SPEAKER_01:

Welcome, welcome, welcome back to another episode of From My Perspective. I'm your boy Dion coming back to you with another episode. Thank you guys again for joining us. Please go ahead and hit that like button, hit that subscribe button as well, and go ahead and leave a comment. Uh Christmas is here, and I'm glad it is. We're closing in on 2026. I hope you guys had a great Christmas. I know I'm planning on having a great Christmas. I know Q's planning on having a great Christmas, but Christmas is here. The New Year's is almost here. Hope you guys enjoy it. But again, another episode from my perspective. I'm your boy D.I.Q. How you doing?

SPEAKER_00:

Hey, I know the best. It's your boy, Mr. Bass. Pi. Might not with you tomorrow. What's going on, Dion?

SPEAKER_01:

Hey, it's going good, man. I had a very good weekend. You know, my birthday was last weekend. Birthday, Dion. Yeah, I also watched a lot of uh football. You know, watched some college football as well as the first round of the playoffs happened. Uh Friday, we had a good game between Oklahoma and Alabama. Oklahoma had a 17-point lead and they squandered it. Uh, I don't know if you did you watch the game, I'm assuming you did. I did, I did. I know you remember that that it was a crossing route that hit the court that the player dropped. They was up 17-3 at the time, I believe. He dropped it. And since they after that, Oklahoma can never gain back that momentum.

SPEAKER_00:

I think that's it for him, honestly.

SPEAKER_01:

I know that was early in the game. There was a lot more that happened after the game, but that's the moment I point to that that lost him for Oklahoma in that game.

SPEAKER_00:

So I thought in the first half, I won't give Alabama some credit, right? Because I was watching that game and I looked at a lot of the way that the game was stored now in that first half, a lot of teams would have quit. Yeah. They would have packed it in. Alabama never, they never quit fighting, and they showed resilience in that first half. Because like I said, a lot of teams, every everything was going, everything was going wrong for Alabama in that first in that first half. If it could go wrong, it went wrong. Don't get me wrong, they caught they caught a couple breaks in that first half, but for the most part, everything went wrong for them. But for them to continue to fight and continue to uh you know come back and and win that game, uh, I think was great. I saw uh I don't let me not mess up his name. But Yo has been uh Yo has been picked. He looked like it in the beginning of the game. Right. He looked like it in the beginning of the game. I was there, I was in here watching. I was in here watching, I was like, I okay, I can see why Dion said.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, he was that boy.

SPEAKER_00:

He was dumb. Yeah, it did. But even like I said, in this game, he was dying them up, but it did start getting a little shaky for him after a while. Do you think this was the best game of the weekend?

SPEAKER_01:

Nah, nah. The best game from my perspective was the next game that we're gonna go ahead and talk about. Miami versus Texan AM. This was an old-fashioned early 2000 slober knocker, is what JR would call it. There was no points scored in the first half, and the game ended on 10-3, and it ended on the Texan AM Aggies, they were rolling. And then Marcel Reed. I watched the I watched it when you're when I first saw it, I was like, What he's doing? Then I watched it from the end zone angle. I saw what he saw. It was just terrible ball placement. And he threw a pick at the end zone to lose the game. But that was the best game for me. Uh Miami and Texas AM, the 12th man. By the way, all games outside the championship game should be held on college campuses, but yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

I was gonna I was gonna talk about that. But since you brought it up now, okay, let me let me talk about this game first. I actually think Alabama and Oklahoma was the better game. For me, I feel like Miami and Texas AM, neither offensively, neither one of them played well. And I don't know if we can say that's the better. The defense, I don't even think it was it wasn't bad defense, but it wasn't like it wasn't great defense. In fact, what I'm saying is making sense. It wasn't that the deep the defenses was good, but I don't think the defenses was was causing offensive, offense, offensive struggles. From my at least from what I was what I took away from the game. I don't think it was all bad, all bad defense. I mean, I don't think it was all bad. Uh it was bad, more bad offense than anything. That's just me. But you said something about it being on in uh home field in on college campuses. I agree with that until I watched them last two games. Yeah, we so I mean at the end of the day, those are the games we're gonna get to. I do want to give uh shout out Miami because man, it was the it was a a bunch circle, a bunch of noise circling around Miami. Talking about should they have gotten in. Same thing for Alabama. Should they have gotten in, or if should they Notre Dame been in? It was a bunch of drama in the ACC. They blocked out all of that noise in when Miami. Well, I was about too. They went on the road and won a one. That said something about the will of those two teams. We can't say that about the next two.

SPEAKER_01:

So, next two, we'll just go ahead and lump the next two together. Well, we're gonna have a big topic about this. But Tulane went to Ole Miss and lost 41-10. Ole Miss covered. James Madison went up there to U Zing. Uh, they the score is not indicated how bad it was, but it Oregon went 51-34. It was a lot of a couple garbage points in there for James Madison. But both blowouts from uh group of five teams, both of them got blown out of the water. Like I said, Oregon and Mississippi both covered, and there's been a lot of debate. We're really not going to necessarily talk about these games because it is what it is. There was a blowout, but there was an outcry on social media and then on the sports talk that they're saying group of five teams should not make it to the college football playoffs. And I couldn't disagree more, I couldn't disagree harder with those guys because I believe they need to, they need to have a spot at the table. Now, granted, this is a different year, it's only gonna be, it was two this year. Usually it's only gonna be, it's probably only gonna be one motion. If they move it up to 16, we'll probably get more than one again. But this was a different year. We got two. They have to have a spot at the table. I don't care. I said it, I think last episode or two episodes ago, if there's an upset once every 10 years, it's worth it to me.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay, my first, I think two, I think two Lightning James Madison should have played each other.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

I think that would have that would have been better optics for the football playoff. I think if them two had played each other in the game, would have that game probably would have been more competitive, and then one of them goes on to the next round filling themselves, might have had a little more juice behind themselves and then maybe potentially go off the upset. Cool. That being said, the talk about not having those those group of five teams in to me is ridiculous. And the reason I say that is ridiculous because some fact then, so why is all these conferences in the FBS? So then FBS and FCS is already split up. So if that's gonna be to if that's going to be the case, which is potentially where we're moving to anyway, those group, those, those uh power four, they should split, and then you have the other group of five, and then they have their own division, their own subdivisions of the FBS, if that's the case. If you're not gonna give those schools the opportunity to play for the national championship on the division, in the division that they're in, then they need to split that division.

SPEAKER_01:

Yep. It's just if you're gonna split them, don't those teams need to stop scheduling them as much as they do. They're cool playing them in the regular season, but you don't want to play them in the okay.

SPEAKER_00:

You don't want you don't want them to play in the in the uh college football playoff. What if you're not going to allow those schools the potential to join to be in the playoffs? It might sound a little extreme, but what's the point of them schools playing football? Yeah. What's the them point? What's the point of them schools playing football at the FBS level? They might as well all drop down to the FCS level, and then no school, then the schools in the FCS level is gonna be looking like it's ain't the same.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Because they are on a different tier than majority of the S FCS FCS level. Majority, I ain't gonna say all of them, because you know that Montana's in North Dakota's South Dakota States team, they they play football. Why are they not in the FBS? North Dakota State should have been in the FBS. Should have been. But it's you know, while I always say the answer to your questions is money. North Dakota make it, they're making money and they can keep and continue to win championships. Ain't no use of me, and use of me traveling. So um, but that's what I think. If you're not going to allow them to play for the championship, then why are they here? Everybody deserves a chance to play for the championship. Alabama Alabama don't score don't schedule the top FBS schools, they schedule the other FBS schools, they schedule FCS schools, they schedule Lord Tours. Hell, LSU schedule Western Kentucky, and West Kentucky almost went down there and beat them. And even I get LSU have hard to coach at this point, but they're still an LSU roster, and Western Kentucky almost beat them. They typically, you know, if they think you gonna if they think it's gonna be a potential for an upset, kind of like App State did with Michigan, they'll schedule you. Nope. Because they're paying you money, really. I'm paying are you thinking I'm gonna pay you to come beat me? No. So but man, shoot, do you I I think at some point we're gonna get to 16 teams. Right. Yep. Do you think it we should open it up to should we keep it as still where only one group group of five is going to get in? That's basically what the rules is. It ain't said that that's what the rule is.

SPEAKER_01:

They're gonna change it because honestly, they probably they probably wasn't a big fan that there was two group of four group of five teams in. I believe they're changing it where the top four power five, and it's only one group of five, the best group of five champion, which would have been Tulane this year. But I think they're gonna change it. I'm if if that's the least that I'm okay with, is you only allowing one, only allowing the best of the best to get in the playoffs, but don't exclude them completely. Because it's just no Boise State made it last year. They were a top four team, and they was competitive in that game. But I mean, Penn State loaded to put 10 in the box, but yeah, they was competitive in nine.

SPEAKER_00:

Because they was they really wasn't a one-turn pony. Um do you think okay, we gotta have this conversation. Is it the same thing for that? James Madison and two lane, same thing. Their coaches are leaf. Do you think that might have even played a potential factor in it? Because it they they gave them credit for doing both, but let's be real. It's hard to be the head coach of two different schools.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, I don't I think it's it's because like you got one foot out the door. You game planning against an Oregon, and you're also uh Tulane's coach, he's going to Florida. He's trying to put together a staff, and then he's trying to put it together, getting ready for the portal that opens up in January. Imagine if this man made it to this next round, and he's still coaching his team while a transfer portal is open. And then a James Madison coach, he's going all the way to UCLA. That's he's got he's his his next office is on the other side of the country. He's got one foot over there. So it's I I I'm okay. I understand it. They just need it one, they just need to change the calendar. There's no way in hell that the next game isn't until New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. That's that's when the season should end from our perspective. But we will talk about that more towards the offseason. But having a week off of it, it's ridiculous.

SPEAKER_00:

That that is the bow, man. They play football every week throughout the year. We get to the playoffs, and now all of a sudden, because these bowls, rose bowl, orange bowl, sugar bowl, they won't be on New Year's Day, they still won't be on New Year's Day. The times has changed. This ain't what it is. But why do these bowls have so much power that they're telling they're they're making the schedule? But like you said, we talked about it now season.

unknown:

Yep.

SPEAKER_01:

But yeah, so that's a do it for our college. So we'll talk about these games next week because again, they're not happening until New Year's Eve is the New Year's Day. But let's go ahead and head to the professional ranks, and we gotta talk about Christmas Day. We talked about it going into the year, going into the both team, both seasons, NBA and the NFL season. And we was like, man, NFL came and came on the block and took over Christmas. I don't think it's gonna be this year. And NBA gotta be thanking whoever they pray to that this NFL Christmas Day slate is this stank. But as I'm listening, the three games for Christmas Day will be Dallas, the Dallas Cowboys, who are eliminated from the playoffs. Who knows if their star players are gonna be playing, but I would assume so. The Washington Commanders, Jaden Daniels is out. They're eliminated from the playoffs. They got a lot of injuries. That's the first game. Second slate, the Detroit Lions, who just lost the heartbreaker. They're pretty much out of the playoffs, but they still have a swimmer chance versus the Minnesota Vikings, who is out of the playoffs, and it looks like JJ McCarthy is hurt. So remember that quarterback that threw that wild pick a couple weeks ago? Yep, that's the guy that they're gonna be playing. And then you got the Knights Blake. You got Denver Broncos, which is firmly in the playoffs. They they finally see if they can get the number one seed, and the Kansas City Chiefs, who have their cabo trips planned and are on their third-string quarterback. So before I let you continue, let's go ahead and look what's going on in the NBA game. So you see, you see the three that's line, though. Let's look what's going on on Christmas Day in the NBA. First game will be the Caleb Cavaliers who are struggling but uh against the hot New York Knicks. The game that I'm looking for, sorry, Cowboys. I'll watch out in the first couple first half, but I'm watching the San Antonio plus Spurs versus the OKC Thunder at 2.30. Then you got the Dallas Mavericks versus the Warriors at 5 p.m. You got the late game, the Houston Rockets versus the Lakers. And I I'm not gonna lie, I might be asleep by then. The 10:30 game, the Minnesota Timberwolves versus the Nick Nuggets. I wish they would move that earlier because I would like to see Jokers play. But I might be sleep, I might not make it past the first half of that game. But those are your games. NBA, y'all got lucky this year.

SPEAKER_00:

Just real lucky. They got real lucky. Let's be real. Patrick Martin's getting hurt changes that game completely. Which speaking of which the Chiefs is moving to Kansas City, moving to Kansas, they leaving Missouri. They're going to Kansas. But, anyways, hell the Royals might be leaving too. We we can leave that for next week. But the NF NBA got extremely lucky. I do wish, can I say, I wish the the Pistons was the Cavaliers. Yeah, I get at the beginning of the season why you picked the Cavaliers, but the Cavaliers has been they've been struggling all year.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, there was even some rumors that Kenny Atkinson would get fired, but the report that came out that hey, he's good, we'll let him figure it out.

SPEAKER_00:

Which I don't think it's fair to even consider him being fired because the fact they have been missing two starters for every game this year. How can you predict what the how can you blame the coach for what the team what's going on with the team when you know what I'm saying? 40% of your starting lineup has been out every game, and not to mention Max Struce has not, I don't think if I remember correctly, he ain't played it out this year. Nope. So it how can you blame how can you even blame Kenny Axis? How can you even grade his coaching of his coaching right now when he's missing so many key? He's missing so many key players. Darius Garland has been a shell of himself compared to where he has been the past three, four years. He ain't been that this year. His shooting splits is bad. Like real, real bad. You know what I'm saying? The Jared Jared Allen's been heard. Donovan Mitchell, Donovan Mitchell has played good, even receiving Tim Bontemps does the straw uh MVP votes. And Donovan Mitchell's receiving MVP votes, not first place, but on the ballot type MVP votes. Because in fact, the reason Cleveland is even in the position they in right now this year is because of Donovan Mitchell. Because listen to me, Evan Mobley ain't played flights out neither. And he has some injuries too. But you in the NBA, you gotta love it right now. Oh, I know I went through a whole ten year about the cavaliers next game, my man.

SPEAKER_01:

But yeah, you're right though. NBA is if you Adam Silver, you're like, thank God. But uh Christmas Day will be on a Friday next year, if I'm not mistaken. So you know, they're coming. They're coming again next season.

SPEAKER_00:

They're gonna keep they're gonna keep coming. The NFL is going to continuously come because they want Christmas Day now. If I'm the NBA, I know I've said it before and I'm gonna keep saying it. I would make that Christmas Eve happier.

SPEAKER_01:

They don't they don't have a single game on Christmas Eve.

SPEAKER_00:

I would make my Christmas Eve a lot. Detroit should be playing on Christmas Eve. Now, can I go ahead, my bad. I was ready. Go ahead. Go ahead, go ahead. I just want to say, I don't think I understand, I get it's Steph Curry. But should they even be on TV with the Mavericks? It's y'all, it's all about numbers because you because people are gonna tune in and watch Steph Curry.

SPEAKER_01:

They look at Steph. That's like I said, that's only the NBA slate isn't horrible. Could it have been better? Yes, behind sights 2020. It's way better than the NFL slate. But they got probably the two best teams playing from our perspective and potential Western Conference Finals game. City of Tenor versus OKC. Outside of that, they got the names. They got Jokic versus Ant-Man. They got Katie versus LeBron slash Luca. The Knicks. Again, the Knicks have been red hot. They won the NBA Cup. They've been looking pretty good. The Cavs, you went on your tangent.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, I went on my tangent. Like you said, the uh the Thunder in the uh the Spurs is the best game. I'm going to be, you know me, I'm a basketball head. So I'm on Christmas Day, I'm going to be watching basketball. That's what I do. I'm going, I'm going to watch basketball. I think um, like you the NBA got lucky because of the injuries. Then you also got lucky because of the simple fact Oklahoma City and the Spurs just played in the semifinal of the NBA Cup, and it was a good game. So then that's your prime time game. You know what I'm saying? And we already saw what it would, what the potential could be. I just hope Wimby is a uh is off the minute restriction.

SPEAKER_01:

He's day-to-day, he's still on the winning minutes restriction. I hope he came off the bench in the cup, right?

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, he came off the bench in the cup, yeah. So hopefully he's starting again. So that's the only thing I hope for as long as Wimby is healthy. But that's going, that's going to as I'm hoping that game delivers. Because if that game delivers, you'll if you the NBA, you get more eyeballs watching. Because that's gonna be the game, that's gonna be the Christmas game going forward for the next five years. Yeah. Because Wimpy's still gonna be there. They got uh Stefan Castle, he's still gonna be there. Uh there Harper's uh Ron Harper's son, Harper. I can't think of his name, but he's gonna be Dylan Harper, he's still gonna be there. So a lot of the people you're going to watch on this Christmas Day game is still gonna be there for the Spurs as well as Oklahoma City, because you already know. Uh Shag ain't going nowhere, Ched ain't going nowhere, J Dub ain't going nowhere. Yeah. So no, I mean they need the NBA needs this game to be really good.

SPEAKER_01:

They need they really need to start going ahead and uh initiating the the rivalry. Um the rivalry promos and getting that getting that together, start start something. We need a little rivalry to start between these two teams.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, they need they but it already is. Wimby Wimby was talking junk about the Spurs, you know. I mean about the uh about the Thunder, the Thunder and the Cup. And you already know Chad and Wimby don't get they don't already don't like each other. They don't rock. So yeah, no, they like you said they need to pro they need to promo this and pro push it that this is a rivalry because everybody loves everybody loves rivalry. They don't care about each other for real.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, and so um LeBron came out, and this is this is gonna be a problem for Victor as long as he's healthy and is in the NBA. He's basically like, I'm tired of playing on Christmas. I'd rather be at home on the couch with my kids. How you feel? I mean, I mean it it it's the greatness, there's a price to greatness. That's my that's my instant you, LeBron. There's a price to greatness, and that just also lets me know he's close to being Dylan. Oh that's some people saying he might not come back next year. Now I'd be shocked if he does that. Because if you're Adam Silver, if you're an NBA, I need that, I need that retirement tour, dog. We need that extra little money.

SPEAKER_00:

So I think um I think LeBron would LeBron's gonna let us know the year before. He's gonna let us know the outseason, but if we're being truthful. I mean the Lakers is a draw. Not only are you LeBron, but you also play for the Lakers. The Lakers is go play on Christmas. So like you said, I think that's more of a sign of yeah, he about to he about to hang it up. More so than anything else. He's about to hang it up because you can't you LeBron James, you excuse me, you still a bit, you're still a big draw. And then you play for the Lakers, which is the I won't say the biggest draw. I think they're biggest. I know, I know evaluation money-wise, uh go to state value more, but as far as keep eyes on the two, I think it's Lakers. I agree. And then Knicks is number two. So you mean you're gonna be playing. But oh yeah, what two more years of LaBerne? Probably better.

SPEAKER_01:

That's probably about it. All we got, but yeah, so but yeah, I'm looking forward to Christmas Day Slace again. I uh you know, I'm gonna I'm gonna watch the Cowboys Command's game to halftime. Then I'm watching San Antonio Thunder.

SPEAKER_00:

So let's hold on, real quick, before we get into the NFL, because I know we were talking about that. Let's pick these games.

SPEAKER_01:

All right, let's go ahead.

SPEAKER_00:

So, all right, we ain't gonna, you know, first game is uh the the Cavaliers versus the Knicks. I got the Knicks, man. They ran out, and it's in New York. Okay, I got the Knicks as well. OKC versus San Antonio.

SPEAKER_01:

Uh San Antonio won the last matchup, so I'm gonna go with OKC.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, because it's also in uh Warriors versus uh I was gonna say Thunder, but Mavericks.

SPEAKER_01:

Seems like Steph Curry plays very well on Christmas Day, so I'm gonna go with the Warriors.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay, and then uh Lakers versus Houston. Oh no. I ain't saying I'm gonna uh I'm going with I think I'm gonna go with them, I'm gonna go nah, I'm going scurry, my bad. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

Um the Lakers, they've been a little bit up and down here the last well since December hit. Uh I'ma I'm gonna go with the Rockets. Yeah, I'm gonna go with the Rockets.

SPEAKER_00:

Not confident in it. Not confident. I was gonna say, I think I'm gonna go with the Lakers just because it's at home. The Rockets is the better team, in my opinion, but I think I'm gonna go with the Lakers. The last one, Timberwolves and Nuggets.

SPEAKER_01:

I'm going with uh the best player on the court, and that's Jokic. And before we go, um to the NFL Pick'ems. I said a wild statement in my friends' group chat, and I want to see your thoughts, and I want to see if I'm crazy.

unknown:

Okay.

SPEAKER_01:

We, you know, we we it was a weird, basically a weird debate about like what team would be better adding a certain player, and then they pretty much the debate became Nikolai Jokic and Shaq. And I said, a little bit projecting into the future, but pretty much I said, I think Jokic is the best big to lace him up.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay, I'm gonna give you a copy. I think Joker is he might be the most talented overall overall. I think he's the most talented. It's kind of the same thing I always say with LeBron. LeBron's the most talented player, but if he asked me, I'm gonna take MJ. I think I I still would take Shaq, because Shaq just was so dominant. Like I think Shaq Shaq putting Joker on posters, because Joke ain't Joker ain't jumping with Shaq. Now I a Joker might put up 15 assists on Shaq, but I don't think he's putting up, you know, a 30, 30.15 assists on Shaq. So I don't I understand, I understand your statement, but I think I still lean towards Shaq.

SPEAKER_01:

Okay, so projecting into the I was like I said, I was also projecting to the future. The way Joker's style is, I think what hit the man is what 31, 32-ish. He's gonna play if he wants to, he can play until his 40s. Because the way he plays now is like a 40-year-old now. But I don't think he's gonna want to. So I just think he's gonna have so many crazy accolades. He's gonna be the best big that legs him up. And like I said, part of the reason why I said right now it's his prime. I don't think he's gonna get much better. He's gonna, he's he'll probably start to hit the decline maybe in three or four more seasons, he'll probably start to hit a decline. But he's in his prime, and we saw Shaq in his prime. I don't know. I just feel like from my perspective, the reason why I thought of him, and it came to my mind, Shaq got weak weaknesses, and was used, and they use those weaknesses against him a lot. Joker ain't got many weaknesses outside of his athleticism, and he makes it work for him. Right, you know, it was literally hack, it was a literally a thing called Hackershack. Yeah, but Shaq also got four of them things.

SPEAKER_00:

Joker got one. Now, mind you, Joker does was it three MVPs? Have to be four. Shaq fourth one. I should rather be his fourth one. I think Shaq only got one or two. I think Shaq got one. He got one. I think I think Joker's gonna have the better career as far as like numbers and accolades. But I if I'm going play, I think I'm still course back.

SPEAKER_01:

At least you didn't make me seem feel as crazy. Well, one person made me feel crazy in the group chat. He made me he thought I was a fool and said I was on that stuff they was on in the 1970s, but no, I don't, I don't, I don't, I don't think it's that bad.

SPEAKER_00:

Because I see like you said, I see your argument. Joker Joker's about to have four MVPs. Because Joker's it's it's already a two-man race, like it was last year for MVP. It's already Joker and shade. So Joker is potentially he's going he can have four MVPs. Yep. You know, and like you said, projecting the future, he quite, he might make another. Joker might retire with five, five, five, six MVPs. Yep. You it's kind of hard to argue that. So yeah, no, obviously what I appreciate.

SPEAKER_01:

Appreciate you for not making me feel as crazy. Uh, but let's go ahead and head to the NFL Pick'ems.

SPEAKER_00:

All right. Uh we'll start off with three Christmas Day games, even though, you know, like you said, they have really no ramifications whatsoever. But it is the Dallas Cowboys. So do you if the Dallas Cowboys is gonna do numbers. Whether you know they got something to a playoff potential or not, if they're gonna do numbers. So, Cowboys versus Commander, so you get.

SPEAKER_01:

Uh, we are not a great team, but we are a better team than uh Jaden Daniel's commander. So I'm going with the Cowboys, especially if our players play, which I'm assuming.

SPEAKER_00:

So I'm going with y'all as well, because I think, like you said, this might be one of y'all last huras. Like, you know what I'm saying? Y'all gonna put up numbers this week.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

Because it's gonna be basically, you know, the last week, but if I get that, we're gonna go out and shut it down, dog. You know what I mean? So yeah, nah. I think the cowboys, I think the cowboys are gonna win. I think they're gonna win big. All right. I think y'all gonna put 40 up on him. We need to. All right, uh, Lions versus uh Vikings. Lions need to win this game.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, they need to win it. I think they'll win it. Um Brumson. Bronson, he's the quarterback for the Vikings. JJ McCarthy got hurt again. That availability is about to be a question, JJ. I'm sorry. You missed the whole last season, you missed a lot of this season. JJ, you hey, gotta get it together. I'm going with the Lions. They took a tough loss, and like you said, they need to win it. The playoff chances is very slim. I don't think they get in, but they gotta win it if they want a chance.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay. Um Broncos versus Chiefs. The Broncos have nothing to play for.

SPEAKER_01:

Broncos, I mean, they got a chance to get the number one seed, overall seed in AFC. That's it. Like I said, the Chiefs, they're getting their cabo, Cancun trips, Travis Kelsey working on this wedding. They got a third-string quarterback. They looked awful last week. And that news that they might be moving, because this game is in Kansas City. I've been to Kansas City, nice city. Uh, unfortunately, that they're I don't know why they're moving, but unfortunately, they might be moving, so some fans might not be very happy. So, I mean, we know why they're moving, but there's gonna be some upset fans in that stadium, probably. So, I'm going with the Denver Broncos.

SPEAKER_00:

Okay, uh, yeah, whatever question. The Chiefs let us beat them. All right, uh, Ravens versus Packers. This is a Saturday night game.

SPEAKER_01:

You said it was it Ravens? Ravens versus Packers. Uh who knows if Lamar is gonna play. Packers took a tough loss last week. I'm gonna go with the Packers. Okay, uh I'm going to go Packers need to win that game. Well, both Ravens and Packers, they need to win those games.

SPEAKER_00:

I was gonna race both of them need to win the game. Oh, see, I was gonna go Ravens until you see that it's a chance Lamon might not play.

SPEAKER_01:

Hurt his back last night. I'm going back. I probably would shut him down, man. Like, hey, we might as well go ahead. He ain't been the same since his hamstring injury.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, I'm gonna go back because you're right. I will go on and shut it down. All right, moving to Sunday. Uh Saints versus Titans.

SPEAKER_01:

Tallishuck looked good. He got the most wins of all the rookies. And y'all was hating on our guy. We saw, I saw the tweets. Y'all was showing that one little clip of his bad throw at the NFL combine. Look who laughing now. Most most wins by rookie, but who they playing again? The Tennessee Titans. I gotta go with my guy, Tyler Shark. Okay.

SPEAKER_00:

Uh Shuck is gonna be a good NFL quarterback. We said it too.

SPEAKER_01:

People well, I thought he would be solid and then find his role as a backup somewhere, but he might, he might do something.

SPEAKER_00:

Nah, he's gonna be good. You know, everybody know where I'm going with. You know, Shuck Bird game, but not he don't play for the Birds, he'll play for the Blue in the NFL. So I'm going to the Titans. All right, Eagles versus Bills.

SPEAKER_01:

Eagles really don't have much to play for. Bills have still got a lot to play for. So I'm gonna go with the Bills. Um, if the Eagles had lost last week, I would probably look at it a little bit differently, but they didn't. They won and sent my team to Cobo. Bills. Are you going Eagles or Bill? You going Bills or Eagles? I'm going Bills. Bills needed more Eagles. They're about to start shutting it down and prepare for the playoffs. I'm going Eagles.

SPEAKER_00:

I'm going to Eagles because of the simple fact. I think they gonna they gotta get, I feel like they gotta get on the road. If they don't get on the road, if they get on the road, they go in the Super Bowl this year. You know, again. But they gotta start, they gotta start now. They gotta get this is the time to start getting hot, so I'm going Eagles. All right, lastly, because I'm not doing Monday night because it's rams, it's realms and falcons. We're not nobody cares. Bears versus 49ers.

SPEAKER_01:

They hit the 85 Bears, but it's a good Bears team. I think they're never a Super Bowl continuing team, so I'm going with the Bears. It's it's weird. The 49ers, they got a good record, but they really not that good.

SPEAKER_00:

It's weird. They defense is good, but the offense is kind of the offense is consistent. I think that's what you could say about the 49ers. Their offense is consistent. Uh, I am actually gonna go with the 49ers. Why just because you want the best, but yeah, that's it.

SPEAKER_01:
