_00:

He said, I'm too important for your little taste. Oh god. My face. Good luck. That's all like that, man.

unknown:

That's all like that.

SPEAKER_00:

Hey, you know what I'm saying? You got an important chance now. You still record that. I hope that I hope I hope it goes well. I don't want it to go bad. I pray that it doesn't go bad. If okay or better. That's all I want for the brother. Okay or better. Because I do not want to go bad because it's oh my god. If it goes, here's the thing. If it goes horrible or if it goes great, oh my god, Twitter's gonna be up in arms. And then it's gonna all over the sports talk shows. It's gonna either be we knew he wasn't that good, or we knew he was great, and he's he's gonna be like the second coming of the time break. Or he's next, he's the next Jercus Russell. I'll leave him for at least a week. Can he just be okay? Or can he be good? Is that not possible?

SPEAKER_01:

I don't think it's gonna be. Can he be competent? That's I mean, that's what's important. Can he be competent? And because I mean, the Browns haven't had competent quarterback play ever. So can he be a competent quarterback? Because that defense is playing great. Uh, Miles Garrett, that um defensive player that your trophy is probably on your way to your career right now. I just probably I don't know how much they're gonna put into that your team being bad, but it's probably going to your career right now. That's a bad man. But let's go ahead and get into the NFL pick'ems. As uh I did send Q a picture of me holding while I was in college uh in high school, so yeah. He was hating a book. By the way, holding is not easy, I will say. It's not easy.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, really I heard holding. All right, my bad. Let's get to the pick'ems. Uh first, Seahawks versus Titans. Seahawks.

SPEAKER_01:

That's all I say.

unknown:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Um Sam Darn throw the five interceptions the game before us. Like, why he couldn't do that again against us? He's gonna pass half touchdowns.

SPEAKER_01:

Uh Colts versus Chiefs. Game of the week, from my perspective. This is a big game for not only the Colts but the Chiefs. Coach really need this win because they they're they dig themselves in a little bit of a hole. Not the Chiefs really need this win because they dig themselves in a little bit of a hole. The Colts really want this win so they can legitimize their championship contendedness. I'm going with the Colts though. I think they the hot team.

SPEAKER_00:

I'm gonna give my classic wins in my Chiefs. You going with the Chiefs? Yeah, I'm gonna go with the Chiefs.

SPEAKER_02:

Alright.

SPEAKER_00:

You better win. It's what the Chiefs is in there. You better win.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Cause now you got if you don't win this game. Oh, okay. So y'all not making the playoffs after just making it to the Super Bowl. Which happens often, but you wouldn't expect it to happen at them. You better win this game, or y'all gonna have a lot of questions to be answered. Uh, next, Eagles versus them boys. Hey, I know it was the Raiders.

SPEAKER_01:

I do. We look good, but I ain't gonna lie, I'm nervous. But I'm gonna tell you right now, if we win this game, I'm going delusional. But I'm gonna ride with my cowboys. But if we win this game, I'm going delusional, and I'm gonna say some wild stuff.

SPEAKER_00:

You know what the crazy thing is. I want y'all to win this game. I want y'all to win the regular game for the rest of the year. No, y'all win it. You said what? You're on your Stephen A, huh? I want y'all to win. Hey, it brings me such joy to have y'all winning in the regular season. Cause then you get to the playoffs and y'all lay an egg. Y'all lay an egg, and it brings me even more joy because y'all got all excited during the regular season. What you say? Y'all go delusional. And then y'all lose in the playoffs. Y'all got so hype, and the disappointment on y'all's face makes me happy. I'm not, it just does. It does. And I get to tell my uncle, he's like, I look at the look of him and be like, so what happened? You know what I mean? Because he's gonna bring up your team ain't D this. My team. We a regional disappointment. Y'all worldwide disappointment. You know what I'm saying? Worldwide. That's what I like. So for that reason, I'm loving the Cowboys. Because I want y'all to win. I want y'all to win. Bucks and uh Bucks and who?

SPEAKER_01:

The Rams. I'm I'm riding with the Rams. The Rams is hot.

SPEAKER_00:

I'm gonna go with the Panthers. Monday night. 49ers versus Panthers versus 49ers.

SPEAKER_01:

Where is it? Where is it is it is it? It's in uh San Francisco. Is it where I want to go with the Panthers?

SPEAKER_00:

I'm going with the Panthers. I go ahead and get that out of the way.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, uh I'm gonna be different then. I'm gonna go with San Fran. But for some reason, I Panthers is Panthers are good.

SPEAKER_00:

It's crazy to think about the Panthers are good. Are they good or they just be tripping over wins and getting lucky? I think that's more so what it is.

SPEAKER_01:

They tripped over the win against us, you're right. Yeah, they might be tripping over some wins, but they winning.

SPEAKER_00:

They're gonna say they tripping over some wins. That's how I'm board now, too. But yeah, uh, that's it. Speaking of which, I'm winning. I don't know how I'm leaning. You got three games. I don't know either.

SPEAKER_01:

I'm staking it up. And my gambling has shown too that it's just not by year. Because my gambling account has shown that I stink and staking it up there too as well. But you are another bastard. It's your boy, Mr. Bell. AK aka say your name up on the spot. Might not be with you tomorrow. I gave ESPN a captain hater moment earlier in the year because they lost, they opted out of the contract with the MLB. And I was like, how you gonna be the worldwide leader of sports if you ain't got a uh MLB contract? Well, they fixed it. They no longer have Sunday night baseball, but they will have games during the week. So shout out to MLB for one, getting the deal done with the ESPN, but then also added on Netflix and uh NBC. Nah, shout out shout out to MLB. But yeah, ESPN. I take back my Captain Hate moment. Y'all gonna mess it up at some point again. Finally, y'all back with YouTube TV. Took y'all long enough. Uh we holla at y'all next week.
