SPEAKER_00:What's up, Deion? It's a good week, right? It is Thanksgiving week. And it's crazy. It's like a tradition now with Survivor Series and War Games being the Saturday after Thanksgiving week. Now, how you feeling about war games, man? Feel about war games.
SPEAKER_01:Man, I ain't gonna lie. Like I told you pre-pod, I've been kind of in and out with the wrestling. I've been watching the clips, but I ain't been watching it, watching it. So right now, I ain't feeling the buzz. Because I also was expecting like a Rey Mysterio versus Dom Mysterio match, and we didn't get that. We got a we do got a Dom match, but we'll get to it. So yeah, right now I'm kind of lukewarm on it. Lukewarm is the I think it's Tim.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, I feel you. Uh I will say War Games is always an exciting match type. This year, um I the match is gonna be good. Again, we'll get to that. I am a little down on the build. I feel like war games is starting to become more like an obligation and not like a natural concentral, natural ending. It's starting to feel like how the hell in the sale was a couple years ago. Where it's like, well, it's that time of the year. Let's go ahead and get a couple guys together. Let's get it, let's put them in the war games. But we'll get there. But you know, my first question I always gotta ask you is scheduled for 7 p.m. Eastern Saturday. Now, we'll talk, we'll talk about this on another pod, but we know what's going on Saturday with Rivalry Week in the college world. Will you be watching War Games Live?
SPEAKER_01:I'm gonna maybe you know what? I'm gonna have it in the ESPN now, so I will be able to multi-view. So you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, shout out ESPN for getting the multi-view. They listen, I guess.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, so I'm gonna they got the multi-view, so I I just should be able to watch it live. Keyword should.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, I'm probably gonna be able to watch it live. I will, you know, starting off my vacation. That'd be the first day of my week off of uh work. So I'm gonna I'm gonna live it up. I have me a uh adopt beverage next to me watching some college football, and I'll probably be watching War Games Live because even though we may not have felt the build, War Games again is usually a very interesting match. But let's go ahead and get to it. We're gonna knock out the two non-war game matches out the way. First up, Stephanie Valkyrie will be defending her WWE Women's World Heavyweight Championship against Nikki Bella. And I apologize, guys. If you're new here, we do the confidence points prediction. There's four matches on the card. The match you have the most confidence in, you get four points after you pick your winner. The match you have the least confidence in, you put one point after you pick your winner. Since it's only four matches, obviously, we want to have a couple prop best to figure out who went who wins, who has won. Q won the last one, if I'm not mistaken. I think he's on like a two or three PLE streak on me, I'm pretty sure. I think he's yeah, I think I think it's only one.
SPEAKER_01:I think you won the one before. I think you won the one before that.
SPEAKER_00:I think you're right. But back to Stephanie Vacier and Nikki Bella. Nicky Bella had just turned hill. I'm just gonna go ahead and knock this one out. It's very easy for me. I got Stephanie Valkyrie with four points. Um but I will start out with the problem as well. Do you think this match will go under five under or over five minutes?
SPEAKER_01:I'm gonna go over. All right. I'm also gonna go with Stephanie Valkyrie at four. But I did see something about them. Uh Bree mentioned, I think it was something like she's missing something, and Bree was like, Yeah, you missing me, or something like that. I think I seen that on Facebook, Twitter, something like that. But I'm still gonna go with Stephanie Vacier with a four. Um, I don't know about you from what I seen. Imagine, like I said, I ain't been in it every day like I used to be, or like I normally am. Does it feel like Nikki's just kind of there? Yeah, and she ain't getting no reaction, no nothing, no pop, no, they ain't giving her the booze, they ain't giving her the cheers. It's just like she's just there, she's just outside.
SPEAKER_00:I absolutely agree with you. And oh no, they're trying to hype this. She's a Hall of Famer. She is a Hall of Famer. I'm not trying to discredit her. Uh, but no, some people are calling her she was a Hall of Famer in the she was going against Plumber's error, like they do some people. I've heard that statement, but she is a Hall of Famer nonetheless. But she's just there, man. Her comeback, she she not that she can't, she came back when the women's roster is as deepest. Again, I don't want to discredit her credentials, but they do have a point when they say she was around some plumbers when she was in her day. So it's kind of hard for her to stand out, especially when they she still, it's not a bad thing, but she's still looked at as a diva and not a wrestler.
SPEAKER_01:Not a wrestler.
SPEAKER_00:So that's probably part of it. She doesn't really fit with this crop of women, but she's trying. I gotta give her credit, but it's just it's not working. We'll see, we'll see what happens. But again, Stephanie with four, it's an easy one for me as well.
SPEAKER_01:But do you think it's Nikki, or do you think it's the company not giving Nikki the time and the places to shine? And they just force it because it feels like it feels like this Stephanie, it's Stephanie Message's force. Because it's like Nikki, Nikki's frustrated, and they know Nikki's frustrated backstage because of the way she's being presented.
SPEAKER_00:They're presenting her like she was presented in her when she was at her peak, and her peak is not really what works necessarily. Like, not to not to share. I mean, she's not a bad wrestler, but she's she's just really, I don't know. I don't I don't I don't want to say something too bad, but I just it's just not working. Like what she did in the past is not gonna work now. She probably needs to switch up her character a little bit, which she's born heel, but we've seen a hill Nikki Bella. It's nothing, it's nothing different.
SPEAKER_01:She needs more gaps to her character. Okay, I feel it.
SPEAKER_00:So we'll see, but I mean, she's still gonna stick around. We'll see. That um shiny new toy sparkle is all for her, you know. But she's she's part of the pack now. But we'll see what happens in the future. But you and I guess we both agree. This is definitely uh I I kind of feel like it's gonna be an under-five-minute squash match. That's why I said I'm gonna go with under five minutes. I'll still go under four under five. We'll see. I wouldn't be surprised if it goes over five, because they only got four matches, but the war game matches is gonna take a minute.
SPEAKER_01:That's why I say they'll probably go over five, just because it's only four matches. But you're right, the war games matches do typically, they do, they do run long, but I don't know. Five minutes ain't kind of quick.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, it is. But we'll see. Um, next up, we're gonna have to give it to John Cena, his last ever PLE. His last match will be a Saturday seminar event. We'll get to that in a little bit during this episode, but he is putting the Intercontinental title on the line against the man he took it from in Dom Mysterio. And it's in Dom's hometown in San Diego. How you feeling? I'm kind of torn. Oh, you torn? Oh, this is this is an easy one for me.
SPEAKER_01:I'm torn because John Cena only got two matches left. Is he gonna lose the last two matches? But also Dominic Mysterio. John Cena is also the type too, like, hey, Dom's the one, he's hot. I can take his heel, let me continue to put him over. But if that's the case, then they just gave John Cena the Intercontinental Championship just so they can say he's the grand same champion. It really was a waste.
SPEAKER_00:That's exactly why they did it, bro. I'm just gonna let that's exactly why they did it. That's a waste. Like, but you you that's why I said I'm torn.
SPEAKER_01:So, for that reason, I'm gonna go Dominic with a two.
SPEAKER_00:Oh, I'm not Dominic with a three for me. It's I'm not, if if it wasn't for Stephanie Vikier being on the court against Nicki Bella, this would be my highest. It's easy. He's just gonna give it right back to him. Dom is hot. Now, I'm like you. I haven't been watching Monday Night Raw as much. I've been mostly watching Monday Night Football, but I've been keeping up with the clips. Y'all gotta stop with the little people stuff. Y'all have done it multiple times. It's the last time, and the only time it's worked is with Kurt Angle. Yeah, I'm sorry. No other time. I gotta stop with this segment, this type of that's not it ain't it. But outside of that lackluster segment Dom had on Monday, he's been killing it. Been killing it in AAA, killing it in WWE. He's still hot. He's a they even Cody Rose said he's a future world champion. John Cena go ahead and put him over. He's gonna get his interconding title. He's gonna be two belt Dom, like you prophesied.
SPEAKER_01:I did say that. I did say that.
SPEAKER_00:And he was yeah, I'm just gonna go with Dom with three, and he's in his hometown. When what scares me a little bit is it's not obviously his Dom's hometown, but it's Ray Mysterio's hometown as well. He's going to make an appearance in some way, shape, or form. I'm surprised he's not he doesn't have a match on his card. Maybe he's not fully healthy enough to have a match, but he's gonna make appearance though in some way, shape, or form. So we'll see.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, see, that's the that's another reason they give me pause because I I just assumed this was gonna be uh father versus son.
SPEAKER_00:Should be, maybe it's gonna be a WrestleMania, but it should be.
SPEAKER_01:It's what I assumed that it was gonna be, even though I know that they done played that storyline, but it's both of their hometowns. It would make sense for them to have this match here. But that's why another reason they give me reason to pause, because like you said, Remysteria is gonna pop out, judgment state is gonna probably interfere, Ray's gonna come out for the save, then boom, you know, John Cena win. I can see that playing out as well. Because they're not gonna let they're not gonna let Ray look bad in San Diego.
SPEAKER_00:Oh no, hell no, it's his six win out for a reason.
SPEAKER_01:You hear what I'm saying? So that's why I'm kind of like, I can actually see John Cena winning this match, but it don't make sense for John Cena to keep the intercontinental championship going into Saturday night's main event because of who we all know he's gonna face at this point.
SPEAKER_00:Yep, man, yeah. We'll get to that in a little bit as well. I got a gripe to uh I got a bone to pick with WWE with that, but let's go ahead and move on to the women's war game match. Same gripe I got with the men's, and we'll talk about it again. They they kind of just this one has a little story to it, but they kind of just put this together. Um, the two teams, uh the Hill team is Asuka, Becky Lynch, Nigac, the last legend, who's making her official. Not uh this is not her first PLE. I know she was on, I think she was on one of the crown jewels in the past, but she's a she's officially on the main roster. No NXT ties. She's a main roster wrestler now, so congratulations to her. And we got obviously Kyrie Saint as well. The babyface team, Real Ripley, EOSK, Charlotte Flair, by the way, a nice little segment between Real Ripley and Charlotte Flair last Friday with the no scimitar. If you can give them credit for that. Alexa Bliss and AJ Lee, who's having her second match back in WWE. Hasn't had a single match yet. She had she teamed up with her husband against Seth and Becky. Then she's having another team match, this time in the War Games. So give me, give me your thoughts, give me your wins, and after you tell me who you think is gonna win in your predictions, I got a couple prop bets on this match specifically.
SPEAKER_01:Okay, so I'm going with the women's um babyface team to win, and I'm going them with a three. The reason I'm going with them for a three is because I don't think they're gonna let AJ Lee lose.
SPEAKER_00:Okay.
SPEAKER_01:That's just my files. I don't think they're gonna let AJ Lee lose. So I'm going with them with a three. Should the Hill team win? Yes, I do think the Hill team should win because simple fact that would give credence to the women's tag team division because you put Nia Jax and Lash Lesend in a tag team, basically, which I'm cool with. I actually like the idea of Nia Jax and Lash Legends being a women's tag team and challenging uh Charlotte Fleur and Alexa Bliss. I actually like that idea. Then you also would give the Kabuki Warriors some credence too and give prop them up because then they won as well. And then Becky Lynch has if she would tie the series with AJ Lee. I think the Hill should win, but I'm still gonna go with the baby faces because like I said, I don't think they're gonna let AJ Lee's AJ Lee lose. And then also, you got your women's tag team champions on that side. Do you do you want them to take the pin? Do you want them to take the L? And then on the women's on the uh the babyface side as well is who do who's gonna take the pin, like the final pin?
SPEAKER_00:All right, but uh I I gotta stop you. Don't I didn't want to interrupt you, but I gotta let you know. Asuka and Kai Sain are the women's taxing champions at this very charlotte and Alexa Bliss a couple Monday nights ago.
SPEAKER_01:See, that's how I touched. I ain't been paying attention. See, they didn't even WWE didn't even put that on. Because I you like I said, I've been watching that YouTube and I ain't seen that there was a uh a tag a tag championship switch. So the kabuki warriors is the tag team.
SPEAKER_00:Yep, they're the tag team championships.
SPEAKER_01:Well, let me tell you, I ain't seen that one.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, it changed my nah. I'm still gonna go with the baby face. That's why I had to stop you a little bit. Was wondering was that gonna change your opinion on that? But yeah, I mean, eventually, you know, babyface teams could get it, or hell, it could be hill versus hill for the tag team titles. I would like to see last legend and I'll exhole on to that tag and titles. Um, you're going with the I'm gonna go with the Hill team. Don't really have a good reason why, but I guess I want to go opposite with you. Uh, it's it's gonna be a good match, though. I'm looking forward to it. Uh uh also um Becky Lynch, she's been having some great character work. She did lose her title to Maxine Dupree. And excellent, excellent show show work, especially character-wise. Putting over Maxine, shout out to Becky Lynch. I will give her credit for that. But I'm looking forward to the match. I'm gonna go with the Hill team. I'm going with the Hill team with one, because I I just really don't know. But since I'm going with the Hill teams, my first prop bet is who's going to eat the pin. And as I say, the Hill team, I'm looking at the team, at the people who could potentially eat the pin. I don't see any of these women really eating pins on the babyface team. But I'm gonna go with Alexa Bliss and I'm gonna go with Becky Lynch pinning Alexa Bliss. Cause I just I don't know, we'll see.
SPEAKER_01:I'm gonna go with AJ Lee pinning Becky. I'm gonna go with AJ Lee pinning uh Nia J.
SPEAKER_00:And last pop bats for the women. Who do you think be the first two in the ring?
SPEAKER_02:Charlie Fleur. I like that.
SPEAKER_00:I'm not gonna pick that, but I want that now.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, I'm gonna go with Charlie Fleur and Oscar.
SPEAKER_00:Uh I'm gonna go with something similar, but the opposite Kyrie Sane and Alexa Bliss. That's how it makes sense. So, yeah, well, it should be an excellent match. That's what I'm gonna say. It's gonna be an excellent match. But we gotta move towards the men's war game. And I gotta say, you you you tell me if I'm wrong. I feel like this is the most star-studded war games match we have ever had. I mean, I'm not talking about what it was in the past, I mean what it was in the WCW days before WWE brought it back back in NXT, but I feel like this is the most star-studied match, and no offense to Logan Paul, but honestly, it a blind man can see that that spot was meant for Seth Rollins before he got hurt. If Seth Rollins was in this one, the star power would be crazy. But it's Logan Paul Braising just a little bit, but there's a lot of star power in this match.
SPEAKER_01:It is a lot of star power, but I won't give credit to WWE for something. They didn't just owe John Cena in this match.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, I thought they would.
SPEAKER_01:So yeah, I won't give them credit for that because that would have been like uh what everybody was assuming that's the layup is okay. John Cena's gonna be in war game. Because I think we said it, he was gonna be in uh the war games match, but he he has he's not. He's got a he's he's got a match where he's gonna probably put Dom over him. So yeah, no, I think this is uh Star Studied. When they got I wasn't suspecting Brock Lesnar to be a part of it.
SPEAKER_00:This is the first time uh I saw the tweak. This is the first time he's been in a team match team, had a partner in a match since he teamed with Shiskey Nakamura back in like 2006. Bro, what? And that was just a tag team match. He has not been a now there was a match where, or not a match, it was a after WrestleMania where the match was booked, but it never happened. He attacked, he was supposed to team up on Cody Rose against John against Roman Reigns and Souls Co-op, but it never happened. We know Brad don't wrestle on television, he doesn't wrestle on Monday Night Rawls, but first time he's been in a team match since he teamed with Sinskin Nakamura in 2006, which is insane. Obviously, we know he didn't, there was a time that he didn't wrestle, but he's been back in WWE since what, 2013?
SPEAKER_01:I was gonna say 2012, 2013, yeah, man.
SPEAKER_00:But the participants here heel team, Drew McIntyre, Braun, uh Bronson Reed, Brock Lesnar, uh Braun Breaker, and Logan Paul. They'll be managed by Paul Heyman, the GOAT, Babyface Team, Jay Uso, Jimmy Uso, CM Punk, Cody Rose, and Roman Reigns. Star studied as hell. And I honestly have no idea who's going to win this one. They could go either way, but I want to one thing I do know is we're gonna know probably what WB's WrestleMania plans is after this match. But what I would do, I'm just gonna go what I would do, because I don't know. I would give it to the Hill team, and I might as well just give it, I would give Braun Breaker the pin over CM Punk. That's what I would do. And I'm going with all I got is a one, I'm going with Hill Team with one.
SPEAKER_01:You said a Braun. Oh, CM Punk. Okay. That's why I'm kind of froze. Like, you think I would happen? That's what I would do.
SPEAKER_00:Cause I don't know what's gonna happen. I'm just gonna go with what I would do. Because I Ron Breaker, yeah, I know you ain't been watching a lot. I've been I ain't been watching that much either. But since his split from Seth Rollins, he has gone back to seeming like henchman level guy. Did it with Drew McIntyre a little bit, done it with Logan Paul. He seemed more like a henchman than he has the star. They need to get they need to get back to where he was because he was high after he took out Seth Rollins. Then he's a little bit back low. So that's why I would no, we gotta we gotta let them know he's the future.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, you're right, because Bronson Reed's the one with two wins over Rum Marines.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:You would think those would have gone to Braun Burger if the way they was building them. But I'm gonna go with the You know what? I was about to go with the Hills, but I'm gonna go with the baby face. Because it's one thing I feel like I learned. Man, don't be betting against Roman Reigns. Yeah. Don't bet against Roman. Because Roman don't lose. Roman don't lose too often. Even though he did. He done lost two times in a row. I don't feel like Roman don't keep losing.
SPEAKER_00:Not this Roman.
SPEAKER_01:Roman don't lose too often, so I'm gonna I'm gonna go with uh I'm gonna go with the baby's faces. I'ma go with I'ma go with Roman. I'm gonna go Cody pinning Drew McIntyre. I mean not Drew McIntyre. I'm gonna yeah, I'm gonna go Drew McIntyre. I was about to say, I was thinking, I almost did it. Cody pinning Bronck Lesnar.
SPEAKER_00:It ain't happening.
SPEAKER_01:I know it would set up a storyline between them two. Because Cody needs something to do.
SPEAKER_00:Cody definitely needs something to do. Because CM Punk is the the word at what title is given more a title than it has ever in the past. It's just, I mean, we we talked about it. These long title, Cody's had it for so long. It's like, I don't I really don't care, man. Just lose that thing to Drew or something.
SPEAKER_01:Like, come on, now he should have lost it to Drew on the last PLE. We said that, but then nobody listened. He should have lost, he should have lost that.
SPEAKER_00:Uh so the first two, I'm going with Logan Paul will be the first one for the hillside. And I'm touring between Jimmy or Jay. I'm gonna flip a coin.
SPEAKER_01:I'm gonna go with Jimmy. So Logan and Jimmy. You know what? I was thinking it was gonna be Logan and Jay. It's gonna be whatever. But you know what? I'm gonna switch it because you did that. I'm gonna go Drew and Jay. Okay. Just because but I knew it was coming. I was thinking it's gonna be Logan and Jay. But I was if the baby faces lose, we know who eating that pen. Oh yeah. Oh, yeah, we know who eating that pen. It's Jimmy. It's all that is Jimmy if the baby face, if the baby faces lose, which is sad to say, but if the baby faces lose, we everybody knows Jimmy's the one eating the pen.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, like like if we talked about this is a star-studded Jimmy's the the least star-studd guy. Like, no, I mean honestly, Jimmy, you'll you you're part of the world, one of the best tag teams to ever do it. But if there was a line with all these guys, people trying to get the autograph, Jimmy's line would probably be the shortest. What do you mean, out on the baby face or all of them?
SPEAKER_01:All of them. Maybe Logan Paul might be the shortest. No, I ain't we not gonna go there. We know he's just gonna be a long. I was thinking Bronson. You think he's Bronson would be you think Bronson's line would be shorter than Jimmy's line? Yeah, a lot of people love Big Jim. Okay, yeah, I think Brunson Reed's would be.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, that Naomi stuff did yeah.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, nah, Big Jim, yeah, nah. He I would think I think it would be Brunson Reed. I think Jimmy would probably be. I think him and Braun would be closer than we think. Okay, especially because of what you just said, the way they booking Braun breaker here lately. It might be a little closer than what we think.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah. So yeah, nah. All right. So that is our prediction for uh survivor series war games. Kind of hope they get rid of war games next year. They need to give it a break.
SPEAKER_01:How you feeling about the uh the five on five that they're doing on SmackDown?
SPEAKER_00:It's cool. I'm not I'm not a big fan of the traditional, I'm not a big fan of the traditional, not when it doesn't have stakes, it don't got no stakes. That's really it. I need it, I need it therapy for reasoning. I know they always talking about bringing back the uh brand supremacy. I would like it if the brand split meant a damn thing. So I we use it with cuts, but that the brand split don't mean nothing, dog.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, no, I would, I think that's what it should have been. It should have been a brand, a brand, a brand, uh, a brand versus brand match, and then a two war two war game matches or something of that nature. I think that should have been the case. That should have been what we had to on this on this PLE, but that ain't what we get. And also, I feel like it was supposed to be MFTs versus uh the Y 286, but because you know I'm saying um um I'm about I'm about to say the Fiend, but the Fiend's brother. Since their well, their father is going through some health issues. I know they've been out, they've been off TV.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, and they the tag team chimps too, so it's tough for that. But hey. But that'll do it. Uh, I'm looking forward to it. I'll be excited to watch it. Start off my vacation with a bang, uh watching war games. But we gotta talk about something that's you know kind of look sad. No, we are two weeks away from John Cena's final match inside the next main event. The year has flown by. Um, he's we've been doing this last time is now tournament. Uh we're pretty much down to the last couple people. Uh, let me see. Let's see, they got the bracket. Let me look at the bracket. So obviously, um, we're gonna get we got we got uh Gunther. It's gonna be Gunther versus Solo Sokoa, and then it will be LA Knight going up against a mystery man. Unfortunately, Seamus got hurt. The match was taped. We're not gonna give you guys any spoils, but the match was taped for this Friday. And then you got J Uso versus Roosevelt. Don't know, it'll probably be Jay Uso. But again, that match was taped. I'm not trying to give y'all guys any spoils, it's out there. I'm not gonna give it to you. But pretty much, we're down to pretty much the semifinals, but come on, cue. My mom don't watch wrestling, and she told me how's John Cena's last match with Gunther gonna be.
SPEAKER_01:You don't think it could be solo?
SPEAKER_00:No.

SPEAKER_00:Yeah. So we'll talk about what we would like to see because uh obviously John Cena, he he basically told Triple H came to him say, hey, we're gonna make this whole show about you. He told him, nah. It's gotta be some NXT people, got some get some involved people on the show. He wanted basically NXT versus main roster. We'll get to that in a second, but we gotta talk about this last time as now tournament. Uh the participants in this last time is now tournament, it's gonna be maybe one more person. I uh it was leaked, it was leaked that it was somebody else because Seamus got hurt. I'm not 100% sure it was, so I'm not gonna speculate. I ain't trying to find the spoilers, but I'm gonna give you the participants of the potential uh potential uh potential people that it could have been for John Cena's final match that WWE gave us. J Uso, the Miz, Damian Priest, Rusev, Seamus, Nakamura, LA Knight. Zach Ryder, aka Matt Cardona, Penta, Finn Ballard, Nick Nimeth, aka Dolph Ziggler, Solo Sakoa, uh Evans, uh, first name uh Javon Evans. Javon Evans, first name slip my mind. Sorry, Javon, Gunther, Carmelo Hayes, and Bronson Reed. Those was the potential participants for the John Cena's final match. How did you uh we we talked about it a lot? Who we would like to see. Trick Williams wasn't in it, Oba Femi wasn't in it, no Ricky Saints. No. Um, who else did we say? We we said Damasterio, but uh understandably Domasterio, he got him a few, so uncertainly cool with that. We said Braunbreaker, they didn't put Braun, but they put Brons Henry, and then Cody cost him the match. Yeah, how you how you feel about these participants?
SPEAKER_01:So I ain't got no issues with the participants, I just got an issue with the way that it's coming down because Javon Evans should have won, um, or Carmelo should have won in old super. You said no, so I ain't even gonna say that. But it should have been the younger, it should have been the younger talent getting that opportunity. I get Gunther is a younger talent, but Gunther is already an established star.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, he's already put one on the shelf. He already got one, he already got one head on his mental in Goldberg.
SPEAKER_01:But so it really don't make no sense it don't make no sense for it to be Gunther. So you're gonna give Gunther two retirement matches, he putting two people on the shelf. That don't really make sense to do. But I know they go they'll put on the good, they're gonna put on a great match because that's what Gunther does. Well, the same thing we say about Oscar. You know what Oscar's gonna do, she's gonna put on a great match. That's without question, but is that what people really won't see? I don't think that's what people really wanted to see. I'm gonna go back to something we said at the beginning of the year, and I'm gonna bring it back now. You know who should be winning this tournament or who should be this last match? If this was what you was gonna do, it should have been Randy Orton to begin with. Yeah, that's just it's if you you should have ended with like an actual rivalry type match, or somebody who is known as the legend killer, but you ain't seen you ain't seen Randy Orton. Again, I ain't been watching it as like I should. I've been watching little clips on YouTube, but I ain't seen Randy Orton in nine clips, I ain't seen Randy Orton in the promotion for WrestleMania when all you had Cody and CM Punk and Bray, I mean all right, Roman and Brock all at the table with Triple H and you know what I'm saying? You I ain't see I ain't seen Randy Orton in there. I ain't seen Randy Orton in I don't know how long. Nope. If this is what you gonna do, if you gonna give it to Guther, you should have just gave it to Randy Orton, then he could have been for Guther earlier, yeah. Because that would to me that feels more like a storyline, and that's what John Cena. He he John Cena was a good wrestler, but he more so put on storylines and got great promos. Yeah, I don't know, maybe it's just me.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, I I'm I'm like, I'm so disappointed. I mean, obviously, the rumor came out that it was gonna be Gunther. I'm like, okay, uh, at first I was like, all right, sure. Now I absolutely hate it. I was gonna say this for my my hater moment at the end of the episode, but nah, it's I hate it. I'm gonna watch it, but I hate it. It should have been it should have been Carmelo Hayes. I would have been so much more excited if it was Carmelo Hayes. Other people, it Javon, I I like Javon Evans. I don't know if that's something he I would want him to do. I wouldn't have gave that to him. I wanted it, I would give it to more of someone that could run with it more. And I feel like Carmelo Hayes could have ran with being the guy to retire uh John Cena. Outside of that, I would I really don't want to see any of these guys. I mean, if LA Knight was 10 years younger, I would have liked to see LA Knight. That's what I'm saying with LA Knight, like you said, everybody older. Yeah, so um, it's just oh my goodness. Like, why do you not even want to give it to Carmelo Hayes? And specifically after John Cena said he wants to put over younger talent at his show, at his last show. He specifically told Triple H, nah, don't make it a whole two hours about me. Let's put some evolving the next team people on it and showcase them.
SPEAKER_01:This might have been this might have been the decision from the company from the beginning is to you know make Gunther the younger talent that he put over. And as a why I do understand it, I just don't agree with it. Now, the Carmelo Hayes not getting in why they don't give him that push. I don't know. It's felt like ever since Carmelo Hayes got to the main roster, they just ain't they didn't give him nothing. He had that, he had that little situation with the Miz, but it that it at least for me, from my perspective, it felt like it didn't amount to anything. It felt like it just it came, it happened, it went, and then the next thing you know, it was over. I feel like they if they didn't have a plan for that, they could have stretched out the Miz and Carmelo tag team, but they didn't. So then after that, Melo just been on a wild goose, uh not even a wild chase, he just been here, he been present and they give him nothing to do. So I feel like Carmelo getting caught up has been a waste. I wouldn't have been mad at Javon Evans because it would have been shocking, it would have been something different, it would have been something we wasn't expecting. Yeah, I wouldn't have been mad at that. The other names, like you said, no, you said no to solo, Jay don't need it, Gunther don't need it, LA Knight is older. I would it would have been cool if Zach Ryder or Zick Zolf Diggler won.
SPEAKER_00:Dolph Dolph.
SPEAKER_01:I was like, that's sound that sounds wrong. What if I say Dolph Ziggler? It would have been cool if they had a won and then maybe lose in the next round. Yeah, that would have been cool.
SPEAKER_00:But yeah, it's it's I didn't like how they done it. I part of me would have just had rather them been like, hey Gunther, you get the match. That's part of me how I felt and felt like this last time his nail tournament was somewhat of a waste. But good news is John C the point.
SPEAKER_01:Oh, but Penta. My bad. I forgot I forgot about Penta. Penta could have been all right.
SPEAKER_00:You know, uh press the Penta too, by the way. It looks like he hurt his shoulder. Hopefully it's nothing too serious if he heard the shoulder against solo in the last time his nail tournament. Hopefully he's okay. Uh, but let's go ahead and um obviously we don't know how they're gonna do it yet. We'll probably find out in the coming weeks. But John Cena did say there's gonna be some NXT guys, some Evolve guys gonna get some main roster guys. Is there any NXT versus main roster match that you would personally, from your perspective, love to see?
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, it it is. I don't it's just it's it's kind of off the wall, and I know it's like it ain't gonna happen, but I would love to see Trick Williams versus Cody Rose. Okay, oh yeah. That it's just because I'm looking at the main roster and I'm like, okay, who would I want to see Trick Williams go up against and that would also give him some problems, even because he's gonna take the L. You know what I'm saying? Depending on who he wrestles, who would I want him to take the L and give him the rug? I would want it to be Cody Rose. Because I don't see CM Punk wrestling, because I thought about CM Punk, but I would I think more so Cody Rose would be the one that would participate. So I would love to see Cody Rose versus Trick Williams. Um Javon Evans is teaming with uh is his name Leon?
SPEAKER_00:Leon Slater, yep.
SPEAKER_01:Leon Slater, I would love to see them two go against the Usos.
SPEAKER_02:Okay.
SPEAKER_01:That that would be dope. Or uh I know he just signed the NXT uh say his name and he appeared.
SPEAKER_00:Joe Hendry.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, I would love to see him on that Sunday night's man event. I don't have nobody for him to go against, but I would love to see him in that match as well.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, um, I'm gonna go. Uh I I want to see Oberfilmie goes anybody, specifically Sheamus if he's healthy. But I need Oberfilm to win, by the way. Uh women's side, no, man, the women's roster is so deep on NXT and WWE. But uh I I would I would like to see Blake Monroe against Rhea Ripley. I think that would be a clash of pure opposites in terms of how they're aesthetically uh presented. I would like to see that. Um give me Jordan Bianca Bel Air is hurt, unfortunately. Maybe she comes back, but I doubt it. But give me Jordan Gace against Bianca Bel Air or Jordan Grace in Nia Jax, you know, give me a powerhouse match. Um and then kind of crazy because some of these women just got called up, so it's not like it would be that much of a what a difference from what we just got. But you gotta you gotta get Charlotte Flair in there with uh probably probably JC Jane, Charlotte Flair and JC Jane or some or someone of that nature. Actually, scratch that. Give me Charlotte Flair and um Kalani Jordan. I think that'll be an excellent match.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, it will be good. You said Mike Moreau. I thought of Alexa Bliss.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, actually, I like that thing.
SPEAKER_01:Uh when you said as soon as you said her name, I said hello, Alexa Bliss. That'd be a good match. Um, maybe what's them dude's names? The Dark Order. I think I say the name from down at NXT. If not Javon Evans and uh Damn, why am I drawing a black on this? Uh Bleak Leon from uh TNA, even though I know he's from TNA. Uh maybe Dark Order versus the Usos would be a good match. I'm trying to think, you know, everybody knows I'm not really the NXT guy, so I don't watch it. I don't really watch the NXT, I don't even watch them clips. Um I see a little bit here and there on the NXT, but y'all know that ain't really my that ain't really my four tags. I ain't got too many names. But yeah, dark or dark order versus the Usos, if not Dark State. See, I s I call them Dark Order. See, I don't watch NXT. Um Dark State if the if not Javon and Leon versus the Usos. So yeah, so we'll see how they the uh you will know they the tag team champions, ain't they?
SPEAKER_00:They are the tag team champions. They are they be free burden it like the uh like the new day speaking of new day, they need to they need to do something with them, they probably need to put them on that show.
SPEAKER_01:They need they need to send them TNA.

SPEAKER_01:They that's what they need to do.
SPEAKER_00:Give them some give them some something, you know what I mean? They just they just giving these guys the commercial promos. Like, bro, a lot of people ain't paying for for the ad free.
